This could be a great game, but everything moves a super-fast pace you don't have time to examine what you're doing. Especially in the tutorial.

i really miss icecream, cold beer and mountain dew, i also miss road trips, and central air was nice too, now the charred-lanscape's all around, and zombies stole our cars, they've got a taste for nucular waste and they ate my best friend larz... XD tis so funny to me

Part 3:Day 3 Monsters-tons of truck zombies. Strategy-Keep Bare minimum of gun turrets even if taking some damage. You should have a lot of energy anyways/repair. The Fight using previous strategy will use up all the metal and leave you screwed. Start disabling the turrets and add about 3-4 Flame Turrets close to center of base. Mad Damage, No Maintenance. Good Game. Rate the three Comments up!

Part 2 Extra energy-Garbage Truck 6Max. Easy Day Smog cleared. Small Size & TruckZombies. Priority:3 Metal Mines. Max possible. If Oil well down-vital for day 3. Add 1 Farm on Green Patch. Security Blanket it. Excess Energy-> Turrets Branching out from base, Security Blanket Tactic. Truckzombies= 7 seconds of 2 Turret conc. fire. PROTECT THE MINES and OIL WELL

Repost: Proper Edit. Challenge 5 Part 1. Initial Setup: Disable Plant, 2 Nuclear Plants, 1 Nuke Dump, 1 Factory, 1 Landfill, 1 Engineer, 1 GarbageTruck(Natural Gas. 20 Seconds til, Put turrets around 4 corners of base. Make sure fortress is covered bottom&right(turrets)left(plant). Encounters: MED size monster. To kill use Security Blanket Tactic: Place 1 turret defending buildling, 2nd turret far enough to target monster attking building and 1st turret. Excess Energy 75-100. Add extra turrets when necessary using SecurityBlanket. DO NOT LET MINE FALL

Day 3: Accumulate as much metal as possible. Monsters-About 5million TruckZombies. Gun Turrets use up metal too fast and you'll run out before you know it. Start disabling turrets, keep only bare minimum even if you take some damage. You have excess energy-to repair anyways. Start setting up 3-5 Flame Turrets in strategic places, these should be close to center of base. Flame Turrets: Mad Damage, No Maintenance. Rate The Three Comments Up. GG

Fight. Add extra turrets if necessary SecBlankTactic. DO NOT LET MINE FALL. This should get you through Day 1-extra energy towards garbage trucks max(6-7) Day 2-Easy Day Smog lvl 1. Small Size & TruckZombies. Priority: Get as much metal as possible. 3 Metal Mines. If Oil well is down, make another one-important for day 3. add 1 farm on green patch. Day 2 Fight. You should have excess energy, put extra turrets branching out from your base using SecBlanket, same with Farm on green patch.Make sure Mines DO NOT FALL.

Tipp : for the last challenge , for defence: build Flamethrowers For supplies: you need to build an Oil/Gas well and defend it you need 3 or 4 windturbines too. :)

Since the trash that can be cleaned up by engineers is also the same terrain for the boundries of the area, in a sequel, engineers should be able to clean the boundry up so that you can have space that is larger than just the screen and have scrolling

Okay, Challenge 5 is too hard IMO. I breezed through the campaign, managed to do all the other four challenges in 2 or 3 tries, but I still can't even survive the first night on the fifth challenge, even after trying over ten times, and experimenting with every power source. Wind and solar produce next to no energy; coal and natural gas emit smog, making the monsters stronger (the smog already starts at 750, for christs sake); geothermal can't be used; and nuclear also doesn't quite cut it. Also, even without emitting almost any smog, the smog is at 500-ish when night comes, making the monsters really strong. Either there's some super strategy I haven't discovered yet, or the challenge is almost impossible.

if there are super energy apocalypse 3 it would have:solar power will now do better in terrains ,turrets will cost no metal while firing,water sprayer cleans wasteland but cost 200,laser turrets,fort upgrade will shoot metal,gunpowder for missile turrets,missile turrets. + if you want this for the new version

that well... who will save me from this living hell wich nature's wrath has made? so we cranked our floodlights to the max while zombies dined on garbage sack's i really hope well come toto grips... with the super energy apocalypse. flourescent bulbs save energy if you don't mind the mercury we recycle all of our debris to stem the tide of the decay
we built our windows facing north to save us from the xenomorph our engineers all venture forth that we might live another day then the zombies sang a catchie song it went : trash, trash, trash, trash yum yum yum then we fried them with our flame turrets in the super energy apocalypse ... the End

Now the charred-out landscape's all around and zombies stole our cars. they've got a taste for nuclear waste and they ate my best friend lars. now the turbine blade spins in the breeze reminding my of shady trees. our trucks drain food until they stall, because they run on ethanol! so we scan the screen for radar blips... there's hostiles out at thirthy clicks!

remember new houston! and new thermopalyae! new texas shines like the old one! just with more weaponry! now the oil derrick's running low! and the telsa coil, it charges slow! it seems there is no place left to go... as the daylight slowly fades... so i built a solar voltaic cel, but at night it doesnt work

This game is awesome, make another one to continue the storyline. 5/5, probably in the top three games in kongregate.
