trial and error: CIRCLE jumps high, far, floats on water, can go up ramps, TRIANGLE can swim under water by using left-up-right arrows (or drop by doing nothing), can't jump at all, and SQUARE can jump but not as high or far as circle (lvl 2!!), drops faster under water (making it harder to move left-right), can kill other squares by jumping on top of them.

Yeah, sorry, but this game is just plain bad. The hitboxes are messed up making it easy to touch spikes or for the character to go crazy when they touch a corner. And that final boss's hitbox is incredibly hard to hit, especially with the "evil triangle".

Without vast amounts of trial an error is is nigh impossible to figure out what you can and can't do with each character, as mentioned by others the hitboxes are off in so many parts. This could be good good, but it lacks many needed elements of a good game as it stands 1/5.

I've definitely seen worse games here. There are three characters with distinct abilities you can use in different situations, plus music is great. A big minus is the lack of instructions, some people have an especially hard time figuring that triangle can swim up, and I only worked out how to kill squares when I tried jumping around them ten times and accidentally chose square. Maybe try slowly introducing each character next time, with a level requiring to learn the new mechanic before progressing to the harder levels which mix abilities. Still a 4/5 for effort, idea, and not being another fricking idle game on kong.

good game. though the lack of instructions can be frustrating. some of the larger levels could also use checkpoints. having to restart large a level because the only way to learn the rules is trial and error sucks. the weak point on the final boss needs to be larger.

The hit boxes can be frustratingly bad in places, especially in the boss fight. Even after I understood what needed to happen, it took many, many attempts to find a reliable method of hitting the target without appearing to hit the target, but dying instead. Stand on the middle platform as the circle, where the boss stops moving and switches direction. Jump before the boss gets there, land on the button when the boss has more or less stopped moving. Repeat for the second phase, hitting D at the apex of your jump to hit the button as the right shape. Repeat again for the third phase, hitting S at the apex of the jump. If the boss movement pattern doesn't extend past the top platforms, run into the boss to try for a more favorable pattern

@Hamburglar4: to kill the boss you have to jump on top of it (hit the little red button on top) while being the same shape as the boss (so when the boss is a circle, you have to be a circle when you hit the red button on top, etc.).

Heads up everyone, you can swim up with the triangle by pressing the jump button. You don't have to flappy-bird your way through lvl 2 by switching between triangle and circle real fast.

For anyone having trouble with level 2, the triangle can swim just by hitting the jump button, no character switches needed.

I feel like this game has so much potential for a longer, more interesting adventure, but it is held back by a few issues. The lack of instructions make a few moments unintuitive, the hit boxes sometimes feel off, and the graphics have a few nice details but could stand to be smoother and more complex. The music is probably the best part. Some of the uses for the swapping mechanic and how each character can be utilized, however, lend for a few good moments of strategizing and puzzle-solving, and there are a lot of ways where they could be used to create complex puzzles, and even moments where players could use different strategies with different characters to overcome a challenge. If you put more into the polish and content, you could have a really nice game. :3

I have finished the second level after some practice. In order to go under the spikes, I use the triangle and switch it to a ball at the very bottom, when the triangle is about 50% off the screen. The ball mode is there for just an instant, I immediately switch back to triangle.

Without some sort of guidance, the second level seems to be impossible. I figured out that ball floats, triangle sinks, and square sinks faster. But going under the row of spikes can;t be done. You either hit the bottom, or as a ball rise to quickly, so you can't control going through.
Also, as a square you can jump on and destroy squaree enemies, but as a triangle you don't destroy triangle enemies?
The games needs some sort of in-game controls guidance, and that second level to be fixed.
