Under rating threshold (show) I love the game. it has very much a vibe of Master of Orion behind it :-) IF there is any critique it would be that the 'sep'between easy and medium difficulty seems a bit steep. And, if Planetary Defence mechanism could be applied, it'd make life so much easier. But overall: well done indeed

Under rating threshold (show) Game is a pretty cool concept, I dig it. But you listened to too many players who wanted all these easy mode options like auto harvest, auto suppression, and recovery from asteroid belt (basically a great idea for a natural time limit), that I can see in the comments. I mean I just set things to auto harvest 20%, auto suppress at 3.7, sort planet list by distance, scout them all, seed the habitables, then crank the speed to 16, wait, and BUY all the tech points (this absolutely should not be an option) I need to win the mission. Literally no danger so far. It's too too easy. Maybe a lot of their suggs should be in the game but leave them in Easy. Might change Tech Points into each civilization gives their own type of points, so as you go on you MUST let the civs get high techs and THEN harvest them. Killing them right when they get to 5.0 is perhaps still a too easy way to harvest tech. Anyway good game and I 5 star'd/fav'd it cause I see its potential. But too much easy mode additions

Under rating threshold (show) I finally got it: In the Locust level, to get past hard mode, allow the smaller (the less profitable but grow-able) planets mid-to-distant space from you (in the original range, not upgraded) go to tech 6 or greater, auto-cull them if they are 6 or greater, but otherwise let them be so they can destroy some of the swarms (at least the ones that come their way) for you. I hope this helps someone. >.>

Yep. There was an idea to force 'game over' if you have run out of biomass and harvesters, but for some reason it was not implemented :( On easier difficulties you will have a little biomass income out of nowhere if you are short of funds though.

Under rating threshold (show) This game, with a few more updates and tweaks, has quite a large amount of potential. When I started this game, I thought it was going to be a relatively like "The Space Game," but this game is just so much more. The fact that planets can evolve to stop you makes the game more fun, and I let one planet evolve to max, just to see all the possibilities. All in all, great game. Levelrusso, you have really outdone yourself! I would really enjoy it if more games like this were uploaded more...

Under rating threshold (show) i love this game in so many ways and it pains me that the campaign is so short and bland, Im not trying to talk smack about this game because i really love it but i feel this could of been made wayy better so much potential, you could of added a battle mode where there are also AI headquarters fighting for control of the sector instead of just random constant predictable attacks or add survival mode, or even a sandbox world where players with frustrations with the game because i myself felt a little frustrated at how dynamic and challenging it can be to growing a civilization so we can practice and even enjoy the game more since we have a better idea of how to expand and grow efficiently. I hope you read my comment and take any of my un-asked for ideas and incorporate them in part 2 if you ever decide to make one lol

Hi, thanks! You can check out missions-mode (second tab in start-game window) if not already, they are pretty sandbox-ish and good for long thoughtful play. On hard, of course ;) Unfortunately I have no plans for part 2 so far. But I do for another game, [much] more challenging and weird :)

Under rating threshold (show) great game 5/5... Then the locusts happened. 5,000 Bn strong hordes ravaged my planets, turning them to wastelands. my re-seeding efforts only drew their attention, and caused my dwindling biomass reserves to drop faster. if only there were defences that could kill them as they made planetfall, or cheaper, more effective ships, or maybe the maker will bless us with a nerd to the locust swarms. As my mothership is surrounded by 25,000 Bn of the monsters, I only wish for this message to be found, to expose the sheer difficulty spike on sector 7 of my biomass journey, and to accept my fate as locust food. 3/5

Under rating threshold (show) was good up till planet/ level 7. The time required is ridiculous considering how slowly I needed to make the game to manage EACH INCOMING LOCUST. Why is there no auto-targeting system for this??!! Once a planet is stripped of biomass, where is the auto re-seeding option. Massively repetitive game flow, and lacking in intuitiveness.

Under rating threshold (show) Very good game... Problems: 1. if harvester automatically flies to just automatically pacified planet, it destroys any life there. 2. I can't make AI to send automatically something else than standard fighter or harvester. ... Solution: On the planet settings we could set the threshold for gathering (as is) and also the sort of harvester to gather and also the lower limit that should be never gathered by harvester. For pacifying we should set the threshold and the pacifying ship. The third setting could be added: setting the habitability under which it should be repaired by terraformers... Instead of good incidencec I would propose tech for its compensation: ship - planet constructors (from asteroid belts). Also, the appeared civilizations could be controlled by a ship-battle station of some level, that will destroy every their ship.

Just tried it and everything seems to be ok, upgrades are working just fine. And there are no changes related to upgrades system in the last update, so maybe you have mixed something up? If not - give me more details on how to reproduce the glitch.

Under rating threshold (show) I find it pretty annoying to have to defend my headquarter. I am really powerful and discover that a tiny civilisation has emerged close to me and sent pitiful fighters to ruin my base. Auto create fighters when attacked at close range would be fine

Under rating threshold (show) I've been playing this game for a while, and I really enjoy it. It's one of the few games that I'll come back to play every now and then. Although recently I've been toying with an idea for the game. What if the Swarm were similar to the Zerg, or the Flood? Or a Zerg-like civilization could evolve on a planet, and each new planet they conquered they would keep all of the positive traits (they would only have the new perks on the latest colonized planet, unless they sent a ship back to their old world and shared the new traits), and every time they attacked your H.Q. or destroyed one of your ship they would get a tech boost. There should be an option to make it possible for them to appear, since they'll be pretty challenging, but this is really just for the people like me who've played this for so long that they want the extra challenge.

It is nice idea, thanks! Unfortunately I don't have much time to implement too complex features in this game (since it is not successful at all and already pretty overcomplicated for portal flash game). But I wrote it down, just in case 8) Who knows how things will work out.

It had a part of current "scientific" ability, extra tech point probably. The two abilities were merged afterwards with summation of effects, so now we have only scientific one with both effects (tech point and faster evolution).

Under rating threshold (show) I have a question: I have beaten the levels and have been playing this game for a week and I still have not seen a single instance of the civillization special ability that looks like the symbol of an atom (the medium blue one next to "scientific civillization" in the tutorial window of level 5) What does that ability does and is it very rare?

This one was probably dropped during ability system balancing, you can't find it in actual game anymore. You're very observant though. I did not noticed that the icon remained in the tutorial slide.
