Also needs an instant replay button so you don't have to wait for the bullet to shoot off the screen when you know you're going to fail anyway. In my opinion, anyway.

I don't understand how I die on boss levels. Is it a time limit? Am I allowed to get hit a certain number of times (how many? definitely more than one)? Without any sort of indicator, it just seems random.
You need to dodge the projectiles coming from the boss, if you get hit 3 times you'll restart.
I'm working on a way to indicate this better.
Edit: Changed the health bar to show your damage instead of the boss's and gave more health to the player.

For things like the cannon smiley that stop the game play, it's very easy to forget the direction the other smileys are moving. Please give me some sort of an indicator, like an arrow pointing to its direction. That'd be great.

i got the 'WOW you are not very good at this are you?' achievement by rage quitting level 9 after i failed it hard to fail it though. got to be quick and click a corner

Level 9: I CAN NEVER GET THAT LAST ONE!! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO GET A PERFECT SCORE IF I DON'T HIT IT?!?!?!!??!?! *smashes keyboard* FDHJGFKJHFDSGKJH.... Now, where was I? Oh, right. Great game. I guess I give it a smiley? How do you do that...? (I stopped here because it's already too long...)

Hot tip: In later levels, where smileys have 2 Hitpoints, you can just start the explosion on top of them to destroy them immediately. This works especially well if you only have to kill a few to win the level and start the explosion while two of them are passing through each other.

also, level 40 boss kills me for no apparent reason - are the projectile tails really THAT long? (i'm behind him, he finished shooting 10 seconds ago, and suddenly i die)

the lazers and such from the 1st boss leave a trail behind that you can run through and get damaged on. thats how you die and don;t realize it.

lvl 40 boss and his hitting mechanic is messed up. It registers hit when there isn't one, and in other cases you can stand in fire without getting hit. Lasers do nothing, only really avoidable damage is wide burst, but it doesn't matter anyway since next rotating salvo will kill you anyway.

One or two very hard levels, final level was easy and so where all the other bosses. Great story line and a great game over all, nicely done.

it would be cool if you could upgrade your smiley, start off with it shooting just 1 ball and then upgrade it to shoot more, maybe apply the same idea to the enemy smileys too :D

On the devil boss the yellow beam attack is broke. Beams that are faded hurt me and i just die when a beam isnt even near me

Gosh I am fighting the boss and whenever I get close to killing it I lose like Thelizardreborn is it doesn't make any sense

I got stuck on level 40 for a while and was thinking it was bugged too, but it's not. You have to just keep attacking the same piece of his shield, at first it looks like it's doing nothing but eventually it'll go away. If you don't do it quick enough you die.
