Also I disagree with Lhac96 plus RemiM4 if you choose standard sail, the blast Cannon and rammer have musketeers, oarsman and cannon Smith it is far to easy to beat the enemy large ships or small, even the kraken takes less then 5 min. I have the standard cannon balls maxed and used nothing else to win. In fact I even believe the special stuff is useless such as the weapons, although the special units in the tavern are good or so they seem, I'd still prefer what I already have since it works way to well even on the hardest difficulty with just one death due to my carelessness.

I'd rate this game a 7/10 it was pretty average. It did have me stuck to it till I finished the game as it should, although there are very things to do and is very repetitive but was fun. I suggest playing on the hardest difficulty without the hardcore mode to make it even slightly challenging since it's a easy game to beat.

Hmm... Has to agree with RemiM4: waste a lots of resources to make perfect ship for you and gets still "wasted" yourself anyway! Maybe should use those special "Upgrade$$" to beat the Bosses and doing so would support future versions of this good game. Game production does NOT come cheap - I know that from personal experience. Upgrades could also include a few more ships to sail - like in the Pirateers 1. Did play the original (and still the BEST) Pirateers and loved it! One other improvement would be "Keyboard Freedom": you could configure your own keyboard layout, like for left hand mousers WASD -> HUJK, crew handling 1/2/3 -> Z/X/C and quests to "top". Still: enjoys "wasting time" with this AND playing the "Original".

The tutorial's pacing is waaaay off. Let me familiarize with what you just explained before jumping to the next thing. I'm here to play, not to be thrown instructions at nonstop. Sorry but I'm logging off of this one.

No crashes. Just have to change the left click to fire cannon, right clicking in a flash game causes problems. Use arrow keys to steer the ship and mouse to fire and collect loot. Needs badges.

Keyboard controls stop working so you're forced to only use the mouse. This is not conducive to quick maneuvering. Please fix this issue. I'm using Firefox, as I would never even THINK of using Google Chrome for ANYTHING.

So... Developer Response for the two guys praising the game, but the one with constructive criticism and twice as many upvotes gets radio silence? Hmm...

Uh. Can you make difficulty increase? Like... if you defeat King's ship (or King's blimp) the navy appear more often, they travel in small groups and so

I really, really want to like this game, but honestly I just can't get on with it. Nearly evetry mission I try im dead within under a minute. Even after upgrading, there doesn't seem to be much change. Decided to get the carpenterupgrade for ship repair only to realise it is a premium feature. I'm all for donating towards people to support their game, but given the poor upgrading and general difficulty to muster any gold unless its attackign several merchants or treasure hunt, the rest just seems too drawn out. The enjoyment turns to frustration far too quickly.
