When I reloaded the game and saw myself still dead, I knew that this game was something made to be unique. I think the creator of the game truly meant you had one chance. Though we all with we could do it again, just like life, we can't redo the past.

i played this on newgrounds and something weird happened. i stayed with my family when it asked me, and the man didnt kill me when i walked to him. i didnt see the defend button. the last day my family wasnt dead; the mother was there sleeping but the daughter was gone. i went to work instead of the park, and i saw flashes of the girl when i entered. i then when upstairs and i saw by the edge "Give Up?" i decided not to and i went to work and sat down. I realized that "giving up" was probably the answer so i tried again here, only this time i saw the defend button and i failed. if someone manages to "give up" on the last day post a comment. i bet the daughter comes out to save you or something.

I knew from the start it was going to be VERY depressing, I mean, you only have 8 days to save the whole world from destruction. The ending I got *spoiler* was just me and my daughter dying on the bench together, closing our eyes and *boom* we're dead! I actually like that ending, because I at least don't die with much guilt, because at least I didn't cheat on my wife.
I love how the game is literally only "One Chance" no more turning back, no more rewinds, no undos, no edits, that's just it! That's really how life is, what you do will be there and you can't erase it no matter what you do, even if you erase it, the guilt will stay with you. Sad, but true.
This will go into my favourites, because it teaches people that life doesn't have any reset buttons, and whatever you do, it will be with you for the rest of your life, like scars. 5/5

Sadly , i have to told u guys , that in Kongregate there is no good ending , its buggued , the key to have it , its to work every day , after the wife suicide , dont go to the park , and keep working , and dont party with the chick , just WORK , but only in NewGround this ending does work , if u are frustated like me , go to there and see the "Good" ending , great game , to bad its buggued in kongregate , + so ppl can read this 5 stars

I got back to my family, the day after I went to work and didn't skip it. I just worked. When I came back my wife and daughter were sleeping and I couldn't do anything.

This game had some really interesting points, but it has so many bugs it is literally unplayable. Like when you take your daughter to the park the background just goes to white and you can't leave.

Happy endings are over-rated. The bugs are unfortunate but can be worked out in time. Any medium that engages you and makes you feel anything, good or bad, is something of a success in my book. Nice work!

I found a bug...when you to the left-most screen the background is all white (on the canvas-type BG ofc) and you can't do anything

The game is now broken. Even if you *SPOILER DONT READ FURTHUR IF YOU DONT WANNA BE SPOILED*
Work every day, Molly sticks to your back, while simultaneously being set down at the entrance, and you cannot meet the "Give up" option on the last day. It does not matter if you worked every day before that with the exception of the day the guy committed suicide. You will always get a dead John, and just realize you should have won but were cheated out of it by bad scripting.

i remember playing this game a long time ago and i've also seen people playing it, but i didn't knew one of the endings was getting killed by some asshole :\ i got stabbed on the lab..

To play the game again, right click in the game screen, choose "Settings..." and change the amount of storage to 0kb. Refresh the page and you can change it back if you please, though you'll be able to play as many times as you want as long as it's set to 0kb.

The only ''good'' ending is when you're sitting on the bench with your daughter and you both slowly fall into a slumber, a deep eternal slumber...
My god, this game is emotional and had me reflecting on my actions and choices afterwards.

there is a lot of bugs i found,but 1 of them is when 2 days till eart KABOOM i took molly to the park,i went left, adn then every thing is white!!!i coudn't do anything :(

be careful with your choices it's a perma death it's not a bug the creator made like that so it's a one chance thing like the title says
