@Istentelen: Dude first off the heat plants do NOT make the most energy, the coal plants do. Secondly, if you were willing to accept zombies appearing seemingly for no reason in a post-apocalyptic wasteland who magically speak English, are civilized and use radio waves as a form of telepathy why is it too much that a geothermal plant makes no smog? No duh in real life it makes some smog, but comparitively none when put against a coal plant. It would've been pretty hard to explain all that in-game to players without them saying who the hell cares?

Awsome song at the end, not to mention the good story, and gameplay. A little laggy even on low quality, but too cool not to finish. Sequal? 5/5

Last challenge: 1) build oil rig 2) destroy coal plant 3) build 2 nat gas plants 4) get research going and upgrade your nat gas plants ASAP 5) get metal mining going 6) get your cleanup crews going, make sure you upgrade recycling to tier 2 so you can get nat gas out of the food trash. The rest you should be able to handle.

I don't understand why the heat plants give the most energy. The nuclear should, since irl it produces about 20 times more power than a thermal plant. Also a geothermal power plant is irl a normal steam plant that boils thermal water, wich costs much less energy than to boil cold water. So it uses resources and produces smog too, just less than a normal plant.
Btw did someone try the last level on hard mode? It's really brutal! If you can miraculusly survive the first night - wich is almost impossible - the rest of the game will be not that hard, if you manage your resources correctly. But you will have HUGE battles, with thousends (not kidding!) of zombies!!!

I was going to give it 4/5, but then I heard the end song, and I upped it to 5. More games should have stuff like this! Take notice of Super Energy Apocalypse and Burn the Rope, developers!

For Challenge 5; just first throw down a oil/ngas well, with 2 NGAS Power Plants. than build 3 metal mines, a land fill, factory, build up 2-3 labs. also, depending on how much food you have, i suggest building 3 farms, on the green slots. it worked for me, its just a pain to have 150 extra energy for it. upgrade trucks for NGAS [3 stars] the N-Gas Plants upgrade 3 stars, and landfill to recycling. Only use the turrets, and build a lot of them around the oil well/ farms/ mines / your little town. By the time it was over i had 500+ metal, 15 garbage trucks 3 engineers, 999+ energy. BANG! Level 5 completed. It make take two or three tries, but you'll get the hang of it. Its really easy the way i did it. Just gotta start off right for it to work.

Loved the original game design and this one is even better. It has many inspiring ideas. But awful event handling always drives me away. Why must I wait for the entire mouse history to be replayed in slow motion before a click is registered? Just get the position for clicks and when rendering updates occur instead queueing missed frames. Hoping for "Super Energy Apocalypse: Recoded"

Challenge # 5 was pretty easy for me, just used gas plants to get energy. It took me forever to finish #4, that one was really hard. I thought it was virtually impossible when I tried it at first.
