So, if a Healing Herb heals 20HP costs 15G, why would I want an item that heals three times the amount cost five times as much? And for that matter, why would I want an item that heals 7.5 times as much as an Herb for 16 times the price? Your prices need a LOT of re-balancing.

It looks like a fun, interesting game to start, but for some reason, when trying to attack an enemy, the character seems to get stuck for a few seconds sometimes.

I think i played a MMO that was like this.... But leveling is a drag, and getting back(to town) is slow, or expensive...

Gets a 4/5 by me because i have plaeyd an Amiga game long ago which i loved. Name was "Voodoo Nightmare" and the controls were somehow alike. They are not terrible as people say. You just need to get experienced on grid based pseudo 3D games.

ehhh This game was very painful to play. Lack of mute, Nothing to speed up the text without skipping it completely. Sadly, the idea is nice but the execution is poor. 5/5 for the game itself, 1/5 for Controls and HUD problems. Overall 3/5
If you do make a second one, make it mouse friendly for movement, and add a goddamn mute button please. :) Nice job tho.

for people saying to turn down the volume on the computer to mute... perhaps im listening to music or watching tv shows? should be able to mute from the initial menu screen. i have to put up with the blaring obnoxious sound for longer than i want while im trying to find the settings menu once you finally press through the initial text message prompts

to mute its called go to settings(that little button that in the bottom-right corner) and turn off the music and sound.

Kinda sucks that I'm practically invincible, but every pet I've ever gotten has been retard-easy to kill, even with tons of grinding to level them up. Oh, and the turning sucks unless you're auto tracking a creature, maybe implement a mouse control? Anyway, good game, 4/5

I like the game however being able to see the pets stats would be something I would like to see implemented. Also don't like the fact that you have to walk to the town all the time until you get the town teleport thing (even so you still need to walk all the way back to where you need to fight certain monsters). Rating 3/5

Nice start, but I'd like to have a little more info available, things like statistics/powers of my pet if they're available then I don't know where they are, or of weapons and so forth. As it stands with the exception of going to a blacksmith its kind of hard to tell why one item might be better than another, or if one pet is better than another.

Isn't there a game called azure dreams for the play station one that has similar game play? you even have monsters that are your pets and eggs to hatch. the fighting style is really similar too.

bout time kong put this up, ive been playing this on armor games lol. good game, i say 4.5/5 controls are alittle buggy, but still solid. game play is good thought. enojyed the story behind it. wish you had some stat control when you level up. keep it up

Since there is a lot of grinding (and a lot of eggs that can be sold for large amounts of gold) just use the gold you acquire to buy a feather at the town general store.
The game is relatively short, does require you to grind to 'OH MY GOD!!' level your toon and your pets (much like every other game of the genre).
If it's too difficult to level, save or buy feathers just stop playing.
Either that or buy some Kreds and donate so the creator of this game at least gets paid to listen to the whiners out there.

This is certainly a high-quality game with some nice features. I especially like the pet hatchery scheme.
HOWEVER....
That said, it could benefit from a few adjustments. As Dyabolik said, the use of directional keys seems redundant when the protagonist seems to understand point-and-click directives for walking to a targeted enemy. It seems like a minor step to just make all travel commands mouse-based.
Second, there seems to be no way to RETURN TO MENU WITHOUT RELOADING (to load a game or whatnot)! That's a biggie...
Otherwise, thanks and nice work.

Movement is okay, but more fluid would be nice. My biggest problem is the lack of funds in the beginning of the game. My pet died, I have no money for healing, so I have to stand around to heal, and I keep getting killed by pissed off instant spawning snakes. Not very fun. And some way to speed up the text would be nice. 3/5

Wow, well I lost about an hour of gameplay just because i forgot to save :( Is an autosave when you enter the town that hard to impliment? Also having to walk the entire way back to town just to save is a pain in the ass.

I find the map confusing with arrow keys, just not getting used to it, the pet system is wierd, the monsters focus on my pet more than me, and medicine items need to be easier to use quickly.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
would be great to have autosave feature... it's very EASY to forget to save when most games today have that feature... next thing i know is i just wasted an hour of grinding... =(

Nice Game. I Don't understand, why some dont like the enemy system. The enemys just respawn after a definded time (not randomly) again and the multiple atacking if you go near multiple enemys is part of this game. It would be too easy and boring if you can kil one after another in a row. Loosing the pets is normal too, if you dont care about them.
The Money and Healing System is expensive, but its ok and playable with a game type common time spending.

these r my favorite kind of games..but this ones kinda..uh...not what im looking for..im looking for a game like Arcuz but less grinding.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Yeah, uhm...if you get attacked from two sides at once, and just so happen to also be cornered, your character turns AWAY from the enemies and waits to die. Is this some "cower in fear" hidden ability, or some really shitty bug?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
needs more places to save, especially without forcing you to return to town. also, while the idea is good, the implementation is lacking somewhat. Randomly appearing monsters, so that it is at times impossible to leave an area, for as soon as you kill one, the most recently dead one before that just pops up and attacks you again, is one of the main features that keeps me from liking this.

great game, there are a few things, 'abilities' should have keys assigned to them, as well as arrows pointing towards map 'exits'

bbalboni the hotel is based on your level the higher level you are the more it is. To people saying the things about a quick way to save just save up for a feather then teleport back.

Ran into a bug that was a game ruiner, took the time to get to the sand generator then couldn't leave the sand generator because of a bug. No save feature outside of town so I'd have to start the quest all the way over. I thought the game was neat despite the grind but alas I dislike such a bug that forces me to start over. Dying without saving was more or less my own fault but this bug is in the game. 2/5 >.<
