Awesome game, but there's this bug that makes the game stop functioning, and now I'm back to the beginning after 3-4 hours of play

i think i happened upon a bug or something similar. I had entered all places except behind death. i had found all chests in all areas. i had found basically everything, but even so, i was still missing two quest items, making me unable to get some achievements. literally had no way to get the last speaker and missile. illuminate me on my mistakes please.

my childhood consisted of a lot of this. coming back with more knowledge of the inspirations behind this game, I see how deep the game truly is. The story may be decent, with jokes and references to anime, final fantasy and all the kawaii stuff. It truly impresses me that this is a free game on the internet. Better than a lot of the cheap steam games

last boss is so unfair an boring, it keep use on you doom, berserk, death, dispell, poison, freeze, and there is no outfit to protect you from all that, you have to keep buff and healing and it take hours to beat, I'm not gonna beat the game.

going back to ebf3 and replaying it while waiting for ebf5 reminded me of how great this game was, a rocking soundtrack, especially for the final boss, not to mention how fun it is playing through epic difficulty and finally beating the final boss after your long journey getting there. truly epic

Great game EXCEPT for the lack of auto save functionality... It reminds me of the (not-so-funny) times in the 90s where you had to remind to save your game in order not to loose your progress if you made a mistake. Yes, save functionality is great: when you have to choose between which skills to upgrade or what to sell or to buy, you save your game in order to have a "checkpoint". But having to remember to save during the game is really irritating...

The game is too slow paced to keep me interested. Every fight is tedium in waiting for the slow animations to occur, walking around is slow, and doing anything is slow. It's not a frame-rate issue.

I'd like to celebrate the like 4th time this is the BoTD by saying that EBF5 is apparently 95% done. EBF5 for Best of 2019! As for this game, my only criticisms are that 1. to access the final medal room you need to have ALL THE MEDALS. How about we need all but two? Sound good? 2. If poison kills the last foe in a wave, the next wave gets a free turn. Annoying as hell. 3. That's it. That's quite literally all of it. EBF4 improves upon this, but this game is already so amazing.

Played this before and got the hard badge. I really like the game except in one thing, most of weapons/armor are just a collection, most of them are not really need to be used during battles. I mean maybe like 80% of weapons / armor are just a simple decoration.

making me replay the forest for the easy badge, huh? as if i haven't already played through this game enough times. (epic sure was excrutiatingly tough.) still, better than playing the EBF4. i don't know how you managed to mess that one up, but ya did.

Hello developer, so I was fighting a monster called Beholder (you know the one from the volcano zone or whatever is called) and ONE of it's attacks made me want to ask "WHAT THE F**K" so...…………..yeah plz answer, I want to know what the hell is going on with this enemy.
