why is the walking so slow its making me want to not play this you need to fix this and why cant you buy a house so you dont have to pay to sleep in the inn

im ok with sliding on ice.... its ice it should be slippery... but when a snake is stuck against a wall and you try to attack it, you slide into it and get pushed back... then you slide into again! i had to rely on my gila monster doing 1 point of damage at a time, and poison to kill the damn thing cuz i was stuck sliding into it infinitely... real pain in the ass...

@trollfacelol use 3 iron ores with 3 iron ores to get an iron ingot, use 3 ingots and an alkahest for an iron globe, and also, i always have 2 tabs up to play this game... the other tab is this http://guidology.com/2011/05/03/castaway-2-crafting-guide/ for the map, and all the crafting combinations

guys Morning star isnt the best for the player who prefer high attack and good defence its for the player who like the magic more but for the player who like defence go for Razor its same attack but + 3 defence Morning star is + 3 magic, to create Razor u need 5 iron globe and wooden sword hope its useful for the new players.

WTF!!! I just started play this game yesterday... And today i found that my save is lost? Why this happens. And this is not first game that lost my saves.......

There are a few rather large annoyances in the game:
1. No functional map. There's the minimap and the stylized overmap, but nothing to show you the connections between zones.
2. walking speed is WAY too slow. It's too slow even with the speed spell. It's flat out obnoxious to get from one place to another unspeeded
3. crafting is click heavy. Lets say you want to clear out those 50 berries by making pet healing potions. Well, click to start crafting, click materials, drag a bottle, click items, drag the berries, click "add" 2-11 times click craft. Want to make another? go through that WHOLE sequence again.
These issues kept me from playing it through the first time it came up. Even now, I'm only able to cope by leaving most dropped items where they fall and extensively utilizing 3rd party maps.

game is glitched i keep trying to make a sapphire globe by combineing 3 sapphire shards and some alkahest but it wont work? It even says thats how u do it :(

ah i need ur help ppl, i cant get to the Forge of nymphs because there is a gate 1-2 areas away, which wont open for me :( im lvl 19 and finished alot of stuff yet with this map http://images.jayisgames.com/hs_tasteofawesome_castaway_2_map.png , no idea what i should do, did the points 1-13 (execpt 3...) would be awesome if someone can pm me what i have todo to get to the forge thx :)

if you want to have a strong weapon early craft five iton globe (i know its long) and buy a wooden sword craft these and you will get the razor sword this is the srogest weappon before the morning star

seriously needs a combination guide,i've got strong lumber,8 treated leathers,3 iron globes and a ton of other stuff but i can't find the right combination.

Was enjoying the game when all of a sudden ... a white screen with a grey exclamation mark in the center appeared. Good bye saved game, good bye Castaway II :(.

WHAT IS THIS FRICKIN SNAKE!!!!! IT KILLED ME IN 3 HIT AND DEALING 30 DAMAGE EACH HIT!!!
AND I HAVE 150 HP AND ITLL STUN IT IN EACH ATTACK!!! sry caps

change pet by hatching them (in stable) then clicking them when they are next to stable a menu will come up where you can choose to make active pet

There's also another super strong weapon (just as strong as the morningstar) it's crafted from 3 wood and 1 iron ore to make a wooden sword, then you need 5 iron globes (3 iron ore & 3 iron ore = 1 iron ingot, 3 iron ingots = 1 iron globe) it makes the razor sword! it's super awesome! I've killed monsters from across barriers with it (not sure if bug or not but I'm not complaining)
