brilliant, *brilliant* idea. I can't overstate how much I love open-ended puzzle/challenge games like this, where I get to design and tweak something. Notes, though: a tutorial would help, and the first level isn't in-depth enough to count. In fact, with as few levels as there are, this feels like it should be the tutorial for a full game that hasn't been developed yet. The ability to save/share/export designs would be cool. Fighting other peoples' mechs would be exponentially awesome. Also, timed switches/valves would be really cool, and not just to make a machine gun.
I'd give my right arm for you to make a sequel. Incomplete as it is, this is one of the coolest games on kong. Let us fight each other's bots, and it will be far and away the best.

This game was certainly a good idea, but definitely needs a tutorial. I'd definitely like to see the exact specifications of what happens to the pressure in each port. For example, trying to make the mech alternate between walking and crouching with an alternator valve doesn't work. Also, the steam cannon works in a very unintuitive way.

I can't seem to make the control valve do anything. The valve control never seems to move. And everything is all hooked up. Is there some really simple solution to it that I don't know?

My god this game is fantastic, but you really need to implement a way to carry over your design specs to the next level. Also you need a tutorial badly.

It took me almost a year to find out that Krispykrem also made the codex of alchemical engineering and kohctykop. Then I said: OHH... now it makes sense.

Crouching makes you more accurate... it's just that the rifle only hits the body, not the legs. So use a switch to make him duck incoming fire, and stand to shoot.

Lol, steam cannon, control valve, and a couple of steam vents are all you need :P Defiantly can't wait for chapter 2!!

here is ho to use the rifle attach two fuse valves to each part set the top one to ten and the bottom above 20 connect it to a steam boiler

if you use the alternator on the crouch mechanism, it makes him teabag. also, if you have the alternator lead to two fuse valves connected to the rifle and set the fuses and alternator to 50 or 60 it shoots auto

@esran Because I beat the game, I'll give you my most efficient design. The rifle works like this: The top valve loads a shell, so have one pipe leading into it. The bottom valve fires the shell. Have a pipe leading to that, but with a fuse valve as well. The fuse valve has to be set to at least 30 psi. You can run both pipes from one boiler, connected by a joint connecter. It fires reliably, and can deal pretty good damage if the fuse valve is set to 60 psi.

I've found a few ways to get my opponent down to basically no health on level 3, but I just can't seem to beat him! A very fun game nonetheless.

yes in real life crouching improves accuracy which is why i question how to win the second one a melee assault your dead in two shots ranged standing you die in two shots so crouch and walk away from your computer for an hour or so
