So I don't gain any fame for helping them to take down a dragon, but I do get some for graduating a level 1 student I had for 4 seconds?

Important tip: want to know what class your student will want to be? The stats determine it. If the higher stat is "phy", it wants to be Magilancer / Duelist. If the higher is "dex", it wants to be Mirage Caster / Gunslinger. If the higher is "mag", it wants to be Sorceress / Dragoon. Get some rookies with the higher stat you need and put then along with some veterans to do 3-4 stars missions and you can evolve them to the other class in 1 month. (However, dont waste LP, dont use students that are already lv 30.) Give it a + so people can know it. :o)

I have some doubts as to the long-term prospects of a nation that believes "dragon bait" and "hunting rogue seraphim" are appropriate training exercises for students.

Here are some tips for the hard badge.1)Women are extremely overpowered in this game. A party of 1 Mirage Caster, 2 Magilancers and 1 Sorceress is all but unbeatable. 2) Hunting quests give far more experience but Errand quests give more gold so pick accordingly. 3) There is no need to do 5 star quests, the 4 star wolves quest is the best for xp although I warn you they will swarm you at the start which is a problem for weak parties. 4) As for the actual fame you're just going to have to buy, train and graduate people non-stop. It's a bit of a grind. And don't forget to enter the tournament for 300 fame(winning). + if this helps.

There should be a formation button somewhere when hunting, I would love to have all my weak units to stay behind the unit I'm controlling to tank the enemies. It's pretty annoying when they jump to the front and die. :\

Ideas: Buying new classes, (as in upgrading the school itself). perhaps a study course that students not going in the party can use to upgrade their stats.

@Darkaros There is actually a mission that gives more exp than the wolf one. If you happen to find the apprentice, you can kill him to get 8500 + lp. and it gives a good amount of gold too. now, the apprentice is impossibly tough. so its best to get some ranged fighters and get a river between you and him so that you can slowly kill him. it takes a long time even with lvl 30 characters. so kick back and relax. + so all can see.

this game is fine but it can be really lot better. First I'd like a minimap to see were enemy are, second I'd like to know enemy stat such life, attack, armor and so on, finnaly and most important think is movement of my hero..sometimes it seems they fall in love with whater and remain idle doing nothing while my other companions die without any support. Repeat, this game has a really nice concept, maybe in a sequel implement those things?

This game is REALLY easy if you know the mechanics. Out of all the quests, the Wolf one that's 4 stars gives the biggest LP- 7000+. The Orc one and the Seductive Mistresses one give the second highest, 6000+ (also both 4 stars). The only 5 star hunt quest, killing angels, gives a pitiful amount (only about 4000 despite being much harder) and errand quests are only good for early game leveling of weak units (try to get a "Nice!" rating by sending one or two high level or skilled units; even then, its only about 2000 LP). Also, ONLY graduate students if they get the 50% bonus. Yes, even high level ones, it's worth it. Right now I'm in year 2 month 3 and I've got a buffer of 5000 fame before I lose because of this method, with 2 maxed out units and 550 income.

The battle system for this is badly broken. 4 students walk around a field, 1 of them attacks the enemy 50% of the time. I have a student who is level 5 who has yet to hit an enemy. He just stands there every time. I keep bringing him because I'm curious how long it will go on.

I feel bad for the competent students, they're forced to stick around because they're actually profitable while the other mediocre students are graduated for the sake of fame.

Lol, "Watch out, Apprentice Encountered" and i was hyping myself up for a boss fight, then he appears and gets stuck on the other side of the river so i sling spells at him until he dies XD

I encountered the Apprentice on my second mission of all time. Not knowing what he was, I rushed at him ; my own two lvl 2 App got killed. But the enemy got stuck between two spots of water, and my lvl 1 spell casters could attack freely without being hit. It's been seven hours now..

Saint, whenever you fail to accomplish the amount of fame necessary at the end of every month, you lose part of your money as a penalty. The Hard badge asks you to be able to manage to direct the magic school thru an entire year without getting any penalties.

Just something i noticed by playing the game that i did not notice in the tutorial messages. Maxed out in level, a unit I had without class changing was worth more than when class changed into magilancer. How it went down, Class on demand=dragoon. Class in question mana scholar=400 something fame at lvl 30. Class changed it into magilancer and fame worth went down to 345.

It's ok. Don't try to walk around the water, just stand there walking into it getting shot by those bandits. I'm sure the water will move out of your way if you keep trying...

This definitely deserves a sequel... Graphics rocks. Gameplay great (but IMO needs more buttons to fiddle with like give them 4 active skills each or something) and I seriously dig the sounds! Attack! On Our Way!! nicely done...

Great game, but the AI could use a substantial amount of work. Too many times, one of my characters died because they wouldn't follow the "active" character.

Well, I just got the hard mode badge and I must say this has been by far one of the most entertaining games I've ever played, but it feels lacking in replay value. Quests are fairly repeatitive and the generator dies out after a while (it was amusing once though because it left me trapped on an island in my starting point) especially with only having the grass area as a battlefield. If there was more variety in quests, like a dungeon crawling mode or pick an item while in a battle, this game could have much more variety. Upgrading only weapons is also limiting. If you could find and equip more items (healing ones would be nice, or armors with especial effects), or heck add a forging skill level to keep with the school theme, it would help to add to this replayability. This is still a very solid game, but it has a lot of room for improvement to be even better. The hidden button is in the credits btw.
