seriously, in 22 levels of kongregate i think that it's my first comment, but anyone more think that it's a copy or a big mod of zelda? the monsters, the rocks, the bush, the maps...
That's my first thought of the game, maybe i just started but, the skin of the people it's the same also!
I wont judge, i just wait that was a great game like zelda.
If not... just only a bad copy sorry.
Nice work with the quest and menus.

I finished the game with the following stats, str 30, dex 4, vitality 34, luck 31...20 points in swords, 20 in armor, 3 axe mastery (so i could put points in berzerker hit) berkerker 1, money collector 16, and student 9. I was level 72...i used a jayisgames.com guide to show all the quests starts and ends. the game took time to finish so save at all places you find once as they teleport.

@Death2Zombies, it has a 3.48 rating because that's the average of everybody's individual rating, yes, because they like the terrible plot line, yes, because it affects them, to add depth to the story, because it makes him seem vulnerable, then he overcomes his weakness and you feel progression, consumerism is cool.

"DERP this game sucks DERP" Then why does it still have a 3.48 rating??? Do you understand how a RATING system works? Why do Kongers flock to retardations like 12yo Star Wars prequel fanboys with an extra chromosome flock to JarJar Binks and that terrible plot line? Clones V Robots??? Why does anyone give a crap about the war then? Why does Anakin fly off to save one random clone?? Why does Anakin lose when Obi has the high ground, but Obi wins when Darth Maul has the high ground?? This game and your comments + it's rating = Star Wars Ep I-III = no Friggin sense. You people are dumb, believe in Consumerism.

Don't play this game. If you want you should play on hacked flash game site.
the story is weak, gameplay is bad and There are uncomfortable results from bad scripting.

man... I can already see where this is going from the intro sequence. which had one of the chiptunes from Zelda oracle of ages...

@SpaceMoose Re: swim manual. You have to give it a skill point. After you get the manual an icon of his head in water shows up in your skills & stats. Click it & give it a point the same way you did (?) for the pushing skill.

This game is a joke. The entire final island can be bypassed. You don't need to fight anything at all. You can get to the other side of the gate that requires a key and right into the final "dungeon" by walking on the beach a little bit. A goblin gives you a quest and the other side of her teleports you randomly to the guy and you get a game finished screen. Kind of lame. This kind of ending invalidates the entire game.

So I accidentally walked off of the map. I was in open water for a square and now I'm just walking on white. A lot of bugs in this. There are parts of this game that are really frustrating just because the enemies are coming at you from the bottom right and you have no way to attack or dodge and their arrows and poison hurt a bit when you can't do anything but take damage and not give any back.

Really enjoyed your game! Please send $$ for carpal tunnel surgery soonest! (Thanks. I really want to find that swim manual!).

the poison is absolute bullshit. i take maybe 100 damage from enemies but 400 every couple seconds from poison?? wtf is that???? and the poison only goes away with an antidote or if you die. bullshit.

Tips:
1. Keep at least 5 antidotes on you at all times. at Isle of Doom up this to 10.
2. Go Sword. Axe is to slow at the end of the game to push back the skeletons.
3. To use manuals you have to put a skill-point into them.
4. After you get the swimming manual you want to go back the area where you first met the crabs and swim West.
5. There are almost no side quests worth doing. Especially end game.
6. If you want to respawn a 'room' for easy farming go 2 'rooms' away.
7. Put almost all points into Str. You get enough vit just from leveling. Luck is good early on.
8. Skill points cap at 20. 20 points into student early helps a bunch later on.
9. Don't play this game.

I can't even finish the first freaking quest. I always die before getting anywhere close to the town. I don't have enough health and the enemies take 30 seconds each to kill. WTF!!!

mistake on the map near the end as well. You require a key to get to pandora's cave, but due to that mistake you can skip half the path you would have to take. Other than that, I enjoyed the game's simplicity though

how do you break the rocks? the things that actually look like rocks, not the carved stone things. stuck in the sewer :(

I'm disappointing in the fact that this game has stolen sprites, area layouts, and even sounds from Links awakening on the Original gameboy and gameboy color...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Totally predictable ending with a lack of "boss fight" anywhere at all, its like just killing creepers all the while.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Needs a continue option that lets you keep your stuff and respawn at the last save point. That and one of the first quests being "kill 10 things" has left a bad impression, though.

nice to get 90% of the way thru then end up poisoned with no way to remove it and no way to complete the game except clearing data and starting all over again.

I wonder whether the author played his own game... nothing like completing an annoying quest just to get a pathetic weapon. And the combat is so repetitive.
