After completing this game, I checked the closet to make sure I did have some extra light bulbs handy in case I happened to need one.
Hi. I have finished the next part of Abandoned. It's not Abandoned 2, but spin-off. Some bridge between 1st and 2nd part. Hope you'll like it. http://www.kongregate.com/games/krutovigor/abandoned-the-cube-chambers/

As with many games of this type, some sort of tutorial or hints should be given as to what to do rather than let people click on things randomly and in frustration.

Only thru the first door but I'm getting highly frustrated on how slow it is travelling between screens. You have to wait half a second after each transition till the "button" shows up.

So what. Yes, the game has an obvious Mateusz Skutnik's "Submachine" game influence. The other game of the developer of "Abandoned", Igor Krutov, is "Empty room escape", which, this time, has an obvious Valentin "Sagrario's room" game influence. And yet, both have unique puzzles, unique graphics, unique atmospher, unique mysteries. Both have astonishing playthrough qualities. Both are great games, and can be played several times without being bored – a non-quite common thing in games, actually. I agree for the "original" uncrediting thing, though, but I don't understand all the hating process. Krutov seems a great game developer. All he need now is to escape far from existing concepts, and create something of his own.

This is what I look for in an escape-type game. Good art, logical puzzles, and atmosphere.
As people are saying - yes, it is very much like Submachine. So what? I liked that series too. This is a little bigger than the original Submachine, but with easier puzzles. Well, mostly. That damned bunker about drove me crazy. Had to resort to the walkthrough to figure it out.
All that being said, a solid 4 of 5 (by my scoring system, 3.8, rounded up). Looking forward to the next installment.

Once you get past how ripped off the style of the game is, the puzzles are actually quite good. I honestly think it'd be better (and less of a copy of Mateusz Skutnik) if there weren't random notes lying around trying to build more mystery. I think just having these strange places and devices would be enough.

so I got to the control room, and decided to act a little crazy, started melodically and repetitively saying Copenhagen (sometimes I surprise myself with my own insanity), started flipping the switches to a random position, pushed the lever in and got it on my first try! sometimes the best way to think is without a mind!

(continuation) of course when reviewing other comments, the lever on the right may not require a specific frequency, but instead need to be pulled by default.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
(potential spoilers) for the part with the two levers, it seems that each lever requires a different frequency(I have noticed that the lever on the right was reset when I completed the puzzle). also, prepare yourself as you open the box b/c the noise it makes when opening is rather startling.

@littlefreak100: The 'nhyu' is this games secrets, hidden in the game are the letters n, h, u, and presumably y, though I haven't found that one.

I got stuck so used the walkthrough, and it appears I may have found a bug? (unless I'm missing something even when watching the walkthrough).
There's a lever that keeps springing back up (rather then staying in the down position) every time I click it but in the walkthrough it's clicked once and it stays down...

Not a total clone of Submachine, but is clearly heavily inspired by it. Author (who may also be Russian, judging by the name) needs to work on his English, though. Who calls a gear a "hexagon," anyway?

Most of the comments are true, this game really reminds Submachine series. But i think the puzzles were creative enough to not be a clone game (especially rubic cube puzzle). I hope the second game will be more and more creative than this :) keep making great games :)
Note: there were some logic errors but its ok until you won't make the same mistakes in the other games :)
-sorry for terrible english-

what? seriously? if this is true, NetMonster, then this game is simply copied,
and the admin (copier) of this game made new things in it. or he didnt do anything to it at all.

Silly random clicking to open that trapdoor. Just using the key should be enough.
Also, the "rubik" puzzle was a good idea, but poorly implemented. I'm not talking about color-blindness but the fact that there's only ONE solution when the way the floating cube is displayed could lead to at least three different ones.
Like other people, I believe it's so close to submachine... reminds me of "la Compagnie des Glaces", a series of novels where every "episode" brings more questions to the intrigue and background, but the writer was so ignorant of how he would bring an end and answer all those questions that he preferred to have the main character killed, then starting all over with another one.
It seems that's the same with "submachine" not really ending, but we start again with "abandoned"
Just because of all this, I won't give a 5/5 to this game... decreased to 3/5, even if that could be worth more.

I hope you let us know when sequels come out. Some of the assembly and sequence are very obscure, but the walkthrough helped. I would have preferred not to use the walkthrough though. If you need someone to help with proof-reading text, you have plenty of people here who would be glad to do so.

Great game - I'm a huge Submachine fan, so it was right up my alley. Two little nitpicks, though: please, please proof-read your texts - I understand that English isn't your native language, so maybe you could get a native speaker to help you? Broken translation kinda takes away from otherwise great experience. And please, include a color-blind option - Rubic cube section was sorta impossible without any indication which color is which. Nevertheless, a very enjoyable game, 5/5 stars. Hope to see the next part soon. :)

I'm not sure if it's my autism or what, but I can't seem to understand much of what's said here. They couldn't be bothered to have a native or at least fluent English-speaking person help them translate? That's like, Zero Wing lazy.

You need to make it more clear that you can back out of the cube rooms and make the colors match better to the hologram cube; I almost quit and gave the game a 1/5 because I didn't see that I could back out of the rooms.
