Somehow managed to get it done in 17 days. For all those of you struggling for the hard badge, take heart, and listen to some of the really good advice given here on the upvoted comments. I had many days at 21 or worse, and then suddenly everything clicked at once.
After the 5 foot ramp, go for the glide time award first always, and then try to get the height and distance awards both in one shot. Always buy a new glider or boosters if you can afford it.

Trick to get HARD badge. Make Heigh Reward always with Glide Reward together. In the last map 225 mph speed is worthless. Make Distance and Speed Reward Together. Use Rewards to buy fast Gliders and the first Rocket and some fuel. For heighs Ramp heigh is very important do not forget. To get distance 6000, you need last Glider and Rocket (I didn't buy the middle rocket). Max FUEL, max Ramp Height , Accelerator and Air Resistence to level 8 or 9. Put the plane Horizontally and mantain speed 150-175 to reach that distance. If you can't get rewards together you simply won't get the last badge. For max speed, put the plane horizontally and waiste all fuel. For max heigh, put the plain Vertically and waiste almost all fuel and inmediatelly put it horizontally before it ends to not lose the gliding system. When gliding down do not drop too fast and have a speed of 25-50.

Uggh I remember this game. Its really good, but getting that hard badge... My best try was 20 days. Still great game.

Tips for the hard badge:
use elderboy's hints for the first 5 days.
do achievements in pairs: height + time (generally easier to get, especially time), speed + distance.
height + time: after reaching the height limit try bending slightly towards water (you'll know that your angle is right when your speed doesn't change and altitude is dropping really slowly).
speed + distance: the best method for reaching long distances is to gain critical velocity (to unlock speed achievement) and immediately drop to 75% of it and maintaining near constant altitude and speed afterwards (with angles 2-4% and using rocket sparingly).
it's more profitable (and easier) to achieve height + time on new ramps than speed + distance on previous.
think twice before upgrading if you could save the money and buy better glider/rocket next day (caveat: if upgrading allows you to succesfully attack new achievements and gain profit then it's worth it).

It's easy to manage a time of 17 days or so if your focus on upgrading the glider as the main priority, also air resistance makes a huge difference. and try to spend as much money as you can to shave those extra days off.

This should get you started.
Day one: do nothing - earn 17 - buy acceleration 1
Day two: try to bounce twice by steering forward a bit - earn 50 - buy glider 1
Day three: hold left the entire run - height achievement - buy ramp height 3
Day 4: go the 5' slope, GET THE 5 SECOND GLIDE ACHIEVEMENT OR RESTART - buy acceleration 3
Day 5: 5' slope - fly as far as you can, earn the speed achievement

Hard challenge in 18 days: 1st 3 rnds -> do absolutely nothing. need 17 pts each rnd. day 4 shop -> buy glider. day 4 flight -> go for length. need distance accomplish. day 5 shop -> buy 2 accel. day 5 flight -> lvl 1 -> go for height/duration. need all accomplish. day 6 shop -> buy 3or4 air resist. day 6 flight -> lvl 2 -> go for height/duration. need 2 accmplish. day 7 shop -> buy rocket. day 7 flight -> lvl 3 -> go for height/duration. need accomplish. day 8 shop -> buy glider/fuel but leave $100. day 8 flight -> lvl 3 -> go for length. day 9 shop -> upgrades but leave $550. day 9 flight -> lvl 3 -> go for length. day 10 shop -> buy glider. day 10 flight -> lvl 2 -> go for length. need rest of accmplish.

on the eighteenth day on the 50 ramp... 5948... but this is a great game the second even better I

Oh mah gosh. There are people who can beat the game without even having to start it! And there are people who can finish without a single upgrade, since they beat it on the first day. smh maybe do something about them?
