Hang on a second... In the intro cut scene, the guy scoops up his cat with his sword. As I understand it, this is not the recommended way to pick up a cat.

took me a million tries to realise that you have to be HOLDING JUMP TO DO THE ATTACK JUMP THING ON THE TARGETS. also freaking monoliths, remind me so much of EBF3 and getting oneshotted by superlazerbeam - Also try full mage outfit + max thunder, 2-shot monoliths and regain mana from whacking at random monsters

Matt, please make the Fire spell more useful. Most things that are susceptible to Burn could be one-shot by a Bolt or Seiken right away, which in most cases is the preferrable option. Bolt has a great attack power and Ice is great for setups with low magic power or performing MP stasis with a staff, but Fire is mostly useless right now.

Just updated it to version 1.4:
-Level 17-A has some extra platforms.
-The Foe Rush gives you some pots towards the end.
-Red bats and dark monoliths have had their HP and contact damage reduced a bit.
-Fixed a wee bug with saving/loading remapped keys.

To beat the game easier: Mana staff,Magic hat+robe
spam heal and use thunder/seiken to enemy.Keep attack to provide your mp: use attack combo to knockback enemy or use jump-attack to bounce on enemy
To speedrun: Claymore, Viking hat+ Armor
JUST RUSH ALL ENEMY AND SLASH THE BOSS
To have some technique play: Katana Ninja gear+hat
Faster attack, higher jump. Great for bounce attack combo.
To become a tank: Any weapon, Knight armor+helm
Enemy's attack feel like tickle.
to become a weirdo: Umbrella, Magic robe, Viking helm.
Spawn attack magic that deal no damage or hurt yourself by healing magic. Floating like a balloon.
to become Matt: Pirate gear+hat+sword
Classic gear.

Nice job. I couldn't help but notice in the high scores that you had over 2200 coins and 220 chests. Were you testing out a 23rd level?

Within the span of a few days, we get a new William and Sly, Kingdom Rush, and now a new EPF game?? Truly, this has been a fabulous week.

Really, I don't even know why matt bothers. He should just send No-legs. Little blue bastard doesn't seem to have any trouble getting past even the worst bosses.

(Spoiler Warning: do not continue unless you have collected all ingame medals or are struggling too much.)
Foe/Boss rush on hard/epic: use the mage staff/robes and knight helm. The robes will improve magic and allow an extra slot, the staff will allow you to restore MP as you use physical attacks. The helm is suggested for its high hp boost. The mage gear doesn't have much hp, and since damage on epic is doubled compared to normal, you'll need some hp to survive and magic to improve heal's effect. a couple of the bosses can be damaged by their own attacks, but you might have to spam bolt if you have the magic to spare. Use Temper if you find yourself getting hit often, it'll cut off 1/4 of the damage, making touching the Oblivion go from 40 to 30 on epic. The foe rush won't be as much of a problem because there's plenty of enemies to help restore mp.

I travel far and wide, across mountains and desert, tundra and volcano, beat down minions and bosses alike just to hug my missing cat because 'saving the princess' is too mainstream :P

In Mario, you have to drag down a flag to complete a level.
In Sonic, you have to turn a gate.
In this game, you get to hug an adorable kitten.
It's obvious which one's the best.

How the hell does the cat make it to the end before you, as well as past all those enemies?!? Oh wait, that's right... it's a cat.

With the -hp trick I get -205 hp!!! I'm Inmortal!!! (throwing himself to an endless pit, hp goes to 0. Dead) ok, I'm not.

Geez. Wearing the viking hat, mage clothes, mage staff, any spell you cast does the opposite. I tested it and healed a boss using fire.

If there was a Multiplayer version, for example Player 1 Matt and Player 2 NoLegs, I would be addicted to this game. (NoLegs does hold a sword in the actual game.)

I love how your characters span multiple game genres. The same team in a turn-based RPG, a shooter, a platformer... Feels really comfortable, like going into Applebee's. 5/5
