I have tried several approaches and cannot survive the first night of level 8. Normally I'm loathe to cry foul, but that level is either impossible, or has far too precise a solution.

All together a very fun game.
But, the no save feature really bugs me.
I think this would be a great game with some more added features like medals, etc...

I remember this when I was playing all the JIG games. I loved this one just as much as The Last Canopy. Good job. 5/5 and favorited, albeit it wasn't really a casual game as it was supposed to be in the competition :P

4/5, very good game, one of the better Flash RTS's I've seen. The somewhat simple graphics are more than balanced out by the intricate strategy aspect.
I do have the same critique about repairing/building during attacks that others have mentioned. Especially during lvl 8, almost impossible to do anything at night as messages kept resetting whatever I was trying to do. Also, unless I missed it, since all Power Plants require energy to build, if you lose all plants and energy during an attack, there's no way to recover the next day. One minor bug with no game impact, on the lvl 8 death message, which I saw a lot of, the Dr.'s message box says "Title of scene" or something similar instead of the chapter.

Pustulio, click on the upper right hand corner of the factory in that situation- you should still be able to click on it. Sorry about that problem! Can you log a bug report for me so I can fix it in the next version?

When engineers have nothing to do they park on my factory. They prevent me from building garbage trucks. Very unfair.

Hm, nice idea, well made, and there is still potential for expansion :) 5/5
The only problem I had was that the game became nearly uncontrolable due to lag in lvl 8 :/ And you can have negative energy (which causes problems with the display). Repairing also give me quite a headache - shouldn't stop if you are out of energy (or remember the repairorder).
Maybe a scenarioeditor would be also nice.

only one problem, when the things attack it is impossible to repair your fortress becuase they stand on it and even if you do click it it instantly undoes this to tell yuo repairs are needed

People were complaining that the game was very, very, easy. This is a new rebalanced version with a lot of bug fixes, and retooled difficulty.

I gave it a 5/5. It's quite a bit different from other games of its type, the levels are great, and the option of playing open-endedly in sandbox mode is the icing on the cake that gets it the extra star. Plus, it's neat how the message is so tightly integrated into the gameplay that you don't have to beat people over the head with it in the story. Of course, I haven't seen the whole story yet... but anyway, great game.

This is truly unbelievably good. Like real-life-shippably good. It's balanced, engaging, easy to control, stressful, emotional... I need to borrow some stars so I can give it more than 5.

This is a truly amazing RTS considering it was designed by a single developer in Flash. Fantastic job! The beginning is a little hectic, but the later bits are great!

wow, a lot of thought was put in this game, simple graphics but a lot better than any strategies here, let's await badges :)
