Turns out I've not been retaining any save games across Kong (other than those stored on a game server) since the last Flash update - it set my local storage to zero. I had to make a backup, change to unlimited storage, then restore.
Sadly that doesn't fix the fact that replaying even a fraction of this game will be a major pain.

There are some serious issues in this game 1.Absence of auto save does not increase difficulty, its just annoying 2.Pets are way underpowered and die too fast 3.carrying four pieces of armor, four kinds of shards, food, and/or pet food live too little space 4.pets take to long to hatch (an hour for something at level 4 is just not worth it) 5.frost monsters abuse "freeze" 6.poison and antidote fail and should be removed because of their ineffectiveness 7.monster drop rate of quest items is too low if you agree please press "+" so that the creator sees this and improves the game

Resting at INN is broken - Inn says it will heal both you and your pet. Pet does not heal. Vote up so that bug can be fixed. Thanks!

the tips say to take care of your first pet... but at lv 10 it doesn't seem to do anything better than a scorpion( less health infact), and worse than a wild scorpion

How many quests are there? Highscore says people have completed 42, but I only get 41. So where is the last quest hidden? (completed Ice Blade and Magma Generator, no more quests available?)

much easier to lose your pet in this first Castaway than in the sequel but still fun, graphics are nice but not as smooth so the dev. really improved the second.

Overall nice game. The art and music is excellent. The style of the game and the execution is interesting, although there is much room for improvement. Hotkeys would also be nice as suggested. Anyway, 4/5.

@trainermax keep the level 61 pet theres none of the species anymore like tht in the game so if you lose your first pet its gone forever

WTF i spent around 5 hours trying to get the shield made of the beetle shells and most of the time i find eggs. So i can beat the crap out to the monster untill a egg comes out when it should have cracked and i can't get a shell

The game seems to be somewhat of a grind so far (lvl 11). The pets look different but don't seem to differ in action at this point in the game for me. The attacks/abilities (hot-keys would help) are good and the game is well put together. The game play is just a little one directional and could use variety.

It takes more time to use 16 herbs than one potion. You stand on a potion when you don't want your character to die. That would be why a person would pay more money to keep some potions around.

I have to point out that the healing items are not logically priced. 5 Healing Herbs cost the same as one Small Healing Potion, and heal 40 HP more; and 3 Small Potions cost 25G less than one large, and heal 30 HP more; and 16 Healing Herbs cost as much as one Large Potion, and heal twice as much.

I'm going to have to agree with the top complaints here. Don't get me wrong, it's a very nice RPG with a good battling system, but the trees constantly block my vision and the inventory is severely limited once you have four equipped items and four shards for magic. Still, it's a very good start and I'm sure the sequel I'll get to has a lot of improvements. 4/5

ahh... the eternal rage of scorpions. No pet shall ever survive an encounter with one! so is the will of the fates. I do so very hate those fates. *sob* i miss all those pets! Stupid scorpions.

Best name for a scorpion? Cmere. It was supposed to be C'mere!!!!! like Scorpion from mortal kombat but the game calls ' ! those two signs "illegal characters."

I love this game, even with good graphics and HALF a game very real animals in the forest, a tribe, and more ^ ^ so it added up in my favorites. GREAT GAME FOR ALL O / is a beautiful game and I'm proud WHO DONE IT, AND EVEN A DEFECT here and there, no one can speak ill of him BETTER BECAUSE YOU CAN NOT DO, AND DOES NOT HAVE NOTHING TO COMPLAIN AS THE PLAYED. I hope you enjoy the game ^ ^.

gosto muito deste jogo, mesmo tendo mals graficos e um jogo muito real, animais da floresta, uma tribo, e muito mais ^^ por isso ate adicionei nos meus favoritos. OTIMO JOGO PARA TODOS ATE + O/
