I find myself purposefully leaving some enemies alive in order to get more mana and that is stupid. Puzzle Quest is way better and it came out in 2007.

Why the heck is this rated so low? The difficulty curve is perfect for someone with brain and patience. Tactic element is nice. Items and cards are neat. Progress is smooth. Story is fine. Graphs is cute. Plenty of things to do in this game. Love it.

TakashiKurokai and SleekPlatypus said all what I think about this game. 2/5 of my part, until the developer fix this irritating fail mana system. Then it can worth a 4/5. Maybe.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Power cards have a maximum level (5) while equipment cards can raise to level 10. So the mana costs will not raise forever. Still the game balance is totally off.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Is that necessary to beat the Tower? Could you please add an option of starting at lower levels of Tower? Starting at 51 is very troublesome even with mana potions. Even if you add option to start from lv 1 it would be great
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Cards should not get so expensive, right now their is no end game, because the cost breaks any chance of their being an end game. 2/5 till the game is more balanced.

I do love this game, but the cards getting exponentially more expensive as you play in mana doesn't make alot of sense. As you progress you need them more as enemies get more powerful but you still can only play them about once a round, so you dont really get more powerful, but the enemies do.

please don't end the current stage in progress when quest is complete, I can turn in the quest later myself, very frustrating

I like this game (and I liked the original). What I don't like is the "premium content" only being at Armor games. What's more, if you DO play over there, the premium content is crazy-stupid expensive. I was thinking maybe a buck or two (I would totally buy this game for my phone, plus maybe a buck or two for DLC). The premium content costs $4-6 bucks per hero unlock (there are a few). Or you can buy card packs to gamble ... for $15.
I am sad that it's priced like that because I wouldn't have minded paying a bit to enjoy some premium content and help the developers.

lots of areas seem unfinished (I just 100%'d the game, and there were several areas that never spawned all their items. The 100 floor tower is missing an ending, stuff like that).
Most of the fights are solved with the same combos. Food is a bit overpowered. Lane changing is almost never useful (aside from 2 boss fights). Poison is almost never useful. Bleeding is actually never useful.
Most of the items aren't worth buying at any stage in the game. Pets are almost entirely worthless.
Still, the game was fun enough for me to finish it. I'm happy in spite of my criticisms.

In case you're wondering how some skills work, you may find this useful:

Figuring out how some of them work took quite a bit of effort, but you don't have to because I did. :-)

Is there any way to heal your party outside the battle. I'm on 3rd quest and still cannot access the kitchen in the tavern to cook my meal. Thanks :P

I noticed that sometimes your health bar displays the wrong value, so you think your fine, but you're actually dying. The death warning does help alleviate this though.

The enemies past level 7 are all bullshit insane hard, especially that damn blue dragon that only gets more abilities the more abilities you use against it... And it can't be slowed
The game is severely imbalanced and needs nerfing to a ton of enemies
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Solid concepts, but really terrible balance. I can do fine for 100% of the battles, and then get a bad sort and get completely annihilated with no chance of making ANY actual decisions. "Deciding" to grind in order to be able to survive poor boards is not a decision, it's a "screw you, and screw your time" to the player for having played the game.

Needs better in-game explanation of spells and way better balancing (enemy strength / mana-system / leveling for cards) - more or less the same problems with all MARTINIRosso games. Devs, you surprise me with your skill to still not improve what everyone has suggested despite it is suggested for every game ;D
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I really love the idea. But please rework the mana system. And allow us to go down the tower again! That would ease the grinding..

Biggest bug in this game: When you discover recipes, there is large change the "You've found a new recipe" screen is stuck until reload whole browser. You can still do things and leave Kitchen in the background, but note does not go away when pressed "Ok"...
Very irritating, but otherwise fun game.

The first Dangerous Adventure was one of my all time favorite games on Kong. When I saw this came out I was super excited and looked forward to playing it. An hour into it, I totally despise it. Too much of a grind, difficulty ramps up really quickly and the mana system is hot trash. Hopefully I like your next endeavor because this one left a bad taste in my mouth.

stuck at 27% because I keep doing each level over and there is nothing else to do on the 5 levels I have done except hit EXIT....I have completed every level, yet to receive the necessary items at each level. kind of suck have to do each level over and over and over again.....

This is a very interesting concept for a game. With some polish I can see this going to a mobile app or to Steam for sale. I know I'd buy it.
It does seem a bit grindy but I am enjoying the stones gameplay so haven't noticed it too much.
Otherwise, good job. Keep at it and thanks for sharing!

There was so much potential, but I don't find repetition very exciting, and the game would be repetitive without the grind. The grind makes it unpalatable.

Bugs: Hunter's skill Distraction starts at 200 mana and every level increases cost by 15 without improving the skill. Thief's Poisoning level 4 is lower damage than Poisoning level 3.

#HankMurphy food "start battle with № mana", mana botle, mana channel + fist of fury, backline push on slow enemy to manafarm

Mana system SUCKS! I got from tower 25-40 non-stop so my mana was always max and I could play spell cards. Once I stopped and started from level 40 with ZERO mana I got destroyed!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Is there a way around this issue where you have no chance of starting at tower level 50+ with 0 mana? You need to let us choose a floor to start on so it becomes possible to have some mana by the harder floors.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Incredibly grindy, which i don't mind that much but coupled with the broken mana system it becomes super frustrating. Why are the cards becoming so much more expensive to use when you need to use them more often makes no sense.
