AAAANNNDD this is the *headdesk* part. I found it, once I finally clicked through the "next" buttons of the sections. Big pretty maps with X's. D'oh.

There are medals for collecting all the chests, but it doesn't tell you where the chests are. I'm combing two areas for the ones I've missed, and I finally break down and look at the "walkthrough"...and it's useless. Is there anything telling us where all the chests are?

In the section Bosses, you mention camo skirt for the protector but you get only acquire camo skirt but defeating it so...... that should be move or removed.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
excuz me, meant first two bosses, not three.
From the mammoth onwards bosses summon those annoying as hell monoliths/bombs, an if they come at the same time, its pretty much instant death.

Missing info on being a cheapass using the MP weapons.
When venturing in the glacier area and beyond, teleport to town then back. When you are low on MP/HP, give everyone their MP weapons. Have Natalie hit the strongest enemies (hers is a 1:1 ratio) then cast healmore. (The walk back should give you at least one round worth of HP), then the weakest enemies with Matt or Lance. Once Matt has enough for Wind Slash, use that on groups of 3+ enemies. Lance should always leap to Snipe/Doubleshot which should take about one attack (exchange rate is 50:1 IIRC). There you have it, with one or two fights, you net yourself more possible forge/quest items and minor xp along with refilling HP/MP.
Also, you can 'milk' the first three bosses equiped right, keep healing and letting the boss summon troops.

I'm having a hard time finding all the chests. For instance, in the forest I've gotten all the ones in view and I believe that I've found all the secret paths. There are no unopened chests on any of the screens that I can see, yet I have not gotten the medal for finding them all. Is there a way you could add chest locations to the walkthrough, or at least add a total chest number (for each section) to the game? That way I'd at least know if I'm only looking for one more chest or ten more. Thanks.

The Locations of all Minigames: Game 1--Food Catcher by Sir Ken found in the scene where the first teleport cystal outside the town lies (Green)// Game 2--Narwhal Surf by James holding an old fish rod found in area "Lake" with the scene having a "Sun" but without "Volcano" as backgroud .// Game 3--Cards in the Snow by Joanne holding a Dream Catcher in area "Glacier" with the scene JUST BELOW the first scene where you can see the ocean and also the Rune-Blade grave, there is an old man who speak no English standing next to Joanne.// Game 4--Ruin Raider by Dishi holding a Thunder Spear in area "Ruins"; there is a scene where you can place all 4 orbs to open the gate to boss which has two doors beside it, go for the right-door and you will eventually find him, and actually he is standing right aside of one of the orbs.// Game 5--Rock Runner by Curly in area "Volcano" with the scene having a cross street built over the lava.// Pro-tip (?) for newbie: talk to every NPC TWICE.

@syuenu : Thank you for reply . Yes , Mat is the best attacker . when akron buff his deafence . he can do 200,000 crit damage to akron by using skill tera drill . Nat can only do 40,000 crit damage by using gudgement when akron is dark . So at this point ,nat should be a healer . But when we get into the 60 medal secret room , where the foes is far more powerful than akron , mat 's attack does not work well . maybe nat with death bringer can kill foes easier .
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@triangle201020 : I have not find death bringer can also kill nat . when death bringer get LV5 it has about 80% chance to doom foes , actually , foe can only attack one time after doomed . Like this : Doomed > attack > die . All the foes can be doomed except Akron , and only bosses and three other foes can't be doomed to death but a little damege . Three foes are cosmic monolith , zombie dragon , and beholder , so you can kill any foe else by just one hit , no matter waht uncountable HP they have . I'm going to try killing last secret room foes by nat .

@ganon5069 Part Two: For the first-turn opening (before that flee until you hold advantage over Akron's element), use Matt's "Temper", Natalie's "Dispel" and Lance's "Syphon". For the second turn use Lance's "Debilitate" first then Matt's Limit Break "Cleaver" and Natalie's "Regen". Never use Natalie's until some tough situation: use "Kyun" to turn tide and gain control, "Genesis" when she is the only one left but never intend to use it just for its holy attack. For the third round and afterwards you may refer to the above stated. The above is mainly for Epic level, maybe at lower level there is other faster way to deal with him but I just gave you the safest one.

