I wish there's a less mind-numbing way to obtain mineral cause it's way worse than doing the leveling up thing... (Make it available to be bought as crafting material... go and make it expensive at least it's another option than hoping for random mines to show up) and it'd be nice not to have to carry everything (i.e. some kinda a locker system in town).

I would really love a better map- detailed so you can actually see the areas you've been or are heading to instead of just 'somewhere in the grasslands'. It's really annoying to have to trek all around just trying to get somewhere I haven't been before.

Things I wish I could have found in a guide: 1) The morningstar's stats are 28 power, 3 magic. The Razor Sword's stats are 28 power, 3 defense. This means if you go entirely physical (aside from healing magic route), the razor sword is better for you... and WAY easier to get (1x Wooden sword + 5x Metal Globe). 2) My pet didn't die until the next to last screen (literally 5 seconds before walking onto the last boss's screen), but I had left him to fight at the start and went ahead. The pop-up said not to lose it's blood... which I ASSUMED meant it gave it to me, since it had never died previously. I walked into the final boss's screen, it auto-saved... and I lost my lvl 23 pet. I didn't need him for the boss, but man... lame. Go find the blood before exiting a screen.

FOUND A BUG:
While I was mininga Sapphire Shard I got hit by a Snake, after that I couldn't move. Not even when I was bumped by an enemy.

Luneya: You can upgrade Leather armor to Plate armor by combining them with a Plate. For other uses, you can also take the first Google hit for "Castaway 2 Crafting Guide".

please update the moving!!! its kinda annoying just how slow the movement is. maybe a run button? and monsters seem a bit under-powered... too easy to kill. just makes the game a bit to easy if you ask me. and as alot of people have said, it would be nice to have a storage place for items so mages wont have to worry.

What can you actually craft using leathers and plates? Are we just supposed to sell them for cash after making them out of the common drops, or is there something better to do with my huge supply of them?

Bug: When you try to Craft the "nymphs" thing and you fail, it gets stuck on "Nothing was created." and that sign has no X or anything so you need to restart the page and lose the progress you had after the last autosave -.-

The game becomes disproportionately difficult towards the end. I can understand a slowly ramping difficulty as a game progresses, but to suddenly go from not being able to get scratched to fighting for your life is a little much.

you should make it where multiple ingredients makes multiple items for example: 3 hide + 3= leather. 6 hide + 6 hide= 2 leather. and also 4 hide + 4 hide= leather+ 2 extra hide. if that makes sense

If castaway 3 is ever made, a nice feature would be to toggle on/off exp sharing with your pet, so you can make a new pet level up faster, or get your character to a higher level more easily.

lol u can break rock by poisioning it, gather random shards of crystal and have them fit together perfectly, melt iron out of a rock anywhere, mix a necklace with armor to make it stronger, and remove barricades with blood

Fun, but kind of buggy. I've also had the same problem as Pecco where I craft a 'Nothing was created' and have the game freeze. It also happened while I was crafting medium potions.

I was so willing to give this game a chance even though on low graphics it runs like a handicapped turtle on my (older, but not completely garbage) computer. I went the way of the mage, and it was fun enough. I didn't even feel too inconvenieced like some people do by the weight system. Then I killed the third boss, and the gate never opened. Nymph's Forge inaccessable. I tried to find some other way to move along, but then, while trying to switch pets, somehow I got five copies of the same pet. Four stay stuck at my entry point to an area. This causes my game to literally move at about 1 frame/sec. Reloading the game doesn't fix it, and after wasting five hours, I'm not about to try again. I hate giving bad reviews, but this is buggy, RAM devouring garbage. 1/5
