Also, if one character is hurt and I want them to stay behind, it is incredibly hard to get them by themselves to stay, and to get everyone else to attack.

In all honsty I love this game it just needs more ways to be able to obtain fame. Otherwise it becomes a fest of whoring out your best students just to stay afloat as a school

Great game, but the AI could use a substantial amount of work. Too many times, one of my characters died because they wouldn't follow the "active" character.

Just to correct my previous statement, those LP stats are actually at the BEST of times. Your mileage may vary, but they're still the most effecient ways. Hooray for not having to sit through more than 1 year of gameplay since badges auto-update now. Good luck to anyone else playing this fun game! (5/5, balance the quests please)

An option to be able to move characters around into a diff slot would be helpful. I have OCD and i like my party to be in order of there number. So obviously slot one be p1 slot 2 be p2 so on so forth

Killing any melee including Apprentice is easy, just as long as you have some ranged. Put group on Assistance off(W) and control 1 char only, get group on one side of river and 1 char on other side, pull any melee mob on other side with that 1 char, when mob is near just switch to any other party member that is on other side of river and use SHIFT to teleport group to him so you dont even have to lose that 1 char who was kiting melee mob.

this is now on the home page but its rating has not improved yet... i use to contribute this games lower-score-than-it-deserves status because i had some trouble finding it the first time; now that its easy to acess, you would think the rating would go up by, i dunno, .2?

My characters kept getting hung up on the little things in life :/. Which is very disturbing when your attacking dragons and bunnies with one guy. 4/5 tho :)

You can level up ranged attackers super fast by having them attack enemies across a river after luring them there, the enemy AI makes the monster just stand there. This works well with the orcs which don't move very fast.
Alternatively you can just use a couple of healers on one unit and take out the enemies 1 at a time.

Tip on the apprentice: If you're lucky with the terrain, you can get him stuck behind a small lake and pelt at him with ranged characters.
It's gonna take a while, though...

This game reminds me of a SNES game It was either Secret of Mana or Legend of Gaia or something. Great game. Amazing gameplay and gfx!

wow this game gets boring....the whole 'game' lasts from 1-30 which is about 5 minutes of gameplay. then you start over...again, and again. And the quests never change.

Pretty good attempt but it could be a lot more interactive. Two ways you could go with it... either some direct control over the party leader with some active skills, or keep it as more of a management game with deeper customization. I like the latter idea better, so here's some suggestions for a sequel: more people to hire than just students; things like teachers to improve LP gains or alter which stats a student prefers, guest speakers that alter how students grow that week, and peripheral staff like security and gardeners for small long term gains. Your school should get attacked in various ways occasionally, like by rival schools or book thieves. You should be able to build too, dorms to increase the number of students you can have at once and libraries to give your idle students a little LP per week, stuff like that. It would make for a great game.

I love it... The description for "Hold That Meteor!"
Would have been better if it had been offered by somebody named Shin Raman.

Lucidrine is a great, quality producing designer. On the off chance that he comes back to look at this title, this game could really use a map during the hunts.

lol got apprentice with a level 17 gunslinger and some lower crap, managed to lure him to a lake and then went for groceries :) winning!

aren't Errand quests a little overpowered? I mean, you can do just about anything for no cost, and you automatically succeed...

I'd put that on the easy end of a hard badge. Having a level 30 tanker (deulist, magilancer, or dragoon) take on the "Seducing Mistresses" quest with 3 new students will nearly always provide enough LP to level them up enough for required fame. The only challenge comes when you get stuck with all low-level quests or mostly errands

To all the people who: "How I get fame?" Tip1: Let's do Royal Tournament. Tip2: Have a party of 2 powerful pg and 2 noob hired. Do errand quests. Levelup the noob until level 4-5 and then graduate them. 120+ fame for each pg.
