to all those complaining of lack of auto-save suck i up, imo auto-save makes most games far too easy.
also i LOVED the pet feature, but you should be able to take more than one pet at a time with you so you can switch them during battle, or maybe even pets that grow/evolve as experience is gained and levels are achieved. also at the start of the game, to help with the new player quests, you could possibly raise the drop rate of beetle shells instead of eggs? (was sitting there with 4 beetle shells and 12 eggs at one point) but overall this game is amazing in its graphics, playability and music ^_^ 5/5 and fav'd

At first I liked this, and then I coldn't get back to town, and so I got killed in two seconds by sand snakes. Now I'm sent back to the start, and I've decided, this game sucks.

I would like a better system of movement. There's a lot of lag from when I press the button and when the character walks. Its not my computer for critics scoffing at the first part of this comment. Changing directions while walking one way is impaired.

badly needs an auto save and it takes forever to get certain items such as the beetle shell i started the get 20 shells at lvl 3 and was at lvl 5 by the time i got 15 of them

Oh look I killed all of the beetles. Now I have to figure out how to get to town. Oh my god, a Sand Snake, how cute. Oh no, it's attacking me randomly. Look, I had 32 health, now I have 12! This game makes me feel like I need to puke...

Havn't played too far int it, but I have 2 suggestions I think would make this game a bit better.
The ability to upgrade building in the villiage to sell better stuff, or hold more pets, would be pretty cool. and this isn't necessary, but I do think that the ability to walk around the village rather than use it like a menu would be a nce touch

The non-auto save feature really wanted to make me quit the game... especially when i was a high level and because of death i was lowered 2 and a half levels. 2/5.

Overall nice game. Typical elements are a bit tedious in this genre, grinding being the main one. I have no problems with the isometric view, but as others have stated it could be improved upon (semi-transparent layers to view sprites further back on the z-axis, arrows with all exits as in the introduction, a full map or each area). Other than that; love the graphics, music, idea, etc., but so much more can be done with the basic engine, and hopefully will be used in a future sequel (much already mentioned). Hotkeys would also be nice as suggested, and please add the API with hopes of badges, need another Action/RPG in there. Keep up the good work an listen to your audience. Without needing a complete rebuild, many typical RPG elements could be incorporated to make an excellent game; players want choices. Everywhere. As it stands the quests/equipment/stats/story are all static, predetermined. Let the players have some choices, ANY choices.

Make a ****ing autosave... got up to level 10... poisoned, and guess what... i forgot to save... and now im back to level fcking 3 again...

Ridiculous. It would have gotten a four, maybe five, but for the stupid lack of saving. At least have a prompt when you enter the city to remember to save....

Need to be able to move with the mouse, see through objects you are behind, gain stats at level up, get decent gold so you can buy something better than a stick without having to kill 100 monsters, and it needs an auto-save that kicks in after every kill and item pick-up. 2/5

Pets seem to be a liability more often than a help. An option to leave them in town instead of taking them on a risky venture would be a good idea.

As I continued playing, I found that game-play becomes much harder and even irritating. I eventually gave up and changed the rating to 2/5.

Are you fukcing kidding me? I'm on my way back to town to save my game and I die and get GAME OVER? I can't even spawn back in town and lose XP or anything?

Wow, I left town for the first time and was killed in 2 hits by the first beatle I fought. It crited me twice in a row, and game over. I had full life too!

It would also be nice if the game went a little faster. In this I mean that when you stay the night at the inn, the fading out is much faster, and when you kill an enemy, the drop appears almost instantly.

wondering what type of rpg this would be classified. Love games like this, would play this one but needs major fixing, still good effort. would like to see more games like this

Give us some idea as to what a pet can DO! Why would I switch my leveled-up pet for a new one unless I had some idea of how they compared? And tell us what abilities/skills DO, rather than having us just randomly use them! Why would I waste fire shards on an ability unless I had some good idea of how helpful it will be?

There should be an option to enable/disable an auto-save feature. You should also be able to save wherever you want (As long as you are not fighting). Also, where land connects and you need to go the edge to get to the next screen, there should be something to indicate you can go that way. The controls are not as good as they should be. But I will give this a 3/5, decent game.
