This game was quite fun, tho it did feel a tad short. Perhaps have some sort of grinding map markers for fighting neutral monsters or something?

Great, small enjoyable game. I hope to see a sequel or something that contains more upgrades per unit, or your choice of armour and weaponry. 5/5

Wow, I think this is one of the best games I've played on kongregate this year! I would improve by adding more characters ( make more than one melee, calvary, and ranged. and I guess a few more mage types). Add a few more attributes, upgrades, quests, and territories. I hope you save that for the sequel though :)

Ok I've tryied twice now and I still can't get my stats to increase I loose every battle. Game's is either broken or needs better instructions. as 2/5

well, all that i can say is, nice concept, enjoyable, good for 20 min of enjoyment, but besides that, it just semes to be over too quickley, prehaps, like after you kill the king, you have an option to continue, and you fight more towns, getting stronger, untill the point whare the oponents are like 500 stats, and same with you, because it just seames too short, or make the king like a god and you only have one shot if you wint he tourny, fail and its back to the tourny to get stronger
say, the king him self have like 1.5k hp his guards around 1k, the preiest around 800, so its more of a challenge, that way you wont win on your first battle with him, this will both make the game longer, and more enjoyable,
4/5, good concept and its new, but needs to be longer

I like the game style for this game but I dunno. I feel it was a bit lacking in depth and execution. You end up with so much candy or whatever that training resource is and money that it just becomes a mindless exercise in grinding easy as quests and training your dudes. No hard decisions about team comp either, just get 4 heroes and your good to go. Maybe you can make a King's League 2 and ramp up the difficulty. Make it so that you can actually screw up and have to restart. Maybe have different difficulty levels and more variety so that you actually have to make a good decision. The upgrades were all very easy to obtain aswel. I think they should possibly cost training points so it makes it a bit more of a difficult decision. IDK just too linear, please make a second one because I believe this is the blueprint for a very good game.

like it, 2 complaints, too short and too easy, maybe have oponents in later seasons improve by samll amounts to make them a tiny bit more vhallenging also make more territories to conquer i had them all by the end of year 1 and it got kinda boring to level my units through quests

Great game! I agree it was too short! I wanted to keep playing and developing my characters.
If you were to make a sequal it would be great if:
-It is a little more clear what "class" a toon is; especially once you start getting the unique ones
-A few more training and development options
-Possible pay for level up (had tons of cash by the time I completed the game)
Possibly, with respect to intellectual property and unique game design, Kairosoft has some great game elements that could inspire some new features in a sequal!
Thanks for a great production!

Yes, this is really fun. And still haven't seen the cleric special character, but I don't mind haven't something that's rare, makes it cooler when you find. But ... I do think that if you happen to be going around again in season 2 (maybe because you were waiting for that cleric and hoarding your upgrades), I'd consider some dynamic way to adjust difficulty. There was literally no challenge. All my opponents seemed reset to level 0, while I had unique characters at level 5. The quests were a push-over too. I was just waiting for the game to end, at that point. Also, as someone else mentioned -- is the Boxing training there to punish people who are poor at math?
Thanks for your feedbacks! Noted.
Regarding the training + and ++ doesn't mean +1 point and +2 points after training.
The + used as an indication to tell players which stats the training will add up in scale, not number. But thanks for highlight this to us, if there is a sequel, we will use better symbols or method so that players wont get confused.
Again, thank you for playing The King's League :D

Awesome game. You can beat it on the first season if you get the starting knight, 2 archers, and Whitney together as soon as possible then replace the starting knight with Bowen.
Two things though: I got to the point where the game was super easy and I had 100K food and gold, but I wasn't able to find the 2 other uniques. The second thing is that sometimes your guy doesn't upgrade even after you trained him.
Overall a very fun little game you have here. If you expanded the game and added new features I'm sure it would be very popular

Brilliant game 5/5. One slight bug with not being able to recruit about 3/4 through...but still one of my fave games on this site because of the originality.

Never ever EVER use boxing training, it is a waste, for the same food and time you can get more by doing 1 gym and 1 archery.

An all round awesome concept, the only small issue I have with it, is if you fail to make 1st place in the first season by the second season you're way more powerful then anyone else and it's easy to get to the last round with the king. However I found the King to be a good match I had to train more to beat him.
If the enemy was just able to put up a bit more of a fight in the second season i think it'd be perfect.

I beat the king on the first season, but got a lower rating than if I had lost a league match. Not getting many wins/fame/unique characters seems to hurt your score more than winning early, which is kind of weird.

I love that game, it's the type that you can play all day and not getting bored. I lover those who thinks of those game!

Love the game, very fun as others have said. One thing I think could be interesting, if you consider a sequel, would be random attacks on controlled territories that causes you to lose them if you lose that fight. Maybe they can be a little harder than it was to take over the territory as an extra challenge, as long as they aren't too frequent to get in the way of quests and training.

This game is brilliant! Love the game! But as many people have probably said, it's a lil short :( Great game though, never felt like I was grinding to level, haha

"we have captured the entire kingdom! what shall we do sir?" "we shall wait for the league to be over to beat up the 90 year old king" "isn't that a little harsh? we already own the land...." "SHUT UP AND DO WHAT I SAY"

The 5th unique character is Craig. He comes after the second season, and wait about a month and a half for him to come. Don't fight the king until you see the question mark on the map, and hired Craig.
