we can use useful status debuffs on the bosses. thank you for that, you have no idea how much that little change means to me as an RPG fan. for once, leveling a debuffer is completely worthwhile.

I renamed D to Dargon and for some reason he got the skill "End Boss I". It's the Dargon's meteor skill. Is this a bug? I've done this name before and that never happened.

A well thoughtout rpg. However the equipment upgrading system is just plain tedious and gets annoying and repetitive post-dargon.

I am glad that you included out of battle heal using spells its so much easier to keep my party in good health with that.

I like it how you bring back the old characters from the first game. I like the character designs, The storyline and even the backrounds. Deserves a 5/5

IceDemon94... Yes and no. Yes in that the team did do a lot (a whole lot more than initially planned, at that) of work to disrupt Rita's plans, and all of it went to some idiot. No in that... well, the team agreed from the outset that credit would go to him, and well... seeing as all it took was a little slap to knock him out in the first game, having him be playable doesn't really seem like an option.

anyone else mad that all the hard work that they did in the last game went to the guy that was knocked out for 75% of the game? And wasn't even playable?

The only thing i have a problem with is that when you skip the cut scene and then the one after it you will skip the naming process. Can you make it to when you skip the cut scenes it will bring you to the naming process?

Things to improve in the next game:
- menus (better looking menus gfx and notifications when u have new items/skills availabe)
- better tutorials (an interactive tutorial with blinking notifications would be nice)
- better overall gfx (your gfx are realy dated even for a 2D RPG and those pixelated outlines hurt my eyes)
- better animations (enemy animations and death animations to start with)
- better spell effects
- better level gfx (your levels look like they are some rectangles put together in a board game)
Dude, take no offense, you need some critics too. There are a ton of JRPG on here, just check out a few of them and see what they did right. Good luck with your next project.

Hmm... this is pretty bad. Very poor graphics, levels are very linear and boring, enemies have NO animations, the menu is ugly, the story is uninteresting, the talent system is linear and offers no skill customization. It is very bad even by 90s 16bit JRPG standards. You should definitely invest in a graphic designer/animator for your next project and make an interactive tutorial. No one uses picture tutorials anymore. Also, if you want to make a branch talent system, make sure you give the player multiple branches to choose from otherwise it's just a useless mechanic.

Great game, and I have to say...I'm impressed. Mechanics are occasionally buggy, but overall it's a really good sequel. Keep the great work up!

I enjoyed it a lot. Only issue I had was a white screen when I entered the Icy Cave (reloading the game fixed it). A lot of production value for a flash game. Thanks for making it!

@kai1111111: Why bother correcting yourself when you you spelled "other" wrong when you're just going to use a word like "spelt" which is even worse than your first misspelling.... The word you were looking for was "spelled" not "spelt" (which is not a word....)

Just letting the creator no about something that saddened me: in the second area medium forest I went into an area on the left with nothing other than 2 trees off to the left of the center being a fan of adventure RPGs my first thought was "oh there's nothing here other than two center room trees better press space on them to see what happens!" (after pressing space) in the blink of an eye a blank gray screen with an exclamation mark in the middle! :( (note that this also happened to 2 of the adverts at the same time) please if you have the time could you find out if this is a bug. but over than that A great game! :)

The bestiary on the wiki says this about Slime Queen's second phase: Did you poke her in the face? My response is: I did indeed poke her in the face with swords, scythes, knives, bullets, and magics.

Group-cast skills should still need you to click on the party's or foes general area, because I ended up accidentally clicking Attack Down All when the boss already had attack down.

what a nice and elaborated rpg you have created here. nothing overpolished, but with good gameplay and well-thought upgrade system. fav'ed it :) (btw, is it just my manga-diluted thinking, or does marie looks like she is about to say:"raku-sama I love you!!!1!" ?)

The save should save where you are in the dungeon. Not like saving inside Cave Floor 2 then when you come back and start the game you start at the map and you need to do it all over again. Improve This pls
