3/5, the game has the potential, but for now it needs some serious work for it to be a good game. During my first 15 minutes of playing it became clear to me that controls are takes a while to respond, and found some glitches in the game. The graphics I find acceptable. One other issue that I have seen in some of these is that you don't make something transparent when you're behind it! I find this pretty annoying.

I guess the spoiler is that there's nothing to spoil. After finishing all quests, there's no real ending to give one a sense of closure. Rather, you're just left to continue playing sans objectives ad infinitum. For the time it takes to grind one's way to the end of the game, a real ending would seem to be in order, and might leave the player with a feeling of satisfaction or completion. As it is, the player may instead get a sense of just suddenly being dropped and is left to question the use of time spent on a wild goose chase.
...Then again, maybe forcing the compulsive casual gamer to reflect on these things is a good thing. Somehow, I doubt that's the intended effect, though.

I enjoy games like this, however.......... I have no problem with tilted games, but this is just completely diagonal. its very hard to play when its ocompletely like that, plus parts of it is blocked so you cant tell what's going on

magic weaps should be able to amplify the damage of their element's attacks, i.e. Fire Scimitar should increase the damage of Flame.

auto-save would be could. i forgot to save and lost a couple of hours... all other things like the ability to see your inventory in town ot hotkeys are already mentioned.

The only complaints I have about this game is how quickly you can generate money (needs to be faster if the Inn is increasing that fast), opaque scenery when you are behind them (you really should be able to see when an enemy is attacking you, at least so you can attack back. Most of the time it will not recognize me declaring an attack if the enemy is hidden behind scenery), and invisible enemies (It happens occasionally. An enemy will spawn invisible and attack me or my pet. However, I cannot attack the enemy, only my pet can. Rather unfair if you ask me). Other than that, I must say that this is one of the better made RPGs on the web.

The controls are fine with me, but I'ld like transparency. It would make navigating a lot easier. But even so, it's a 5/5. :)

all up its a relatively good game it could use hot-keys and a couple of other adjustments like lowering the evasion rate of the higher level creatures, it would also benefit if it had a better story like some of the others have said the ending is to uneventful. all up i give it a 4.6/5

About:
- I want be without pet, it's easier and faster, now is only leaving the pet die. Their levels are very low at beggining, and their attacks are poor.
- Stay at night is expensive, you receive items that gives you as maximum 50G and it waste 210GP or more. And poison is still there
- A lot of monsters MISS and MISS our attacks, and are more than 5 levels under ours
- I disagree with the current select and then "Use" command for items, perhaps a double click on item may be better, sometimes is difficult to feed a pet that is under attack by an enemy lower in level but higher on attack hit.

Amazing game all around, beautifully polished. As everyone else said, just a few minor things that need to be reworked including movement fluidity, arrows telling you where the next 'rooms' are, and other minor bugs. Overall though, great job, this looks like a solid game.

this could be a really fun game. Needs geometry fade as so often I just can't see what is going on behind the scenery. Hotkeys would be a definite plus as would the ability to see and use inventory in town. Would also like some kind of progress indicator on levelling up for me and my pet.

the game is simple, and i find it great like that. although you should change it so that if you are a few levels higher than an enemy, they wont chase after you. i'm level 22 and lvl 3 snakes still chase after me, etc. please fix that here on kongregate, and any other websites the game was published on

Great game but needs a few tweaks like everyone has said already.
1) More Inventory Space, or at least separate them. I.E. Pots, Equips, Pet Items.
2) Hot keys.
3) This way to next map marker (by the door).
4) Each time you level auto save.
5) A sector map. I.E. Castaway Jungle all zones when I hit 'W' for instance?
6) Rate as good if you agree xD

Game is great, but sometimes my pet will just stand around looking stupid while I'm fighting something. Either that or he will take the longest possible route to fight the guy. i think the pet needs some more AI

I have no idea how to leave the first town.
I would appreciate a couple changes to the interface.
1 When the test is scrolling because someone is talking to you, clicking "next" should make that balloon fill up instantly.
2 It is not necessity to have pop ups inform you of everything, that then have to be closed. When I save a game you could just flash that save slot green instead of giving me another pop up to click through telling me that yes indeed I did just save the game.
3 when you find it necessary to have a pop up it is a bad idea to make closing it (the most often used action) require moving your mouse over and clicking on a little red box in the corner. Having a dedicated hot key that acknowledges that I received the game's message would make playing it a lot smoother. So when I want to close this pop up I hit "enter"

I wouldn't say this is completely unique, the menu styles and icons are extremely similar to the mmorpg Dofus which made it very off putting to me

pets hp should regen t he same way your hero's does. or neither should. doesn't make sense to have one regen but the other not.

panos sparos to find the sand generator you go to the second reigon in castaway beach when you see the water follow the road going right at that point... keep following it untill you get to the end go past the pillars and you should see a place to go elseware... when you go there you will find sand beetles and sand snakes in the same place... keep going north and you will find another place... thats where the sand generator is
