Equipment should not take up Backpack slots. If you are WEARING something, logically it would not still be in your backpack. I also hate that I can accidentally unequip something just by clicking on it wrong.

There are a lot of "idle" games out there, but as far as I know, this is the only game with an overabundance of "idle" mechanics yet which actively discourages idle play with spontaneous timed CAPTCHA requirements. For the first time in my entire life, a game is actively trying to punish me for using the toilet. And you thought this was such a fabulous idea that you copy-pasted the same game and released it again twice? Amazing.

I GOLed (Groaned Out Loud) when I saw that this game had another BOTD this week. Isn't a game supposed to rate higher than 3.5 stars to be a BOTD? And how did this game manage to get 3.5 stars?

Is there any particular reason (besides bad game design) that I can use a steel axe to cut Lv. 1 wood, but can't use a steel fishing rod at Lv. 1 fishing spots?

Ask for sawdust in market, mine sand to buy. Yeah, it's obtuse as hell, but beneath the intentional confusion it's extremely simple. 5 to start ought to work.

This game is defined, above all else, by tedium. Everything is automated so as to be boring, so instead 99% of the challenge comes from the game seemingly deliberately making it as confusing as possible; laying out maps that look like they were designed by Jackson Pollock and not telling you where the one thing you're looking for is on them, and linking skills to each other in ways in which the game refuses to elaborate. The breaking point for me was the fungiculture quests, which were available right from the beginning, even though, according to the Wiki, "You can only do it on sawdust, which you can only lay on your own island after you buy it for 35K, and only after you've unlocked the dungeon with lv. 30 carpentry (which, by the way, you can also only begin to start leveling up after unlocking the island)." And again, this is something it presented as an entry level quest.

It takes 708 farming XP for level 10. you get 3 XP for clearing debris. You need to clear debris 236 times. I died 4 times doing this.
I got 1 captcha check which gave me 100 XP and I put that into farming so that was a nice boost.

I like how crowd mentality works. Some people decimated the game with negative comments and got a lot of likes, and some people wrote long constructive negative feedback and got tons of negative points.

Why are enemies just standing there... menacingly? They don't move around. They all just face the camera. There are no movement animations and no attack animations.

Warning: don't play this game for hundreds of hours to get meaningless badges unless you actually enjoy it. There are plenty of games to play where you can get the same difficulty badges faster. If you want to play something like this, you might as well play Runescape, which is a classic for a reason, but it's way better. That's why millions of people are playing that game. I can honestly not see the fun in this game, but if you like it, good for you.

I agree. It would be different if you were just missing out on a positive thing (like a gift or reward) but when it also has a negative effect, that seems a bit extreme. Are there other games that have a negative effect for being AFK?

Being AFK is not the same as botting. I wish the captcha at least made some sort of sound to notify me like the level up sound does. I'm not going to sit and stare at the screen while my guy chops wood.

Lifeless game. Bad graphics with no character/enemy animations. The enemies are just standing there and are waiting for you to attack them

@archerbob: You can both destroy and sell them. However, that one is an event item. It's rare and decorative, but doesn't boost your stats.

@moskaubear Dude, there already exists a """cheat""" and it's called "cordial mode." Just hover over the gear icon, click "fighting mode" to change your style. Way more HP focus that way.

It is such a hassle to have a tool for every profession - limiting the inventory space to 40 is ok, but then et least have me take my tools with me without using up space for them

@Censionate: That is entirely impossible. Nothing can attack you if you don't approach it. You probably lost HP by fishing the debris.

I was idly fishing for debris when I heard a horrifying noise. Turns out a chicken killed me when my back was turned. It's always the ones you least suspect!

There really is not more to the game than the BOTD. The other badges exist, but you'll be grinding them against your will because of the sunk cost fallacy. You'll be wishing you never started playing further than the BOTD. I challenge anyone to come up with a reason to play this game. You just click on something and wait until the skill you're training increases slowly. It's all so static. Everything has a single angle instead of 4 angles (1 for each direction of movement) and no animations when walking or attacking or doing anything else. Also no music.

I mean, it's an anti-bot measure, a932010 (and anyone else complaining about the random CAPCHA when gathering), and you get free exp if you want to either get the botd faster or if you want to bother to see if there's more to the game than just the botd.

Confused because mining Iron doesn't work? There's TWO TYPES of iron deposits: The most common is called "Iron Vein" which requires level 25 mining and a STEEL pickaxe (which you probably don't have yet). But the other deposits are simply called "Iron" that physically look a bit taller. They still require level 25 mining, but the base-level "IRON Pickaxe" can successfully be used on them. You can find both kinds of deposits, side-by-side in "Dungeon I" by coordinate (67,15). ("Dungeon I" is accessible from Dorpat.)

Not bad if not because of all the bad features.
1) Losing equipments on death is no doubt a -5 feature, especially when there is no noticeable low health alert or stopper mechanisms.
2) Unlike other skills, it's always 2xp per damage for health (4 if 2x exp event). There is almost no reason fighting tough enemies as you can die, and it becomes terribly BORING at higher level.
3) Most of the quests, considering the required quantity and reward, are unattractive.

Does the captcha's bug out on anybody else and not let you submit the answer? Not gonna lie, it's actually really irritating knowing that it's possible to get banned because of glitchy captcha.
