I liked this game. As always, after finishing it, I want to know more about the zombie society. However, the non-automatic loading screen is irksome, the lack of variety in the answers is removing a good chunk of the pleasure f playing an investigtion game and... this is a personal issue, but I have no clue what I'm supposed to actually do to get to Phooey. I "solved' that "puzzle" by brute-clicking on the door until it worked...
Thank you for all your suggestions, and as for your "issue", the guard at the door can't see - he can only hear. So if you don't talk to him (or Ghvvn) he won't know you're there and you'll be able to use the door.

It is frustrating to ask characters about clues and always get the same non-answer, especially when it's something that makes sense to ask about. Either the characters should have more variety in their "I don't want to talk about that" responses, or they should provide some information that leads the player toward more fruitful avenues.

This is one of the first ZS games I could beat without a walkthrough :) The only suggestion I have is that in one of the clues, you misspelled "desert" as "disert"

Thanks Lu Muja for another great game!
I really love your ZS series and since the first game I was excitedly looking for your next game! The fact that there are 3 possible suspects makes it interesting and I was squeezing my brain (if I'm not yet a zombie) to solve it right.
There is only one little thing that kept me stuck: When I was in Phooeys office and she went out to have a word with her guard, I didn't go straight after her and so I missed a clue and couldn't get that clue later on.
I really really hope that some day, great detective Margh and funny Gvinn will get out of their graves again because I loved every interesting, exciting, fascinating game with them.
All the best wishes, M. :-)))
Thank you for your very nice comment! As for the clue you're missing, you have to check Phooey's desk when she leaves her room. And you get another hint if you talk to the boydguard and then try to go back inside the office.
Thanks again!

The game counts the charity as phooie's office so when the game says: "there may be clues at phooie's office" it means "go to the charity place"

As always an exelent game, I'm pretty sad of the closure (practically saying that this will be the last kongregate game, I hope steam game is still comming). still, something that was a little confusing is how fast you can bring the real culcript before getting all the hints, however, I think that is one of the best parts of your games, they are never that straight foward.
Still awesome game as always.
BTW hope you get very happy in your married life, best wishes.
Thank you a lot for your nice comment! Yes, you don't need all hints to solve the case, but you will need them to get the max score and eventually the badge, if the game gets one. As for the Steam game.. unfortunately, as I wrote on my Facebook page, getting married means I'll be in need of money, money that I won't be able to spend on anything else like a Steam game. It's unfortunate, but Zombie Society won't come to Steam :(

I dunno what it is about this game, but I love it! The sound effects are real crisp (I love the sound of the notebook) and the music has some real headbangers. I'm glad you're ok and that you were able to put out a new game! Good luck on whatever comes next!

worst coding ever. always having to refresh because the game keeps breaking. usually the "loading complete" never showing up. getting married has ruined your abilities.
I'm verry sorry you weren't able to play the game..! It IS working for the other users, so could you send me a PM telling me on which device and browser you played it? Html5 isn't as stable as Flash yet, compatibility is still a problem. But if you give me more info I can try to fix the issue
You're totally right, and I already noticed... but when I selected the "adventure" tag the rpg one added itself on its own, and now I can't seem to find a way to take it off! It's driving me crazy..!

Im glad that you have recovered well!!
and a bit sad for ZS to come to an end(i rlly felt that ghvnn final conversation).
I will be waiting for your future projects :D

Lu Muja, sorry to hear you got sick, but I'm so happy you got better, and I'm very happy for you and your new spouse! I also love your game, haven't played it just yet but I'm ready to as soon as I'm done writing. I just want to also add, I love your games, I was bobbing in my seat in excitement while it loaded!

I have to say, it's been fun. Of all the episodes in this series, not one has shown to disappoint. I'd like to congratulate you on your engagement, as well as your health recovering, and thank you for the joy and investment that I've felt within this series since the very first game. I hope that all your future projects will be just as amazing as this world of mystery has been. Though I resent that the series has come to a close, the future is still looking as bright as ever. Thank you, once again, for everything.

