SPOILERS: After all of this, I have a single question. Why was Yeow there to get involved in the case in the first place? If I'm not mistaken, he normally would be in a different town if not a different part of the world, and he normally just mirrors where Pumpkin Head is. But, this time Pumpkin Head wasn't Yeow at all, so he would have no reason to be in the area of a fake Pumpkin Head crime. Did he just happen to be in town so he stopped by? Or was it that he heard of it and so he made his way to the crime scene in keeping with his normal persona and motives of Pumpkin Head's archenemy? The later one is the best explanation I can think of, and it makes sense if we assume his normal haunts are near enough that he'd hear it in time. I have no idea as to where the smoke bomb came from, I guess it was basically a prop used to make the Pumpkin Head act more "realistic" on Phooey's end?

The story reminds me of a Phoenix Wright case there's no way the author didn't play those before making a detective game, so props on the reference to that case it's definitely one of the best cases in the PW series.

Terrible - the thing with the loading screen, the lack of instructions about the deductions, the glitches, how did this make the best of 2019?

Unfortunally for me, the game wont load. To be more specific, when starting the game, i see a white zombie sillhouette with a loading bar below and otherwise black background. This loading bar does fill once, then everything becomes just black without anything happening afterwards. Also, when moving my mouse into the game, the mouse just disappears and re-appears once it is outside the game field. I want to play your game so bad :(

Down voting a genuine comment regarding an issue? Lol cheers who ever did that, some person you are. Luckily though I'm now on another device that isn't using the broken save so I plan on restarting but following the walkthrough only instead to avoid the game issue.

If you are stuck with the hint to search at phooeys office, go instead to the
charity /Brainhunter HQ and talk about Bomp related evidences.

Okay I'm mega stuck and getting too frustrated at this BS right now. I'm having the dame issue that others have commented, here and on the walkthrough page.
I am 94% in, I've already got a suspect with no red arrows but on my evidence page there seems to be missing clues maybe. When ever I try and ask for a hint, I just get phooeys office over and over again but I've done everything there! All I get is the same Lawyer comment.
I need this for the 2019 badge but it's broken! PLEASE HELP.

After clicking the "evident" in the hotel, if you try to leave the room using the door, it will get stuck and have to reload the game.

Another great job. I always get stuck at one point in your games but figure it out in time. The loading is a bit irritating but I understand the troubles of switching to the new system. Keep up the great work on your next game.

To get past the faceless guy guarding Phooey's office, just click on the door when you enter without talking to him first.

Wait... But if you need interaction to play music after loading, how is the map able to load with music and without clicking?

It's been quite a while. Glad you're back, hopefully healthy and happy :)
Regarding the game, I seem to not be able to jump over any scene transition - neither NewGame/LoadGame/Credits work for me, all just show a black screen. I guess it has smth to do with the new HTML5 impl, which internally cross references and loads diferrent scenes (html pages), plus the fact that I am using FF with a bunch of ad/popup/redirection blockers.

The loading between each scene makes this far worse to play than the previous ones.
Are you able to preload the next scenes while one is being used and then just switch between them?

I got stuck with the alley because I didn't know that going left from outside the mayor's office leads to a a different room. Also I don't understand why the guard sometimes blocks you from going into Phooey's office, and sometimes lets you pass.

I am having the same issue as that other guy, but even using the Load Game option isn't giving me anything but a black screen

Am I the only one getting a black screen after pressing "New Game"? Note: I did solve the initial "Loading Complete" puzzle, it's after actually clicking "New Game" that nothing happens. Running Chrome, fyi.

even though he was wrong, ghvnn saying its been 8 months since the last case does make me think, whats the timespan between the first game and this one? is it a few months, years, or centuries?
