i thought you fixed the bug that soft-locked the game? cause i missed a clue on the middle top and now i can't exit the final area and the auto-save puts me back in the same spot.

*WARNING Spoilers*................................ There's one detail that kind of bugs me. How did Nine Deaths Cat get the final treasure room door open? I get how Lugroan got trapped by activating the statues one by one and then walking in and the trap door closing behind him, even if it was an rookie mistake unbecoming of a thief of his caliber. However, you need three people to be able to activate the three statues at once to open the treasure room door. Did she just force it somehow or find another way in or is it just understood that she had to have had two or more others (probably mere henchmen) with her that just aren't mentioned? As far as not finding Lugroan, it seems unlikely that she wouldn't have tried something like trying the statues in any number of ways, but I guess that's another amateur thing, albeit a weird one (**cough** plot device **ahem**), that could have happened.

I absolutely LOVE how all the detectives are based on actual detectives (including those in books, like Hercule Poirot, and possibly Miss Marple?). I'm a huge Agatha Christie fan, so I love the references of her famous detectives!

I can still enter the final room with Sighret and be unable to accuse another person, I can make all but one deduction fit, which leads to a neverending loop, consisting of me clicking back and forth between the 2 conclusions.

damn i knew it nine cat and poiroar is fake from beginning but can't reach that conclusion because not enough evident X_X cause can't find that finnal seret door... Still a good game thank you for giving me a nice time :D

This is a great game, but I think there's some kind of bug on it... it's only letting me confirm Lugroan as the suspect if I confront Sighret, and the game has already confirmed that as wrong. I looked on a walkthrough of the game to see what I was doing wrong, but the only difference between mine and theirs was that they were able to change the clue on whether Lugroan failed or not. I honestly don't know what to do about this, I just want to be able to successfully get the right ending.

Game keeps bugging out on me. The bottom deduction gets filled automatically with 'logroan didn't fail'. so i can not confirm my suspect i know did it...

It's always such a treat to play a ZS Dead Detective game! I really appreciate all of the effort that you put into these, and how much you interact with your fanbase, it's so wonderful and refreshing.

Hm. Hypothetical spoilers:
Unrelated to the current plot, but I have a sneaking suspicion that if One-Eye were to become a zombie, he would remember his life as a human.

*mild spoilers* Wooh getting stuck in the trapdoor reminds me so much of Winnie the Pooh getting stuck in Rabbit's door! Was there any inspiration?
Ahahahah I perfectly know the scene you're referring to, I used to read the Winnie the Pooh's books, too, when I was little. So I guess the inspiration was there, even though I might not have done it consciously

Oh my god.. This Game Has So Much Twist And Turns the Story is Super Nice What I loved About this game is You weren't straight forward well not that straight forward we had to think outside the box what a great game.

Is this me or I can see a zombie triangle between Acka, Margh and Nine Deaths Cat???Slobber/Nine Death Cat/Cherie is playing Margh in her fingers just for "fun" Catwoman style but we have seen Acka and Margh in that sub-game at the same time. In the end another great game!!!!The only thing I dont like is that we cant choose Nine Deaths Cat as the suspect if we havent found Lugroan...I am looking forward for the next part!!!
Well, in my opinion, part of the challenge lies in finding all the clues if you want to find the real culprit. Glad you had fun, thank you for your nice comment!

Sorry for posting several times in a row, but have you considered adding a second save slot? This would allow for people to have a second one for looking at the "sub-endings" (or lack thereof), like *SPOILER* Lurogan in this one, and somewhat Rumble in Murder Case. Since you can't "undo" getting a clue, a second save slot would be better for people who want to try it without the "sub-ending" but don't want to lose all of their progress.
Thank you for all your nice comments! To answer your question, I DID consider to add a second save slot, but in the end I didn't because once you find all the clues you can still watch all the wrong endings, so that would be redundant

I...you...wow.
I should have seen this coming. I really should have. But I didn't. Glad to see you still have the knack for storytelling. That was beautiful.

The revisions to the intro, loading screen, and assorted minor changes do not go unnoticed! Looks livelier than ever (*rimshot*).

"What's the worst that could happen?"
Well, considering that you guys are the undead and this place looks like Dracula's castle, you could all be slaughtered by a maniac with a whip. Or you could be trapped inside a solar eclipse (?) for a while with some guy with a sword binding your souls to him. Or you could be dragged into an elaborate chain of riddles where you have to find a rare treasure and/or solve a mystery.
Let's go with the last one.

[mild spoiler alert] Hang on a second, if the villain didn't know how to find the treasure, then how did he write and add all the notes? If he didn't leave the notes, then who did and why?
It's explained in the correct ending... SPOILER: The Cat DID find the treasure, but she couldn't find Lurr. That's why she orchestrated this trap, so that many detectives could find her missing mentor while looking for the treasure

i've checked the walkthrough,"ask Ghvnn to lift the cage"?, i didn't get trapped and i got max score, is there something i missed?

If you don't use the TV set twice, then you will not get one of the hints and will have to begin from the scratch, cause after the hidden door is open you can't use TV set to get the trap thing

When you haven't found Lugroan and you confront Sighret, you see the option to suspect someone disguised as Poiroar, while just Poiroar only shows up as a suspect after finding Lugroan. Pretty sure it should be the other way around. Otherwise, I had a great time with this episode! Keep up the great work!

Great game as always. Nice parody of the famous detectives. This was challenging in a fun way. My favorite from the series.

yap, Guri, is right. I was going to say something like this. w/o last secret, but w/ all clues collected 3 suspects are availible - 2 wrong theories and 1 broken
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I think you wanted that the conclusion where we find all the clues but DON'T find Lugroan was that Detective Poiroar was the culprit. You did it wrong: the conclusion that is opened is that someone disguised as Detective Poiroar was the culprit - but this conclusion is locked by the guess that Lugroan did find the treasure.
Ooh dang, I'm afraid you're right. It's as you say, at that point you should be able to accuse Poiroar, while the option that someone disguised as him should be available only if you find Lugroan. I'll fix that immediately, thank you for the feedback!
