all of these complaints seem valid at points but, end game the inventory is not a big problem, pets are basically useless, and if you don't save its your own problem... now my complaint is more to how much you miss attacks on lower lvl monsters

If you're all POed about the fact that there is no autosave, they make this game this way because they want you to be able to continue the game the way you want without having to start a new file. For instance, if your pet dies, you really miss him, and then it auto saves just before you are about to beat the game, that would suck. So quit complaining.

I've never come across a game with so much promise, but falls through so easily. The issues piles up on this graphicly beautiful game. I WANT to play this game, but keep rage-quittin' it because I die of battles I can't see 'cause o' the trees or the delays. Pathfindin' can take ages, and that damn inventory... I now change my ratin' to 2/5 since it has not been fixed.

It logs me out if I stand still for to long regenerating health...why put that in if you stop me from using that. And on top of that, with no auto save I lose all my progress because of that. Please fix this. Any other game stays on no matter how long I leave it.

There are some serious issues in this game 1.Absence of auto save does not increase difficulty, its just annoying 2.Pets are way underpowered and die too fast 3.carrying four pieces of armor, four kinds of shards, food, and/or pet food live too little space 4.pets take to long to hatch (an hour for something at level 4 is just not worth it) 5.frost monsters abuse "freeze" 6.poison and antidote fail and should be removed because of their ineffectiveness 7.monster drop rate of quest items is too low if you agree please press "+" so that the creator sees this and improves the game

i have actually just given up playing this game. why on earth isnt there a autosave feature? if you do make a sequel please put in an autosave because thsi game just isnt fun otherwise.

i tested all of the pets. leveled them to 15 ad let them fight against a lvl 13 female mutant.
they are all the same in attack with a few exceptions: the black beetle and the lava elemental are a bit better, the skeletal warrior a little worse. HP from 470 (sand beetle) to 1370 (ogre lord) at lvl 15. of course the pets are better in def the higher the zone they are from.
a well rounded pet in mid-level is the black beetle, though he has a little less HP. good in attack and also good in def.
if could also post the entire data i took if wanted.

I would like to see a eye patch on the main character, it would look spiffy and explain why he can't hit a scorpion or a snake half his size 80% of the time....

Why does equipment take up inventory slots, That is annoying, never seen a RPG game that does that. Inventory is like a back pack or Belt & were not carrying around our sword & armor in a bag... what is the deal.. Oh & getting stuck in the corner by items is lame, you die so much because of that.

This is not an entertaining game, from the fighting to the inventory to simply walking around it's just annoying. I don't understand why it's rated so highly.

I ran into a bug in the magma crater. The Lava Elementals cast Flame on my guy and it did negative damage, effectively healing him. What's even better is that you can be healed above your maximum health points. I got my guy to ~9000 HP this way then went and breezed through the final dungeon.

@ Yodayar: LoLz! maybe u suck at every game.. Castaway is just like an awesome RPG! but because this is a trial or an example to us maybe they will make a great one in Castaway 2 (maybe) besides this is fun if you just play with the gameplay

The game was made very unfun due to the lack of basic necessities that any kind of rpg now days needs. I gave up after I died the first time and realized I hadn't saved since the very first time we were supposed to. Making one mistake in this game can cost too much vs the rewards offered (I was seeing if I could kill a snake at level 3). While I didn't get that far into the game the problems of little inventory space I can see being an issue along with the lack of keyboard use for the game, to use a skill/spell you have to click on it each time, making what is normally a monotonous event even more drawn out and annoying. Reality wise as a very early draft of a possible game it could be good, but as a final release it's got too many basic issues that need addressing. 2/5

A few tips so far: You can create choke-points and roadblocks with items. Especially on boards where strong enemies attack, close yourself off with items, refill health then go. I stopped using pets, they were too wily and it didn't seam worth trying to keep them alive. Don't worry about antidotes, worthless.

CHEAT TO MAKE THIS GAME EASIER. Put your pet into the hatchery and then change your time settings for your computer to a few hours later. You will insta hatch your pet so if your other did die...at least you dont need to wait to train another....

now 1/5....i am 4-5 level higher than most of the mobs...with highest level armor and yet....somehow I miss like crazy and die like a bitch whenever the game feels like being annoying....sure my higher lvl pet in theory should be stronger....but no....it dies like a bitch before i can make any progress.....STOP WASTING MY DAMN TIME

This game is an enormous cluster of annoying design choices. Tiny inventory, overly weak pets, opaque scenery, inability to view inventory in the city, no autosave, terrible scaling on melee hit percentage, the poison/antidote junk is terrible; and worst of all is the combat system, where you have to navigate slow-loading menus in real time with the mouse, with no options for hotkeys.

2/5 why oh why would you give this crappy game ANOTHER badge....5 quests is torture enough...now i have to go through this buggy as game constantly having retarted miss ratios and constant pet death due to glitches...yea i love it when my pet turns invisible so i can't move it or walk through it...i love insta freeze mobs that rape you because...oh the creature just felt like making a shitty game...give me my damn badge already without all the stupid bugs and retarted programming

My biggest complaint is just about everything. Great game but everything is just missing something. The most annoying for me is the lack of an action bar. Having to open inventory, click health, then click 'use' is why my character or pet dies 90% of the time and it's completely unnecessary.

This game reminds me of a game I've played ages ago... I loved that game. There were slimes and magical books; RPG games. One of the better RPGs I've played, although it DOES need a "Fast Forward" button for text, and maybe an autosave would be nice. Thanks.