Another nice game in this series - thank you! However, the ending credits scared me a little: Are you not gonna make more Dead Detective games, but other stuff instead? I sure wouldn't like this series to become, well, dead...
Glad you liked the game! And, unfortunately, that's exactly what the ending message means: I'll keep making games, but the Zombie Society series is finished. For now, at least. I really need to work on something else :(

If this series has to end, i am glad we are going out on a high note.
Regarding the ending, how did the mayor turn, no one of the people involved would have been able to bite him?

Is it possible for you to introduce the fllowing snippet into your code please:
If(screenSays=="Load complete"){autoclick1Time=true}
LOL if I used that code the game would freeze on the loading screen... But maybe I can do something similar, you might really be up to something... Thanks!

So happy to see this back! Can't wait to get stuck in. & I'm really glad to hear the works completed and you've found your second player :D
Maybe this time I'll figure it out before GHVNN...

I love how the inventory is easily accessible at the bottom. I remember in previous games that sometimes it was hard to open the briefcase, this makes it so much easier! I also really appreciate the magnifying glass. sometimes I would spend so much time trying to find a super small thing to click on, but this makes it so much better!!! I hope you are recovering well from your surgery, and I'm so happy that you're engaged now! I wish you the best and just wanted to thank you for these awesome games!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
if the reason for having to click after the loading is done is to have music, can you make an option to not have music instead? in this game or the next? btw. than that nice to have a new zombie detective game!

Very nice, as always (5/5). Pity, the series ends. But, if it ends, why the HTML5 port for just one episode? Do you plan to port the old episodes, too? Will you use the new engine for something else?
Glad you liked the game! As for html5, I just thought it was time I learned how to make a game with it. And from now on, all of my new games will be in html5, too!

Thank you for another great Dead Detective game. Sorry to hear it might be the last one. Having played and enjoyed all of them, I feel I ought to buy you a coffee or something. Do you have a Patreon profile or anything like that?
Ahah thanks for the nice offer, but I don't have a patreon or anything similar. I'll probably collect all the episodes in one big game in the future, but at the moment your nice comment is enough for me :)
Click on the main theory, on the right page of your notebook, and confirm your conclusion. Then you'll have solved the case (or accused the wrong suspect)

I'm sad to see the series end now but I hope that you come back to it one day, I'd really like to see the new mayor and other 'father zombies' exposed. But! You gotta take care of yourself and I'd much rather you do that.
Also, Congratulations!!
Thank you a lot for your nice comment, however let me reassure you: I'm not ending this series because I'm sick, I'm perfectly fine. I just needed a creative break and to work on something else entirely

gave this a 5/5 before even I started playing the game. Starting texts and screens made me very happy !
hope you are doing fine , stay healthy now ! Best wishes from a random guy !!

In the hotel, the default mouse icon is an opened letter, and a downwards curving arrow when talking. The "Bomp is a force of nature" clue also changes to a severed leg. This was all on Firefox if that helps.

Hello! I am PurpleKingCrazy Again! Yea! I kinda really enjoyed this game as well! And grats on being married and sorry you took so long to make the game due to things. And things happen. I get it. Well, not quite on my perspective. But then again I'm glad I played it and enjoyed it and really I gave it 5 stars for the high quality detective game that it is and it deserves its place.

Another great game in the zombie detective series and a nice goodbye to the series with an episode with the highest stakes yet. The first real murder mystery in the game, with actual lives on the line. Though unfortunately also the first dead detective game where I got truly stuck on. The hint keeps saying that I forget some hints in Phooey's office but even after checking the facebook walkthrough (the ingame link is wrong though, that one links to a private link) I could not figure out what I missed. So even though I know who the true culprit is, I'll never be able to catch them. Still a great game and I wish you all the best in your future!
Thank you for your nice comment. I've just uploaded a new version that should fix all the bugs that have been mentioned up til now, including the link to the walkthrough!

This was a good one to end off on - it's like an indefinite cliffhanger. Now we've got three master thieves/assassins, the mob, government corruption, and all of it

If you try to leave Sweet Grave Hotel through the door, it glitches and and you have to restart from last save point. Also the red circles you get pushing the magnify are all misplaced

Hints seem nice but don't always work. I am told to run to the police station, brute forced all combinations with splut and in the prison cell, no progress.
