Creative day three. Everything is over 999 including the smog. Seconds feel like hours, hours feel like days. There's nothing outside but the smell of fried 20 foot tall alien eyeballs, and I have no clue what is left in the stores. If only we had learned to count past 999. My world is now purple smog and tesla coil explosions, yet I feel perfectly safe surrounded by hundreds of nuclear plants. Send sriracha, All we have to eat is eyeball and corn. k bye.

Like if you want water, as in hydropower, bioconversion, extended storyline, actual buildings where people live in to support the population, able to attach solar panels to buildings, and of course, a MAPMAKER.

If you make a sequel, PLEASE allow us to upgrade our farms! I can control my smog output in all other sectors but the farms are killing me!

I think it would be awsome if you could plant grass seeds so you can help the farmers. 5/5 also all time favorite game. rate up if you agree with any of this. (Also rate up if you think there should be a third).:)

With regards to Challenge #5.. During the first day, either focus on Flamethrower and Nuclear Power, or mix Machine guns in the Flamethrower and go with Natural Gas Plants. Because the Spawns are random, should 2 or more "Vehicle" Zombies show up, just restart the level and try again, and hope only 1 (or better yet, none) shows up, because you won't have enough resources to stop them. Disable the Coal Plant (demolishing it just wastes time as your Garbage Trucks need to keep collecting the basic wastes) and get some Labs up and running asap. If you survive to Day 2 WITHOUT losing any buildings then keep increasing your defenses and Energy until you can mix in Teslas. With enough firepower, even larger Zombies will be taken down, but again if multiple Vehicular Zombies show up (and you're unable to destroy them) consider restarting.. Luck is a huge factor for this one, unfortunately. :/

Luckily upgrades carries over levels so at level 9 it is possible to built many testa coils without energy running out.

what about human infantry so you can send them to some areas they move to that location and clean up and kill the zed (not at the same time of couse)

I want to upgrade the fortress! Seems like a useless building in terms of resources; it just sits there, consuming energy and producing waste and smog.

Don't ignore the lab. A fully upgraded Natural energy plant will produce up to 168 energy and only 6.4 smog. Also switching your gas type will GREATLY reduce smog. A oil type Garbage truck will produce 6.4 per each. A natural gas while produce 0.28 fully upgraded.

Got stuck in a loop at level 8. Dialogue restarts when it starts/ends the second night. Resets the level. I'm sure I'm not losing.

Seems more about how quickly you can key all the commands, and less about thinking ahead and planning a strategy (is that ironic, given the theme?). Sandbox challenges, I'm looking at you. If we could pause and still place items (like creeper world), it would be great.

I love the game, but I really really wish that there wasn't a 999 limit for power. It's extremely frustrating when my production of energy during the day doesn't carry over to the night when I use loads of spotlights.
I understand that this prevents spotlight spamming, but I wish there was a battery building you could buy to circumvent that. A natural limitation for that would be the amount of metal you have, preventing total spotlight spam. But this 999 limit makes solar almost meaningless for defending with spotlights.
I also like the idea of reducing smog by planting trees, as Telapoopy quoted woodchuck308. That would make it much more flexible in terms of using fossil fuels. But I suppose that may defeat the point of renewables...

I thought crops reduce smog, because they are plants(well, they are not tree, but still)
Are they feeding farting cows just for meat even when they are starving to death?
So, a farm produce 2 smog, when a N. gas engine truck produce 10% of that?
