adding to my previous comment about the back to back stuns/para/inter etc...open palm need to tweaked...I have managed two games in which I have stun locked the other guy until he died with 3 straight stuns. either alter the speed of the move, or give it slight more dmg and a hugher energy cost.

Great Game, However, betas are all about the complaining so here goes:
1) FIX THE TIMER. I would have made this complaint # 1,2, and 3 but that is silly. Abusive players are already figuring out that "waiting out" is a valid winning strategy. PVP should be quick and bloody. The game is already borderline slow, no excuse to make it a half hour match.
2) Let people play practice before choosing cards. Picking blindly without knowing the rules is frustrating.
3) Matches need more options. Why as a level 1 should I have to fight a level six billion? Let me fight people my own skill level or choose to fight people over my head.

great game the graphics are good but the battle moves need a little bit of work. Also the window which the game is in is to big so i cant see everything but other then that 4/5

is there a description of what the levels and skill levels get you and what that means anywhere? Cause I just leveled up the first time and cant figure out if that means anything

Also...can we get some percentages of how often a "may cause" ability is....cause it would help knowing your odds.
back to back stuns/paralyze/interupt can get crazy. Maybe -10% chance each consecutive time would help...this could also keep people from saying alive from phylactery too long (ex. 50 percent chance to stun, if stunned 40%, if stunned again 30%) or something

for some reason, amaya's shadow curse ability, (the one that says reduces the chance to hit of ALL enemies by 20%), only applies to the character in combat and nobody on the bench. is this a bug or am i just reading the text wrong?

I was slightly annoyed that you had to pick your starter cards before you heard a tutorial - I didn't know what to pick, and felt that I was bound by my uninformed decisions.

bug: i got a phoebe card after winning a match (the opponent timed out). when i add the phoebe card to my deck, however, it becomes a zina card. i have screencaps, but the bug report button in the chat window doesn't take me anywhere (bug in the bug reporting?).

This comment is in reference to a FLAW in the game as you mouse over several different things in the game, a box appears in the bottom left displaying information, well when you mouse of certain things within the game, you cannot see them, and of course when you scroll down, you can't mouse over certain things to see the information..
IE: Mousing over your opponents equipped items, you cannot read the information...This may be worth a look, unless of course it just have something to do with the browser I use or my settings...

If you hit the magnifying glass next to someone waiting for a match and under "Stats" you'll see their record. If you leave that tab expanded and then join that game you'll also get to see yours. You don't even have to play them since you can just leave before the match starts. It's a bit rude but it's also the most reliable way to see your own record at the moment.

the phylactery for some reason works too well i had a person not die after i killed him 8 times.... 8!!! id make it more of a 15% not a 30%.

the characters are a little unbalanced, onimaru with the healing salve is like half invincible against the speed characters, but other than that, i'm loving it.

The "Switch" button on the cards is still present when you turn the card over to look at the information for the character. It makes it hard to read the back. If resting is supposed to restore, energy, it doesn't appear to do so.

I think this is an unhappy bug - you tell me.
Vanessa with gem of souls - when she kills cards in the other player's deck (i.e. with Radiance Burst, she does not pick up their innate abilities. The Gem doesn't say "on the field", it just says defeats opponents.

I feel like my Teleport and Ninja-port should not be counterable by bringing a new guy in. Sure, no damage and let the new character on the board, but with the stance changed. It's not like Helene's Enchant Blade is countered by switching someone else in.
This is especially important if you find yourself in a 1v2 situation. It's too easy to force someone into only playing long or only playing short when switching counters these affects.

I think crits need to be toned down...one hit KOs in this game are too common and in a 3 card match can basically end the game on turn one if the one hit ko comes from the first person to strike- tend to cause alot of grief (dmg 75-95 range)
lost punk: making the distance cost any less than 40 and you would never be able to change the stance due to everyone using it and then a skill the next round

in one match marquis le morte died even though he gained health (simultaneously) he then came out later (when he was the last card left) with the life that he gained but he was invisible. he also appeared as dead in my opponents deck.

The AI can be kind of silly at times, for example when I'm fighting against Onimaru who doesn't have any damage dealing ranged attacks, will not move into close range while I pummel him from afar.

Excellent, this is truly going to make Kongregate stand out from all of those other games sites such as NG. I love the concept, there are a few bugs but I'm sure they will be corrected. A few minor setbacks, for example the CPU in practice is fairly slow in responding to you. I would very much appreciate it if it were faster, just for people new to the game. Excellent art, whoever made the art is pretty talented, and I think it should be said. Overall it blatantly gets 5/5 because of it's unique concept and a great way of challenging other users on Kongregate. I can't wait for the official release, when everyone can play. Will certainly continue playing. :D

It's real nice,i just think it should have something like a points system instead of number of wins to level up,like u win from a higher level u get more points ;)
