I've noticed if you put your drunks on the front lines and one in the rear you gain in two ways, First they have the highest health to withstand hits and when the special power is used regardless of how many are still standing the special skill still utilizes the total not the remaining soldiers.

I found this game rather lackluster, honestly. 1. There's no effective difference between levels besides length. 2. Grinding is not fun. It exists to pad out play time. 3. All special attacks are functionally identical. 4. I would have liked the opportunity to appease the more easily angered villages 5. I'd also like to be able to review what each of my units is capable of. A page that lets you play back info that you've received seems an easy enough thing to program.

Well, from a game maker notorious for bad games and ignoring criticisms (this is the same maker of strikeforce kitty crap) I'm not holding my breath for productive updates. Neverthless, it's much better than SFK. I only say that because it's playable. The end boss is too weak, and the gameplay gets a little repetitive. I'm assuming any unit mass upgraded will do fine as the first one I did had few if any problems. Think I still have four islands, but it's all pretty much the same every island so I don't really care to get them. Ending is terrible, you give me a story but no decent conclusion to it.

Hint: When taxing your islands, keep taxing until you see one or two baring their teeth. Then keep going until you see a black circle show up. After this, you can click twice more without them actually rebelling.

Lol, when you kill the boss, it just return to the main screen and it's like nothing happened, and like people said, the boss is easier than the second circle islands

Everyone knows the boss is too weak. But it is BORING as well. We need more bosses and for the main boss to be stronger. There needs to be some reward for maxing out a character level. Ship barrages need to be cheaper to upgrade. Everything needs to CD a little faster, even if it costs damage. Also, the enemy should only hit vikings in the front-line unless they use arrows or unless they run out to hit someone and are no longer behind your front line. Also, emphasize the new unlocked troops more; I felt like the vikings' special abilities should be passive abilities which proc every now and then while the special abilities could, instead, be upgraded versions of their passive abilities. For instance; berserkers special could cause them to only throw, safely behind the front lines. --Leveling needs to give you something other than max-troop increase btw

I loved the game, but the endboss can be beaten with ANY possible combination of army units. i tried like 100 combinations, everyone REKT the boss

I like the game, was going to give it a 5...but with an ending that bad...or should I say no ending, really my hands are tied, it would be against all gaming policy *checks rule book*, yep there is no way I can now, sure wish I could.

you need to make an unlimited stage, so that way we can still get levels and gold after we have defeated EVERYTHING and have nothing to do. Also, achievements like fully upgraded one unit- 10% more gold per enemy, or slight increase of attack damage. I think that If you added these to your game it would increase the overall like of the game.

The better you are the lower level you can get. If you don't fail enough you can't get enough cash to max all skills and islands. Even trying to tax the heck out of everyone, they never revolt enough to make the level repeatable. this could be fixed if you got a cash reward for beating the boss but you don't get anything for winning. 2/5

Thank you for this little pearl. I had a lot of fun , really, nice music, well-made graphics and excellent gameplay . Well Done. skills and diversity of small units are really excellent. It's very difficult to innovate in this gameplay but you've made it. I have no criticism to make , these are games like yours that give me pleasure to visit Kongregate , a game not too long , not too short. You have chosen the hard way and you managed! Brilliantly. Bravo.

This game is kind of stupid. I have eleven units on my team, the spearmen, and Vikings and keg guy. The spear and Vikings are level 7. I'm facing an island that's level 2-4. It's impossible to beat. I have eleven units on my team, and I have a wave of at least 15 enemies at a time. How many enemies attack at once? All fifteen. How many friendlies attack at once? One. One at a time. I tried to give this game a shot but nope.

Boss was extremely easy. especially with an army of only ringleaders.
480% damage boost on all of them? You only have to use their ability once anyways because they totally demolish the boss...
The other levels I did with 6/7 ringleaders and the rest Thor guys maxed out.
Didnt know the dog guys also had a bow and arrow till later when I tried to kill the boss in other ways.
Definitely a fun game. Would be nice to see what the names of each unit is and maybe add some passives?
The main reason the boss is so easy is because you don't really have to wait for abilities to recharge so you just use them all at once. So maybe have him flee or something and change form or whatever?

Yeah, I agree with most of these people about the difficulty curve. Although my problem with it is I'm level 10 I think and can only barely beat the lvl 2-4 stages. I think it's because I invested so much money into my islands

The game sort of freezed (the enemies nor my unites moved) when i was figthing the final boss, but the abilities recharged, soooo I killed him with arrows and rocks but, since my unites didn't move it was a lost of time :S

super effective: piggyback the ships arrows with the ringleader before the battle, the arrows fire while everyone is paused for the ringleader animation and this keeps some of your enemies from inflicting any damage at all.

Thank you for this great game. It has everything a game needs to be enjoyable. But adding both an other isle named ''endless mode'' and aditional tooltips (when mouse over icons/stats(which would make new players to get into the game faster)) would be awsome! 4/5

Decent game -- I agree with the consensus the boss is a bit too easy. BUG: sometimes all opponents are dead (Life = 0) and the party will not celebrate and advance to next challenge. Also, unless one purposefully retries a level, it is nearly impossible to max all troops and ranged volley attacks. ★★★☆☆
