Love the use of matoya's cave on the opening menu. very nice choice of song. The final fantasy influence is pretty much the biggest factor here.

Best stock of pots to get from first shop: 5 potions, 2 max potions, 3 ethers, 1 max ether, 7 antidotes, 4 WOLs, 3 attack potions, 3 magic potions, and 2 bombs. You will have nothing left over, but use them wisely, as you only have $7K for the other shop.

Uh, what's implied when that weird tentacle creature from the second stage walks up to you, a giant censored box appears over you're character, and a heart appears in it's speech bubble? O_o

Here's a hint to the new players: Use the life draining sword on weaker enemies to reserve life in-between boss fights. Then use Demon's Sunrise to gain magic (it gives you about 500 Mp/hit), and then spam Power Metal, since it heals you and hurts the bad guys. This saved me a LOT of items. Don't waste antidotes on poison; save them for Seal on the later enemies.

Fighting the final boss on Epic difficulty, was down to Matt with 882 health and no items... Figured I was screwed anyway, so I threw in one last Seiken. Apparently that was just enough to win. EPIIIIC!

It's always the best classic game on Kongregate. Especially it has characters and music from video games and some anime.

Just so everyone knows, the Zombie Boss (Which is actually a Zombie Goku) is the Final Boss. (Protip: Spam Seiken and Judgement)+ So others know.

Although I take some time for fun, for play on hard, I loved! It is very simple and dont has saved, but still fighting style of Final Fantasy and characters are captivating is a highly recommended game, now I'm on the 2 sequels, Imagine will be much better;)
Any apparent bugs have, not only lacks features like stores, but from then on everything very well.

I love this game.It takes me back to the old classic Final Fantasy series.And the challenge of no savepoints makes it more hard and (in my case) better.Still could use badges,tho.4/5,+fav

The start of what would turn into a an amzeing RPG series my how you have grown! Dude I know you dont even read comments but are you a game programmer as an actual occupation because I just fineshed your third one on a diffrent account and its really good 5/5! For the entire series.

Wow, quite an awesoeme game.
It englobles well known characters and skills from known animes and game as well as battle/boss musics.
Shame it doesn't as a save game, that's a minus, but still, great game nontheless!

no save button, no upgrading, after regiice and registeel why are they together, and if they are, why put stuff after without a shopping break. dont get me wrong, it still a 4/5

epic game though, but for even better graphics skills leveling up and everything else, play epic battle fantasy 3. Its the best one yet!!!

Awww... We need badges for this!! Awesome game, great storyline, good diversity in weapons, skills, almost everything is great. 5/5, and if I could I'd give it a 6/5. Only drawback is the save button. That is.... there is no save button. xDD
