A very challenging game as well as having spectacular art and music. I especially like that in the first game nolegs was the first boss and yet ended up joining them to take the place of mog

a little hint: in the two headed hydra try to damage both heads equally or almost equally to then slay them both in 1 round to win easily!!!!!!

Well in epic mode i think it's better to use flare and have matt use swift brand for evade and leech mp isntead of hp and have him use power metal or legend on hydra.

A Tips Which is Work on Every Boss :
Use Natz Special Skill When The Boss Battle then Use the Magic which is The Boss's Weakness And Use a Slimebunny to heal
For Matt :
If u Have learned [ Counter ] , Use The Sword [ Blood Blade ] ITs not really strong but when u Used [ Counter ] , U Healed
Tips For Hydra :
Use Syphon To First make the Hydras cant use their Magic [ Instanly Died ]

I agree with BadassPrincess guide use matt's rune blade and have Natz use slime bunny to get mana leech and bunny/bunny upgrades on first wave on second wave switch to stone edge(or swift brand if you want eagles eyes for +20 acc and +5 evade)and get counter,nolegs or airstrike natz should use thunder and get thunderclap(increased stun chance with thunder) and on boss you may have matt defend a lot to get defender(Double effect of defend,a must for final boss)or counter,nolegs,airstrike and Natz should get a Bunny or Angel(random autolife)then Matt should get Power Metal healing upgrade and maybe legend upgrade Natz elementalist,magic counter,elusive(+10 evade),immunity(50%resist all bad status effects in level 1 and 100% on level 2)and maybe astrology hope it helps thumbs up if it helps!!!

What i love most about this game is that the recomended games here are Book of Mages:Dark Times and Wings of Genesis,if not for that i'd still prefer EBF1 i hope it get badges!!!

Ive just beated epic mode, and I understand LongGun's advise. Those are right.
And I add another point to them, that's about Slime Bunny. Slime Bunny skills are pitfalls. It doesn't appear automatically in Final Battle! So you shouldn't upgrade this kind of skill thoughout the game.

i think that on longguns guild dont get mana leech because u wont be auto attacking much and if u defend the passives like the star or air strike will do the damage for you

Anyway with Stone Edge with Mana leech and counters,Matt can be both a healer and warrior and Natz would defend since i didnt get mana leech for her which werent even useful anyway.

Well,i used a lot of power metal in the fight too with counters,so no worries about Matts mp by the way another upgrade for Natz is the slime bunny ones.

Konorono, thx I never thought of that. But at the time, I didn't have Matt with a rune blade/with the mana leech upgrade. I had him more as a healer type- he was using power metal every turn with razorback equipped and those two power metal upgrades.It was working pretty well - especially since I had used Airstrike alot and got those two upgrades, therefore blasting the tank (And occasionally everything on the enemy's side) dealing mass damage and even more so with that huge extra bomb. X3 Natz usually attacks the Valkyrie Tank every turn with thunderbolt which deals alot of damage since I boosted her Magic Attack a lot and got Elementalist X2. She was also pretty well defended against physical attacks since her defence gets buffed when hit by a powerful attack. Furthermore, it seems the Nuke (if it ever comes out) is rather weak and lacks resistance against Airstrike and Thunderbolt. And if I haven't said too much already, I acquired the counter attacks for both players.

BadassPrincess,if you follow my strategy using Natz(P2)thunder and getting increased stun chance no syphon is needed then Matt(P1)can use legend(absorbing mp)and Lance will be finished pretty quick and thunder is useful against all the other backup from the final boss which can all be stunned thumbs up if this helps!!!

For the hardest modes use rune blade with matt(P1) on first wave and get mana leech so you can drain mana with stone edge and swift brand also use defend a lot on another wave and get defender and then get counter,nolegs,airstrike and eagle eyes(+20 accuracy and +5 evade gained by using swift brand on a wave)before the hydra dragon because you will have to use swift brand on it you use swift brand before you get the counter too then switch to stone edge to counter and drain mp i really hope this helps sorry if its too long thumbs up if this helps!!!

Really great game. The music and art direction are top notch. I especially like that the game is challenging. It feels like a lot of love went into this one. Sequel plz?
