1 star cause game is bugged, I got 23/24 orders done. When I got to the last order it wasn't possible, even when I used 3 top left stars... game over

Does anyone have an optimal pastry set? I have a lot of the pastries and I don't know which pastries to pick. I think the one with the most strategic power would be the one I use. Right now, I'm using [3] Cinnamon Bun (Shuffle orders and reflip), [4] Pretzel (Reduce any order to x1), [6] Eclair (Start game w/ 1 star), and [10] Rum Baba (Seduce- Change the pastry of an order) I have most of the pastries and I want to know what the best combo is.

For a theme/jam game this is pretty good! Wish it had mouse/WASD/space, or a bit more power variety ('overeat' ~ more than # in an order, change single pastries, or so on) but it's fun unlocking the powers. speaking of which (most cost 1 star to use): [5] swap pastry with its 'next' at the top. [6] (free) start with +1 star. [7] swap 2 adjacent columns. [8] swap 2 vertically. [9] redraw 'next 4' slots. [10] randomly change an order's pastry. [11] swap 2 horizontally. [12] (free) start with +1 star. [13] swap 2 adjacent rows. [14] flip board vertically. [15] duplicate pastry into 4 'next' slots. [16] (costs 2) clear all of a type.

It's alright. I like that I can choose my pastry pieces to mix things up. However, I do feel like some power ups are objectively better than others, so it could use a little balancing.

yeah still, there literally is no repeatability for normal and hardmode besides the fact that you are forced to do it - I got like 18 coins for hardmode and didnt use a single power. it is not challenging and even if I min-max I might only get slightly more than 20 coins. still still forces me to do hardmode roughly 5-6 times to unlock everything yet it yields no real challenge because I cannot do better than not using a single power up and the rest comes down to a bit of min-maxing and rng. I dont see the point why unlimited mode should not give coins - at least make it like 1 coin for each 10-20 matches

why do I have to farm 'normal' or 'hard' mode (which are way to easy, maybe rename them to easy/intro and normal mode) to get coins and not infinite mode, which is the only mode that actually is challenging as it at least requires endurance
The amount of coins you get on normal and hard mode depends on how many stars you have left at the end of each run. If you want to unlock pastries quickly, finishing runs is not enough. You need to finish efficiently. The better you are at the game the less grinding you will be doing.

I like the game :) the star-powers really make it more fun than your general match-3 game.
One complaint though, the game doesn't seem to save progress, had to start over when I returned :|

Sorry, but even after reading the explanation in game I still do not get what I am supposed to do. Maybe it's just me, but the game is not intuitive at all.
It's really not that complicated. You've played way more complex games. Check out the illustrated manual on the game's main page. Perhaps the visuals help!

Had fun using only remove and diet in infinite mode until 3x of the same offer came so i used like 8 skill points but the 3x kept coming. kinda sad about rng but definitely a very good game. (192 score) for devs: I didnt know that I had to press X at start, maybe add something like "CONTROLLS: PRESS X TO CONTINUE" to make it more obvious since people are used to clicking :D

Infinite mode is more about endurance than it is about skill. Seriously, it takes forever to get a decent score. I think I sat there for an hour to get 820. Good luck!
They don't call it "Infinite Mode" for nothing. ;)
But yeah, Table Flip is probably OP for Infinite Mode. I'll keep an eye on it and might nerf in the future. 820 is a fantastic score! Kongrats!
