The Fishwich seems incredibly weak. I just unlocked it and its healing less than 0.5% of my health a tick. Unless it scales very strongly later, it might be a good idea to make it a %Heal or increase the base value if you want to keep it a flat value.
As it stands, its just a total waste of forging charges compared to the other options.

Moving through all the tabs in the interface is pretty annoying, that tied with the game only really updating your progress when you actually go to a tab means you have to cycle through things for almost no reason. I like the attempt at complexity, I dislike how shallow it really ends up being, with annoying Gui to hinder the player, rather than clever mechanics.

Update later tonight will fix non-active Screens. You will get 50% rewards from all non-active screens, and will no longer have to wait 6 minutes to get them. If you leave a screen for 5 seconds, when you go back, you will get 2.5 seconds of idle progress. Thank you all for the feedback, and I hope you all enjoy when it goes live later tonight!

Clicking still shouldn't be added. If you limit clicking and make it very powerful, it will only introduce babysitting, where players are encouraged to often check on the game to click. If clicks have short cooldowns, players now need to constantly babysit to click. Both also encourage 3rd party automation. Making clicking limited and weak, will basically make it pointless. There are also a lot of screens where clicking could be a thing, which would be tedious. If clicking has to be introduced, the only workaround is to eventually allow clicking to be fully automated in-game.

Am I missing something, or does the game not save? At least it didn't save to my Kongregate account which meant I couldn't keep the progress I'd made at the office when I went home after.

This game is way too slow, unfortunately all the things you mentioned in response to other comments about it, do not seem like they will be effective.

I feel like there's a good amount of content, but the 15% non active kills me. I already refuse to play games that won't allow the player to progress unless the window is up and is the active tab in the browser, this is just an artificial barrier forced on the player to "gate" their progress when the gameplay should do that already.
Theres a discussion on the discord about this... My plan as of this message is to give everyone a 30% non-active rate, and have it go up by 5% every ascention (maybe to a max to 75%)

Please don't add clicking to the game. It's going to be super difficult to do it well with so many screens, it will promote auto-clickers, and Flash tends to lag when clicking a lot.
Dont worry, I have never been a fan of clicking. My earlier mention of clicking would be something thats REALLY powerful, but you can only do it every few seconds or few minutes, that way auto clickers are useless and there is no lag

This game is insanely slow. Let me click to progress like your old one or double the speed things happen at a minimum. (with further speed up grades available later)
I'll look into a way to add clicks into the game, thx for the feedback! Maybe I'll have clicks do damage, but limit attacks/sec and make the clicks more significant (I'm not a big fan of excessive clicking)

THis is like 8 games in 1, but each game is very slow, so why is there not 100% progress on all screens at all times?! Everything requires gold so it is crucial that we are getting gold in the background at all times.

----------------------------------------------------------------------- Many people are getting confused by this: These bonuses are given EVERY h20 LEVEL. So if you have +5% str for example, you multiply this number by your H20 level. At H20 level 15, this bonus would actually give +75% str.

The 15% thing doesn't work quite well. Sometimes I'll go to a screen and it says 17 minutes have passed, yet I was out for 5. Sometimes it doesn't compute at all.
It's a temporary fix--I did the best i could in the 2 hours I had to work on the game yesterday! I think I have a solution that will make the whole thing work really well, and will be working on it later today!

actual way to farm, get the idle attack speed increase, it causes you to hit before an enemy can attack at spawn meaning if kill is guaranteed you take no damage, its the left top talent for sword, it looks like three swords

Glacially, agonisingly slow. Maybe this gets more interesting or engaging after the initial attempts at building momentum, but driving people away with insurmountable tedium beforehand may not be the motivational tool of choice.

Is the speed upgrade working properly? It seems like the number is getting hire but the gains aren't coming any faster. After 10 speed I'm only getting gains and level ups if I focus another menu tab for a long period of time and switch back to att/str/end menus.

Honestly even with the 15% progress is going incredibly slow. You have to baby the in a very uninteresting way (switching screens) otherwise you won't be making any progress. I would bump up the background and balance accordingly rather than forcing us to switch screens again and again - that isn't active play, it's babying. Also the animations make moving around slow.

Where do I see how much crafting material I have? Seems like that should absolutely be on the smithing screen somewhere.

Very interesting game so far. Will have to see what the end game entails. hopefully a lot o stuff you can do. Would recommend you give it a shot (or at least make a profile and idle on a skill so if at some point you come back you get some fat GAINS)

ok... instead of armor to reduce the incoming damage, there is food you can forge... this heals you a little bit every 1-2second - this way you can farm gold a little bit longer

you cant "idle-farm" lower enemies because they still do the same damage and you still have to heal yourself to farm gold..... need fourth stat: armor - to reduce the incoming damage

I saw you were planning to fix this with a 10% for everything else thing, gold needs to be constant, this game will be unplayable if doing anything else stops gold production. This game is currently unplayable because leveling stops gold production
You can earn gold with the smithing skill. The first "Money Every Minute" Upgrade appears at smithing level 20. And will give 30 gold/minute for every time you upgrade it. There are 4 of these upgrades across the 8 tiers of Smithing, so you can get quite a lot!-----------------------------------------------------------EDIT: Also, alternate gold sources (where you dont have to be active on that screen) gives me ideas for future content :)

There's a lot to do in this game, but you can only do one thing at a time, and everything takes way too long. It gets boring very fast.

For now, this game only saves locally. This means if you MANUALLY clear your cache, you will lose your save. This is not the game's fault, and your computer will not do this on its own. If you are prompted elsewhere to clear your cache, just know that doing so *will* delete your save. While the game has no in-game import/export save button yes, I have made a forum post on a way you can manually import/export a save!

I would really love some tooltips popping up when I hover over stuff instead of having to click everything to see what they do.
Hover-over doesn't work on mobile (unless phones have some sort of air sensor haha), and I dont have the time to code a different version for web/mobile (I currently use the same code for each). However, I will keep this in mind, and try to display AS MUCH info as i can without having to click!

It's been a long road to release, but it's finally here! I've spend the better part of 5 months making this game, and plan on continuing development with content update every two weeks, so there is plenty more on the horizon for Idle Skilling!
If you have any suggestions for the game, please let me know! I want to make this game as good as it can be, and community feedback is a very important part in that!
