Physics need improvement, otherwise it would be a good game. IMO they should have been fixed for the first game instead of making a x-mas pack. Broken game.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Done all levels using no wood, wood is stupid and breaks far too easily.
I suggest harder levels, using steal makes it simple.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I like the game and all, but I have to hate you anyway for jumping on the CHRISTMAS STARTS MONTHS IN ADVANCE bandwagon.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Well regardless of it's stregth, I still perfer steel over wood. Actually I beat alot of the levels with steel. With the ones I didn't, I used a couple wood segments to save money to complete my bridge. I actually think steel is better because it means you require less segments in your bridge so theres less places for your bridge to collaspe at.

Steel helps inthe right places. Its best at being a hanging support. Remember, arches have the most strength, so always build the bridges with at least a slight arch in it.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@ReinFrenchments - Regardless of the additional strength and strategic placement, the steel can hardly support ITSELF let alone the bridge.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@ Steakish: You can use the two collums on the bottem for support... I did a sloppy job but those collums really helped.
@ Timmeh7o7
Steel may be heavier, but you can make one segment of steel almost twice as long. Personally I think steel is stronger as it seems more weight can be put on them.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The additional joint strength of steel is negligible at the very best... I spend much more money on steel just to find that it weakens my bridge due to the weight. Overall, this gets a 2/5... Steel should help, not hinder.

Guys look, the first level isn't "that" hard. I beat it with $1260 to spar and with only 7 segments.

Sorry, i didn't find this game very fun. I like bridge building style games, but this one wasn't very realistic. Good attemt, But lacking something....... 3/5
@Red Devil- Who cares if its not December..
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Also it would've been sweet if you added another challange mode like in the first one where have to make your bridge go as far as it can with the money that you saved from the levels. :D
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
what a lame game it is so stupid u cannot beat it the first lvl is impossible it is just stupid because no matter what you do you lose
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I beat the levels... I think level 29 was the hardest, because you had a giant gapping hole in the middle with only 1 side to build from, but afterwords, the levels tended to go much quicker. Alot of the levels though I would end up with barely any money left though. Finished with $8968.

much tougher than the first one (good), physcics seem off (bad). I like presents (very good), but I want mah turkey first (bad) 3/5.

3 Thing to remember: Triangles, Weight, Force of Gravity.
--Triangles are the strongest shape.
--High weight of UPPER supports is a no-no.
--Force of Gravity, how much space is there BETWEEN the sides of the gap.

Tip for first level:
Surface of your bridge should be flat. Use 2 steel supports off the bottom left starting point, one adjoining to the walk and one adjoining to the support structure underneath. THe support structure underneath should be an alternating triangle support system.

I'm not sure what the rules is for links and 'helping' people but here is a plan for level 27. ----

--- ALL WOOD
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This is actually quite a good simulation system. Basically your joint supports are too weak to support the added mass of your structure, if all you do is spam connectors. This is what we call a HARD building game. Think about physics from high school.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Maybe there's something I'm not getting, but the more I support my bridge, the more it falls apart. Either really hard, or a really bad physics engine.
Can anyone get steel to stay up at all?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I loved the first version of the game but I can't get this one to work at all. The first lvl doesn't have enough start points to get a real bridge. It collapses before the guys even get halfway across. Have to give it 1/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Bridges just fall apart randomly, no matter how much support there is and in what way. Also, triangles are in reality the most stable bridge-building structure but in this they just give way.

the minute halloween is over its christmas and as soon as christmas is done its valentines day, at least thats what it was like at wal-mart the were always pre-emptive on everything
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Early?People tend to release/create christmas games early to either get more plays or to not clash with other games.I think its the second.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
yes, very tedious indeed. tried the first level more than ten times already to no avail, and i had all the badges on the first version.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
let the tediousness begin. again. haven't played this version yet, but the last one made you place the pieces juuuuuust right.

Couldn't they replace the elephants with big round presents? I mean seriously.. Why are we putting elephants in a freaking sleigh..
