I totally agree with this and it is final nail in the coffin. It just makes it almost impossible to beat that guy unless you find some cheesy way to deal with him or some kind of OP team comp. (I had all lvl 30 characters with lvl 30 gear)
I really wanted to like this game and while it was enjoyable for some time, but that's not enough to justify pretty basic combat system that breaks because AI is so basic. And there are so many other things that could have been done in better way. (quest UI, boring "Ultimates" at start, slow progression after leveling up academy to lvl 2 and list goes on...)

I have a request for the game dev.
Please add in a script so that errands that you are doing are at the bottom and the errands you can still do are on top. It would make the UI a bit more user friendly :)

after a few days of playing I kind of resolved the issue of easily selecting your best party, just rename your 4 students by putting a "1" in front of their names and they will alphabetically come as the first 4, very enjoyable game, took me a while to realize there are quests to improve weapons and armor in the armory, also the best pally weapon will be unlocked after you upgrade your armory to lvl 3 which needs a lvl 5 academy, good luck and have fun :-)

why isnt everyone just tagging their students name with number 1-3 for questing 2-6 errand and 7 for discarding ? shouldn't be that hard to find specific student that way >_> ( tag their names as they walk in to academy first time).. as for success rates of for missions.. there is no such thing.. that % mark there stand for ur students current level xp. as for errands.. there ur students level doesnt matter @ all instead u should pick them by their dominating nature.. something like sloth is gd for nothing else than graduating and on other hand something like intuitive is gd for pretty much everything. after u read the quest text u should be able to tell what kind of characteristic the ur customer is looking from the person sent to him.

I really wish that the ability to disable party assist or keep passive like the first game was still possible because its really annoying for some of my party to basically rush to their deaths.