@ganon5069 Part One: As the others may have already mentioned, Akron itself is not that problematic. So your choice is quite clear---rather to deal with his minions or not. For me the first battle I killed Akron had chosen to ignore his minions. Matt as the main attacker using LV5 Soul Eater's "Unleash" when Akron is holy, LV5 Heaven's Gate's "Seiken" when he is dark, and other LV5's "Legend". Natalie as the life bringer using "Healmore", "Purify", maxed-out "Revive". Lance as the back-up, using "Syphon" EVERY TURN. Note that the claws in Epic can heal Akron up to 1XX,XXX health using a single skill. When the minions are being syphoned for more than 5 turns, then you may decide to let Lance do something else. My suggestion is "Debilitate" for Matt, "Flare" to increase the chance to survive, "Medicpack" for some tight situation.

@cleancreature, positive if you look at the figures only. In real situation it will be affected by many side factors such as foe's Magic and Physical Defence (Natalie use magic while Matt use physical-with-element, except the dark magic). In short, if you want higher damage output on a single foe you prefer Matt over Natalie, or you can just compare their single-target skill's power. On the other hand when dealing with multiple foes Matt only has one skill to use which is the relatively low-power Wind Slash and in this case Natalie is better for sure. After all it is just the general concept, you have to make your choice wise depending what foes you are facing in real battle. //// I think you can take triangle201020's words on Death Bringer for your reference by the way. One more point is that although Natalie maybe a potential killer, she is a life bringer for the first place.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Natalie's skill element is 100% , it mean do 100% more damage when this element is foe's weakness . and lance do 75% more matt do 50% more . So nattlie works better at foe's weakness . Am i right ?

@Eliminator13, for the rune blade you can find it inside a hidden chest located in area "Glacier", the scene where you can first see the ocean, a path behind the grave. Actually the wordings from the grave gave you hint on this.

@Eliminator13 : Rune Blade is at the glacier valley map 8 chest 2 http://ayumilove.wordpress.com/2010/09/04/epic-battle-fantasy-3-walkthrough/

Maby the most powerful character is natalie with her weapon : Death Bringer . This weapon can dooms the most foes , make them die in 2 turns . It also make natalie immune to death and doom . So you can give nat all the Increase stats items to make her unbeatable and she will kill very powerful foes ( like the foes in last secret room ) very fast .

For those who have trouble with Akron, here goes my tips: Equipment: Matt: casual shirt(level 5)for the resistance of 100% berserk, Rune Blade(lvl 5 too for no chance of failing) for the resistance of death, doom and dark and any hat that provides resistance to anything. Natalie: pope hat, pope dress and sentinel staff(the staff with a eye that you get like a reward of a sidequest, 3rd screen of the forest, the girl with that staff), all lvl 5 Lance: army jacket, soldier helmet and destroyer(to poison Akron and kill him faster), all lvl 5. Obviusly, most skills maxed...nuke or oblivion+kyun+cleaver(all lvl5) will be a lot useful to kill Akron very quickly(nuke+kyun does 100k damage to Akron, but he got to be alone or with some monsters that doesn't adsorb poison or either they will get healed every turn by poison) The rest, it's just healing and stuff(you should carry some pizzas and coffees just in case) Hope it had helped! :D Also click + to keep this comment alive!

!!Spoiler Warning!! When you have collected all 60 medals, the "Death" who said "..." in the volcano area will be gone and you can access to the last medal-secret-room. And the three characters will say the following: Natalie--"I guess this is the part where we've finished everything the game has to offer, and we're given some bribes to keep playing a bit longer."
Lance--"Man, this game sucked. The plot hardly got anywhere. I am truly dissapointed."
Matt--"It's really over? I wanted to kill more stuff."
Natalie--"I guess so. Thanks for playing!" There isn't any god weapon but mainly Misc. & Stat. food. Good luck everyone.

Well, this is not meant to be a completely precise walkthrough. It's designed to be a general reference to help you along in the game. If you wanted a complete, detailed, turn-me-into-a-"winner" walkthrough then google search it. Otherwise, this is a great reference. Thank you Kupo!

Great game. Really fun. I like that its an rpg and not just a battle after battle game like the first 2. What I think would be great is location of the treasures instead of just 'treasures in this map.' How many treasures and a general location would be a great help, thanks!
