When she approach a building that looked familiar, that glitches looked like she was entering on a liminal space. Strange!

Submachine was my first ever point and click game, which got me into many of the games which are point and click. The fact that this is what happened before it all is so well done. It's a true story, well done.

That awkward moment when after years of play-troughs you finally realize this game is related to the sub machine series. Also arguable because of the final photo... the movie series "cube".boom..mind blown

wow!!!So that explains why there are so many old fashioned buildings in submachine. In a way it copied lot of its first creator`s world. This is so amazing. Now all we Need is the bit betwee this game and the first submachne game.Curious if there will be another game. And I think now I know why there are so many gas vials. Probably they contain that Helium substance for the machine to work. You see them, same as the wooden sticks and theimages for the layers everywhere in the series and here. This is so awesome!!!!I never thought there would be a connection between the games when I started covert front. AWSOME!!!!!!!!

WHAT? Awwww, come on, don't cliffhanger me like that! D: Arrrgh... This was (is???) a good series, though, holy crap. :D I also love the fact the main character is an actually tough female, for once. She ain't no damsel in distress, and I like it! :D

Slightly better then Covert Front 3... But i meet Carl Von Toten (who's name i had forgotten and had to find in the walkthrough) who says; -"I only know what you know, nothing else.", and then starts to explain things (like the machine) i dont know... And then suddenly the outside wold exists again. (Play to understand.) Finally meeting the real CvT and escaping -leaving all teh dangerous machines in the hands of the bad guys... Not a lot of logic going on...

I typed door, key, window, carpet, armchair, picture, helium, and Toten. The clue is in Covert Front 1/2/3 (I don't remember): a paper note talks about a machine that can do everything you wish...

Kara left the tought machine in plain sight. It's only a matter of time before German war machines start popping out of thin air. Well done Kara, you will be awarded the Iron Cross...

for those who have not played, the submachine series yet, the reason it is left so wide open is because it is the start of the submachine, the device von toten was working on is the compass in submachine 3.

Lesson: German soldiers are deaf (and blind.) They didn't notice that Kara landed the airplane basically on top of them, and the guard also doesn't notice when she breaks open the grating with a crowbar...

Turns out that Kara is really just the main character of sub machine in disguise. Who knew? Also, the person who has the ability to kill the bad guy, ACTUALLY KILLS THE BAD GUY :) With a crow bar no less.

I really enjoyed the game, especially the keyboard puzzle. I actually thought it was done very well, although it may not have been as good as the first three.

i have to say... this one was average compared to the others. u know the problems as others have stated them... so i will not repeat them. the game it self was confusing and not really worth playing. the ending was abrupt and had no actual meaning... 2/5

Anyone notice the two Submachine references? The chair Von Toten sits in after the keyboard puzzle is from Submachine and the gadget that he's working on at the end is the compass from Submachine 3: The Loop.

Wait, I recognize that force field...is the point supposed to be that Von Toten invented the submachine? I do remember that at some point in the submachine series it said that the first submachine was invented sometime in the early 20th century. I do agree though that that's not a super final finale. It's still appropriate I suppose, but I'm not sure I'd call it epic if the point is supposed to be that they just quietly slip away and we have no idea what happens next...

So... after all this Karl von Toten is the one behind the submachine (or at least attempting to understand it). Nice one, tying both games together.

It took my a while to actually play the game, the first six or seven minutes were spent goofing around with the plane that moves as your mouse moves in the starting screen.

Yet another delightful foray into the black ops heroine Kara.
Full of atmosphere and a budding realisation that something about this is awfully familiar.
We now have a beginning, some wibbly bits 'round the latter half of the middle, the end approaching and all we need is a link between the (so far) unconnected bits.
I hope this was suitably obscure and will therefore not spoil anything.
Full marks as per usual. Brill game.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! the submachine, oh no not the submachine!! The brick walls, the force field, the device from the loop! Quick Kara, stop it before it's too late!!! ...hehe just kidding, I love the submachine!

is this meant as a prequel to submachine...? theres too many references to be easter eggs... and the forcefield etc is really similar... and von totens room is a submachine cell as well... is this the beginning of the subnet? all the equipment left by explorers in the later submachines most of it is in von totens lab... mind=blown
