You need to tone down the last boss. The fact that he can chain heal himself to full turn after turn while killing 2 members of your team each turn is absolutely insane. Theres nothing that can be done against it.

A good to take out the 3-headed dragon: kill the healer, bring the other two BOTH down to near zero HP, then kill them both, one right after the other (or at the same time)! No need to deal with a mega-boosted "last head standing".

The Camo Skirt is just in front of the first Ruins boss on the left side, a little below the teleport crystal.
The chest is barely visible and there's a second one on the right side.

Lastly, monoliths are annoying, but when you keep up barriers and guardians with adequate resistance you can slowly chip away at them without taking too much damage. Always target one monolith at a time rather than use multi-damage skills; the key is to take them out one by one. Another method is to finish them off as fast as possible without buffing yourself: Matt's earth attacks do well here even if you're only slightly higher level than the monoliths. In general if you're finding it difficult to fight the monoliths, go around grinding mobs for a little before coming back! It helps.

Make use of matt's massive physical damage! A suitable combo would be: Temper on the first turn, barrier to make up for his sword's defense penalties, and lockon, followed by
debilitate. Follow up with legend and watch the health bar of your opponent drop drastically! (You can kill the sandworm in one turn with this combo, if you did it correctly and with some lucky strikes)
Top things to max out in the forge - german hat, german clothing (found near the end of the game, summons tanks and provides a decent damage and defense bonus) and have them on matt. Gas mask and army clothes for lance (free nukes and gas strikes, although the strikes can get annoying near the end of the game when the enemies start healing from poison instead of taking damage) and most important, holy clothes for natalie.

Just general protips:
Poison is always good on any unit if they aren't resistant to it, make sure to get the gas mask on level 5 and nettles on maximum. Careful not to cast it on resistant units, they will heal from it and you cannot remove it! (If you cast it on a ghost, the only way to kill them efficiently is with matt's annihilation move)
Getting strong elemental resistance is key to winning boss battles. For example, natalie's holy armor grants near invulnerability to all dark attacks (0 damage from the final boss minions and some of his own attacks) making your coffee stock last longer.
Regen is a great move to have even if your characters are at full health! Use it often and max it early along with healmore! At max level it heals up to 5000 each turn (although the heal on the activation is only 300 or so) and lasts for 5 turns!
Don't want to waste a turn scanning the mobs? Sure. Simply swap turns to Lance first, scan and flee!

this is somewhat a cheat but it's not, and it wasn't mentioned in the walkthrough:
get black fang lvled up as high as possible, get nettle, toxic and upgrade them. if possible get poison gas (lance's backup) too. gas mask lvl 5 wil randomly summon posion gas.
all this used on the mammoth should kill him off fairly quickly, i used this tatic and won so easily to the point i forgot to scan the mammoth.

For those people are sucked by the mini game medals : I have slowed the game speed down to one-fifth but it's still extremely difficult to get all the medals of mini game. Finally i got 192 points in the fifth mini game without any hited at the one-fifth game speed ! So it's almost impossible to get medal with out cheat ! ! If you want to save your time and get the medals of mini game by slowing game speed down , just cheak this youtube video : " how to slow down flash game " http://bit.ly/cIWRqq Maby it's the only way to get the medals of mini game . I really hope that kupo can reduce the difficulty of getting medals by mini game so i don't need to cheat . Please + if you think this can be helpful to solve mini game medal problem .

For the dual Monos, Regen, then use Matt's highest earth move with the ax, its should do like half its health. Have (hopefully) Natalie use Despell, and keep Regen up always! Lance should be used to clean everything else up. Airstrike and the health drop thing help alot.
The red bar is the limit gauge thing. It fills when you take damage, and when full your attack will blink, and alow you to use one of each person's three limit breaks.

Goddamnit, I'm having problems killing the double white monoliths blocking the right orb pedestals in the Volcano stage. Everytime I get one of them to 1/4 HP (with Airstrike/Tetra Drill) the other heals it to full. Someone help?

alyxmoron, you have to go back to the mammoth place, and theres a teleporting machine, talk to it and enter the Ruins one. you end up one map AHEAD of the closed door.

After playing epic vs mammoth, it is safe to say that the best tactic to fight it is to NOT KILL THE OTHER ENEMIES. The enemies he comes in with is the least dangerous

To all stupid idiots the reason this game gets a good rating and will therefore probably place in the monthly contest is because the game it's for is good and this is helpful for making it more fun making it an Good guide If the kongregate staff didn't want people to win money for guides they would have put a rule exempting them from the contest and also the main game still has to be good for anyone to use the guide (+) if you want to help shut up the haters
