I want to upgrade the fortress! Seems like a useless building in terms of resources; it just sits there, consuming energy and producing waste and smog.

Also, loved the concept.
Though more types of power, conversion/recycle, plants, wells, etc. would have been welcomed.
A mapmaker would've been great as well.

This game should be played in schools - way more fun to teach kids to clean up garbage in order to fight off zombies rather than to "save earth". Too big a concept, make them kill four-legged eyes with the energy they have saved!

How to deal with challenge 5:
1、Day 1
(1)Build a oil field,a natural gas plant,3 metal mines and 5 Labs.
Then SHUT DOWN the useless coal plant.
(2)When you have enough research points,upgrade the gas plant first(at least level2)
(3)Build some farms, a factory and a landfill, build some tracks and replace oil fuel with natural gas.
(4)Build some flamethrowers and wait for night. You can pass the first day easily.
2、Day 2
(1)Build some Nuclear plants , upgrade them to level 3 and shut down the gas plant
(2)Build some engineers and a nuclear waste depot
(3)Replace the flamethrower with Tesla Coil in order to get high score
Pollution can reduce your score :(
If everything is OK, there is nothing to do but wait for success

The end song is cool. "...in the Super Energy Apocalypse." And a mapmaker would be a good idea, after making a map, we can submit it so other Kongregate players can try to beat it.

The concept is great an very well integarted into the gameplay. But the campagn is underdeveloped and the levels go too fast. It would have been great if the waves were at longer times so one can properly develop and fight. Thus 4 stars from me. This is more a strategy game then tower defence. The concept coud be extended beyond limits in a eventual sequell.

Normally I'd rate a game like this only two or three stars because the plot is twisted around a moral message (one that I agree with, but I hate all moralizing games). Then the ending song played.

Surivvor2: Well, we have some corns and wheat for cow feed, do you want some?
Survivor1: YOU CALL THAT FOOD? EWWW! ARE THOSE EVEN EDIBLE? IM NOT GOING TO EAT THAT.

I thought crops reduce smog, because they are plants(well, they are not tree, but still)
Are they feeding farting cows just for meat even when they are starving to death?
So, a farm produce 2 smog, when a N. gas engine truck produce 10% of that?

I think it would be awsome if you could plant grass seeds so you can help the farmers. 5/5 also all time favorite game. rate up if you agree with any of this. (Also rate up if you think there should be a third).:)

2/5 Good game... after first several waves. which for me were so ridiculously hellish it stripped two stars. and the inventory is nice and cluttered, so it takes 5 seconds to replace a lost building.

Ideas for sequel: Water, still and flowing, to drink and farm. Water Treatment Plant gets water, uses more energy per pollution. Hydroelectric Plant gets energy but reduces water flow. Rain replenishes bodies of water but turns smog into water pollution. Acid rain. Electrolysis Station uses energy to turn water into pure oxygen (dilutes smog) and hydrogen fuel (good for flame turrets, worse than electric vehicles). Enrichment Station, uses Nuclear Waste to turn Hydrogen into Deuterium for Fusion Plants. Antimatter Plant, uses energy to destroy unrecyclable junk.
