hahahaha, what a game.
you TOUCH THE MONSTERS trying to close your distance and lose hp? fair enough, I demand that they suffer the same fate. Oh no? 1/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I hate when the WHOLE screen of enemies decides to come after you because you attacked one of them....kinda BS (especially when there are more than 4 and half of them are ranged enemies)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Every enemy in this game needs to have its health cut by 2/3rds. When you only do 1-2 damage per swing, 30 hp on each enemy in a cluster of monsters isn't "challenging", just "tedious".
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
what kind of zelda knock off is this? they shoulda just made a game about a crackhead who jumps on, i dont know, walking mushrooms, while chasing stars, diving in pipes...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Well, I was going to finish this game before I commented, to try to be fair, but I can't do that. After finishing leviathan, I have absolutely no clues as to where I go next. No new keys, no quests I haven't completed, and I can't find any new quest npcs. I also tried swimming everywhere in the overworld that I could, and found nothing at all.

Unfair!Always when i hit some monster with MUCH MORE health than me,then other foolish monster chase at me and i cant hit them becouse they already hit me each second, this makes me die quick...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
this is really boring and annoying, and i can't even pass the first mission because at the second place(where you see your first monsters)there is a wall and a stone at the entrace that tells me that i don't have the ability to push it.
now the badge for the apocalypse NAO is impossible!DEVELOPER: _l_
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Terrible game. Not even worth killing 25 enemies to get Apocalypse Nao achievement. Is the person that decides which games to highlight related to the one that made the game?

Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Uninspired level design; slow grindy gameplay; predictable/non-existent story; stolen graphics (from Zelda Oracle of [Ages/Seasons]); without a doubt the worst game to ever get badges, despite being featured. Ouch; I got my badges and I'm out; 1/5.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Sorry for saying this,.. but it these Zelda rip off really annoy me. All the trees, the level tiles the enemys, the houses, sounds,.. Couldn't enjoy the game itself.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
There's the skeleton of a good game here, I know it. Enemies bypass "tough" into the realm of "gratuitously beefy," even building fully strength and grinding for the best possible weapons. The writing is shaky at best and abysmal at worst, often unclear and certainly never compelling. The graphics, which have been taken wholesale from Zelda and RPG Maker, clash horribly with each other. I found myself just glazing over all the text and just skimming for however many of what I needed to kill, which I NEVER do. This game could use a lot of improvement, but it's got a good base system to work with.

are you kidding me??? i got poisoned and i dont have a antidote and i am not even close to a shop and because of that i need to start over everything??? At least let the poison bring me down to 1 hp.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Also, poison is a real pain. It never wears off it seems, and can kill you. If you save while poisoned and no cure on you, pray you can make it to a shop and buy some from that point, or your whole game progress/save is screwed.
Also, if you load from save and are poisoned, the game does not indicate the poison, but you will lose health all the same.

I got stuck in the cave on the island in the graveyard. If you push the boulder one square, your character will squeeze past it. For whatever reason, the mushrooms in this cave are indestructable. I have no way of getting out of this cave, other than by refreshing the page and starting over from my last save point.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Decent, if mediocre game. What killed it for me was lack of temporary invulnerability when you get hit. I died way too many times from getting stuck on a monster and being pummeled into oblivion when I couldn't get away.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I see no point in a level system at all for a zeldaish game, nor do I see any point to weapon specialization, especially when all the weapons are pretty much the same.
I mean if you got nothing, maybe you should have pirated all the good ideas from zelda, and just add your own twists. I haven't even encountered one puzzle yet. Just lots of boring travel with boring combat for the purposes of boring quests and stats that don't seem to do much, set in primitive graphics and boring tin-e music.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It's like Legend of Zelda, if you were to take out all the good stuff from it, and give nothing back. Zelda has better music, better graphics (well, maybe a tie with original zelda) Clever puzzles, the feeling like you can discover hidden treasures in nooks and crannies, especially if you are clever/the feeling like you are exploring in a wide adventure.
After zelda 1, all storylines were better then this game too.
This game, has none of that. It has a useless level system (ok, I put several points in strength and my start weapon still pinpricks monsters for 1 point of damage half the time- ping ping ping ping ping ping ping ping ping ping ping ping ping ping ping ping ping ping ping ping ping ping-few, killed that snake, now I just need to kill 14 more.....)

Some people are saying this game is just like Zelda on the NES. They are correct, and that is not a bad thing. This is one of a few games like this that I've actually played to the end. Bravo! 5/5 for you!!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Fun game, obviously combat is simple to an extreme. The ability to move while slashing wouldve been cool. I look forward to the next game to see the progress you make. 4/5

That moment you realise that the game you'd played months ago finally has badges. And that your Save File has been lost...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I saved when I was under the effect of the venom in the cemetery... Now I don't have an antidote, and I don't have the time to reach a shop, so I'm dead. Nice realism.

this game really annoys me, example : i talk to someone i am done and click on close but i cant move anymore (need to click the game again))

Things I dislike - Poor design choices in RPG Maker and poorer ripping off other games. I know it's a free thing, but so far, I dislike how much I recognize. It feels more like you took things you liked and put them together, not made a game yourself.

Daggers are heavily inferior compared to swords. They both have the same swing animation so no uniqueness from the dagger. The dagger has half the range of a sword so you'll get hit easily. The dagger may swing faster but the knockback is the same which is extremely inefficient because you have a toothpick's range. There are so much flaws but I doubt that it'll be changed.

Instead of losing HP whenever I touch the water without having learnt how to swim, I rather not be able to touch the water at all.

GARBAGE. Ridiculously long game with ridiculous dead ends, ridiculous monsters with ridiculous health level, a ridiculous non-ending, and THEN he asks you to donate?! Absurd. BY THE WAY, do not take the nearest staircase when you have 2 options, he's ridiculous enough to make you run the whole dungeon all over again.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
All in all a fun game. LOTS of flaws that need to be worked out and honestly...auto save would have been nice. It is SOOOOO annoying to gain 5 levels only to be killed and have to start over. Either that or give us more "computers." i'll go 2/5 here. No matter how fun it is, it is flawed on it's most basic level.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
ANY sort of boss fight would have broken the monotony... but not even anything at the end except for a POORLY timed request for a donation. Great... the guy who made the monsters was my dad. This has been done 48,000 times. 0 originality, every monster fight is drawn out, points should not be needed to use swimming and pushing... Meh, I don't even want to go any further on my rant to preserve space for other users to complain. 1/5

Thought it was cool he keeps snake teeth as a trophy... but then a girl bragged about her t.v. and I'm pretty sure I robbed her... then... I started keeping the eye balls of bandits? I'm no hero, I'm a psychopath
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Fun concept, but it takes too much to kill each enemy. Right now I am going to have to level up considerably if I'm going to go much further, and I don't know if I want to waste my time bonking enemies on the head for however many hours to get that strength. Wouldn't be as bad if you drastically cut the power of the enemies---I don't play many RPGs because I hate mindlessly killing the same enemies just to power up, and that's exactly what I'm at right now
