This game made me remember times when, I've been playing Final Fantasy Tactics on gameboy and I loved this game. I think it's simply excellent! It's true that objects should become transcendent when you're behind them but, I'm used to this kind of controls and, I think it's OK. About the passages, I think it's quite visible. Do you really need arrows to show you where is the passage? Cmon... how about an AI which will do everything for you? Why would you bother using your brain! :) 5/5! Best flash RPG idea i've seen.

Great artwork great gameplay, an RPG I can actually call an RPG :D 5/5 does deserve badges so everyone favourite it and rate it 5!

There's so much good about this game that I'm conflicted. The art and music is excellent. However, there are many minor things that detract from the overall experience. No semi-transparency on props means that I can end up fighting monsters I can't see. No arrows on exits means there's no easy way to tell where they are. It's ok to have both the keyboard and mouse control the character, but why bother why the keyboard if everything else is done through the mouse (no hotkeys, no way of attacking without clicking on a monster). I'd rather just see it be entirely through the mouse.

Great game, has a lot of potential. I agree about the controls and the map arrows, they should be fixed. For example: i think the pathfinding of the character when selecting an enemy to atack is pretty good ¿why dont you put this same feature but to move? I mean just click anywhere on he map and the character moves there. Selecting the stats manually at level up would be a nice addition too. Keep up the good job. 4/5

This game is to much like the pokemon dungeon explorer games but it is pretty good and has a classic feeling about it. I give it a 7/10 because it gts very repetitive.

I expected (and hoped for) something more "Robinson Crusoe" like from a game called castaway. I actually really like the games in which you need to survive on an uninhabited island and there are not many games of that type (seriously some big producer could do a game of that type, it would be AWESOME!), but sadly it turned out to be just regular H&S... Not a really good one too.

in addition to all the reviews off the others i would like to have a autosave, i mean sometimes u die pretty fast and this is really frustrating

this game is looks great, gameplay sucks, I quickely get overunned by enemies, can't find a way to return to the vilage and have already died 3 times in 2 minutes on the first 10 minutes I played.

I found the sand generator by going (by directional arrow in game control) from the first screen: right-up-up-right. I didn't find it until after I finished the 20 shell quest though.

Thanks for all the input so far, it is very much appreciated.
This is our first crack at making an RPG, and we do realize now that a lot of things were done the wrong way. I think we mainly assumed too much that users would easily figure out some things like the entrances/exits to and from different maps. The controls are definitely strange at the start, but they do become natural after a while. Rest assured, if this game warrants a sequel, we will take every great suggestion and make sure it is included.

I loved the pet RPG concept, but quickly tired of the game when I realized it was based on repetitious grinding quests. The controls are also jerky - makes walking anywhere frustrating, and the game requires endless amounts of walking. The game looks awesome - I hope to see improved incarnations of it!

great game... but seriously needs a button that shows the text straightaway rather than having to either wait and read slowly or skip the whole text... but all in all a great game (Y)

And yeah; although the creator also made ultimate defense and ultimate tactics, it gets kinda boring to see the same damn graphics over and over again... Different games need different graphics, don't use the same ones all over again!

I don't really seem to have any of the gripes about this game that everyone else does, but that might be because i grew up playing Shining Force, which has exactly the same map controls. The only thing i dislike is the amount of time regenning takes in the beginning, but other than that it's a great game. 4/5

"Ugh.... My head... Where am I.... What is this place?"I don't think a happy face looks good with a confused text like this...

Some interesting ideas here that could have been entertaining, but I don't have the patience for a mediocre grind fest.

Overall this is a great game, just... the quest items are really frustrating to get, really. It's like you need to kill 10 to get 1. An addition of Storage in town also helps, since we only had 14 slots and need to keep many things and get loots. 4/5 because the lack of storage.

To heal 300hp you need 15 herbs or 5 small potions or 2 large potions. 15 herbs 15x15G=225G, 5 small potions 5x75G=375G, 2 large potions 2x250G=500G. In this world cheap means better but takes longer to use:)

"cold" just describes the lack of heat, therefore, it is not real. Heat is real, because it describes how much energy is in the object. I'm not going to ramble on all day about this, but whoever made this game needs to learn basic science....

to clarify: 4/5 because the game is nice to play - well thought through - not bad on the controls (although can be improved) - and filling in a unique gap for single player flash games: but that -1 from the 5 means no replay value.

nice game - but as said - having gone miles to finish a quest - then dying on the way back due to some mishap - takes the fun out altogether. shame.

we need to know when we are attacked when something is behind it the object blocking it should be translucent.the scorpion hiding behind the tall grass killd my scorpion

It really needs a respawn thing, like when u die there is this thing where u press "OK" to revive to nearest town and lose some XP & Money

Besides the obvious control issue, I notice a bit of a balance issue here as well. It seems a little unfair that a lvl 1 hero can be one-shotted by a lvl 3 sandbug. Being outclassed is one thing, but this seems so cheap as to be ridiculous. With that out of the way, it's a great concept that with a little tweaking might be something really special. 4/5

Has any1 played Azure Dreams?? this is very remiscent to that. Its a good thing Azure Dreams was an amazing RPG game quite underrated, but similar to this with the mechanics and pets systems. the whole style this game fairly good.

1. Can't walk with mouse. But if you click on an enemy your character walks there just fine. Huh?
2. Character healing can be ONLY purchased in town, pet healing can be ONLY dropped by the enemy. Which means that your pet dies a lot and you can't do much about it.
3. Map connection points hard to find.
4. No stats. I'm still not sure if all pets are the same and just look different. And was that flaming sword form the quest a good thing or a scrap?

As an additional tip, being a little mathematically inclined REALLY helps. 3 herbs do the same thing as one potion. Yet they cost 30G less. That's some efficient shopkeeping.

Good grafiks, but thats about it. The control system is way to slow, and when the creeps lvl up, you'll pretty much be a goner. Battles are to much clicking cuz of no hotkey combat system. All in all a good effort in making it, but needs to be upgraded a bit. 2/5

you should be able to sell hatched pets you dont want, also, add items that you can use on eggs that will influence the strength of the hatched pet.

false there is a way to bring your pet back: dont save youre progress after your pet died when he wahs so important refresh the game.dont rate it down in this comment is meaned that no autosave have good things.

In the beginning, when it tells you about the pet's Icons, it says "Clicking the appropriate button in their sadfasdf below." I'm trying to figure out what the "Sadfasdf" is. I found out eventually, but it would be nice if you replaced it with something more clear, and less, to put it bluntly, lazy. Overall, this game is fun.

I can't wait for badges! I hope there will be an achievement for "losing three hours of gameplay due to the fact you can only save in town."
