I found a glitch in Pandora´s cave. Don´t walk further in just walk left on the block in the middle and you will teleport to the last boss!

Here are some suggestions for this game:
1) Separate slot(s) exclusively for rings only,
two preferred.
2) Potions that healed at 500, 1000,
and ALL, HP increments.
3) Magic Spells for healing dealing with enemies.
4) Places to go for recovery of full health and status.

Wish I could reset my Stats & Skills. Not a bad game. A little tedious But I'll always be a sucker for this "Zelda type" game. 4/5

This game has far too many flaws regarding balance and polish. Having beta testers would have been a sensible idea, or at least taking player's comments into consideration. This game is all grind and nothing else.

If anyone's having trouble with enemies having too much HP.. spec XP, Gold (10 is enough, tbh. I'm swimming in gold I can't spend), then Axes. Since enemies blink with invulnerability, the faster weapons don't add much DPS. I rarely had to hit anyone more than 6 times to kill it since I only got 20 Luck, 10 Vitality and the rest into Strength. Turns out I didn't need to boost anything but Strength :P Max Berserker Hit after Axes, of course, then Natural Armor (need 3 Sword Mastery). Sadly Berserker Hit only applies to Axes and Maces, or Bows could've been nice with two Crit skills.

so, the best way to beat monsters at the start of the game is to pin them against a tree and smack them repeatedly with your wooden sword? I feel unclean.........

The entrance to hell, the most feared place of all, is behind some rock. That's some great placement; why the hell did anyone build a village near it.

poisoned death just told me to stop playing this game. Lost 3 levels , almost had the whole cemetery place cleaned , all lost ? 2/5

I really like this and i have given it 5/5 because im having a blast. But i find i super annoying that the screens shift like this instead of smooth movement. Oftentimes i find myself trying to get to the "next screen" only to find something i cant see yet is blocking me. Ofte i run into monsters who steals my health. So.. scrolling along would be supersupercool if possible.

OMG, the 12800 coins golden slayer is not a sword, it is a sworK! The sword mastery does not work on this piece of crap! ARGH!

Config panel: You let me rebind the controls! That's really unexpected for a flash game like this. I wasn't expecting that at all, so that's a nice bonus.
Somethings I wasn't bothered by but I wish were different:
The menus: I wish I didn't have to use the mouse at all? I used a gamepad for the game and I would have liked to been able to navigate menus without the mouse. But, the inventory system sorta mandates that... so I guess that's not really fixable.

What's the deal with the house at the northen plains near windy village? There's nothing inside except an unbreakable mushroom, some grass, and a stone

Poisoned without Poison Status, died -> Load Game -> Still Poisoned -> No chance to survive this Game anymore -> Rage Quit.

So much backtracking for such a linear game, and it's not always clear where you're supposed to be headed next. More than once I was out of main quests and there was nowhere obvious to go. The worst was after getting swim. You should indicate that the player is supposed to go way back to the northern checkpoint and swim west from there. Also, the teleportation gimmick at the end to make the player do the same cave twice was stupid and pointless. People, in the last cave, DO NOT TAKE THE LEFT SIDE STAIRS, THEY TAKE YOU BACK TO THE ENTRANCE! But you can bypass the "kill 20 red slimes" quest if you just swim around that island. The maze is crap, the game could do without it. Remove the poison mechanic (it's crap) and balance the monster HP. The map is way too small to see anything worthwhile, and the layout is totally unnatural. If you give the player the ability to swim, let them swim for F's sake! The book mechanic is pure player hate.

sh!t ... I saved the game when poisoned and now I'm stuck dying over and over because I have no potions and can't reach a shop... >.>

It is off putting how much has been taken from Zelda games or made to look just like it. Confused the heck out me when I had to kill 10 green slimes; those were octoroks.

The UI for this game is kind of annoying. If you're going to make the majority of the controls on the keyboard then you should be able to navigate EVERYTHING with the keyboard. Having to switch from both hands on the keyboard to the mouse and back is really annoying.

poison really should wear off eventually... I levelled up 3 times in a row and didn't have any antidotes and died while walking back to the shop to buy some

Not a terrible game overall considering some of the awful, tragic game design. There is no indication of which stones you can move and which you can't making the puzzles a matter of guesswork. No locations are labelled making it hard to find where to turn in quests and where to go next, which might not be such a problem were the map not a totally unintuitive smattering of random crap. The enemies are really annoying in all the worst ways with guaranteed kill poison (carry antidotes, lots of 'em, always!), enemy spawns at the very edge of the screen where they can hit you during a scene transition, and very tough enemies that require no strategy. Given all that, the rapid leveling is pretty satisfying. Character build: 20 points to Student, 20 to Swords, 20 to Natural Armor, 3 to Axes, rest to Berserker.

Is there a way to zoom in on the map so you can tell where the shops etc. actually are? If not, you should add that. Otherwise, thanks for the fun! :-)

I totally read the last line in the instructions as "You can change the controls anytime in the octopus menu" and now I am disappointed.

In place of an ending, you ask us to "Donate so you can have awesome graphics for the next installment" -- but if you're just going to rip off all your art from Legend of Zelda and RPGMaker, what do you need donations for?

It's strange how bad this game is. It uses the same tried and true button mashing top down 4 directional scroller formula made popular in the original Zelda and successfully modified into modern games that include Hero's Arms, also badged on Kongregate. But then the developer makes what has to be a conscious decision to make it really terrible. Slow move speed, low damage, minimal sense of progress...and that's just things that can be fixed with trivial numerical tweaks. Of course there are the more complex game elements like having any characterization at all, or making a good story, but these come later. It's very possible that even with significant improvements, this game would still rate no higher than a 2. So 3.47? Kongregate badges games based on rating. MMOs get badged because they have a dedicated following that rates it high if no one has to get badges, so it's unfortunate, but understandable. What's the excuse for these badges?

This is going to sound very harsh, but I am only being so critical to try and give you some useful feedback on your game. So, grain of salt? :\
Here's what your game does badly.
The EXP System: The main problem I find with this game is all the grind, but the grind is there because you need exp to get levels, and beat the bigger monsters. Why is the EXP system in the game at all? The build choices are very very shallow, and almost unnoticeable as you level up. If you build incorrectly, the game will punish you for it, but there's very little to cue into to figure out if you're doing it right or not.

Am i misunderstanding the skills? I have upped student several times but get the same amount of exp, i ave upped sword mastery now once and do the same amount of damage with sword. Is each level of a skill just a fraction?

Great game, but there is one issue, that keeps bugging me: why make menus that are only controlled by mouse in game, that controlled purely by keyboard?! It's extremely irritating to switch between them.

tons of weapons but they almost behave as the starting sword except from bow.The most annoying thing in fighting melee is enemy being knocked out of your range.Bow and arrow cost too much to use frequently

If you fail to keep a monster at bay: inescapable death as it runs into your hitbox and slowly whittles away at your hp, while your swing can't reach it...
