like all the other games of the series : artwork and atmosphere deserve 5/5, playability and game enjoyment deserve 1/5. We have no clue about what to do, we collect objects that don't seem useful at all and we can even use some of them on useless spots, making the thing even more confusing. Sorry, I started playing gems when graphics were awful and I enjoyed some of them a lot... so I forget how beautiful the art from this one are... I just HATE having to rely on using-everything-everywhere-to-see-if-it-does-something or having to watch a walkthrough just to know I had to do a nonsensical thing to go on in the game. I really would like to love this games, but these games don't love me.

Great artwork but very complicated and bad for those with borderline OCD as they cannot walk away no matter how stuck they are. Where do I put this third fuse!?

I love the music, the characters, the vague sense that something has gone terribly wrong but I can't quite say what. You really have done an amazing job at creating an entire world with this sense of melancholy everywhere you look.

I also like this series cause it's kinda mysterious and fanciful (and a bit spooky, too).
However, the in game world is just too external so that I donno what to do.. (only very imaginative ppl will be able to play these games without walkthrough..)

I just looove the style of the drawings, and it seems very interesting. But I am so confused..I don't know what should I do in this game...

Amazing game as always. Your series is the best I've ever played and I await each on anxiously! Thanks for giving us a backpack and tons of storage space in this game!! Totally a 6/5. Perfection!

On the first floor of the lighthouse with the dragon-looking thing, if you click near the bottom of the screen you can see the rest of the room, and there is a backpack to store items:D

A little hint - dont use shop. You dont need anything from there. You also dont need to sell anything aswell. It is impossible to get stuck this way. Also, most of the items are no use, unless you are hunting for achievements. And even if you do, you can still get each achievement in one game session.

I'm really trying to enjoy the game, and I love the nightmarish style of everything. However, after getting an inventory packed with random items of incomprehensible usefulness, stumbling over hidden paths that have no intuitive direction to them, and non-sensical conversations with characters providing no clues, I'm resigned to leave the game unfinished, sadly. Having to use the knife on the lizard carcass (read in someone's comment here) finally did me in. With the 20 items in my inventory and no visual or logical indication what to do with most of them, how would I have known to do that, except to select each item one by one and click on every location in every area? Really want to rate it higher, especially for the massive effort put into it,but giving it a 3/5, sorry.

Also, how the heck was I supposed to know that was a card slot?
I love these games but man, the puzzles either make no sense or the visuals are too small to make any sense of them.

...I would've never known to use a knife on that lizard carcass. Considering I picked up three of them, I thought they were just useless items.

Oh my god, almost missed it! I would never forgive myself not playing such awesome game anywhere close to release date.

I don't know which is more depressing. That sad level games are getting to. Or the fact that so many are happy with games getting more and more lame.

Very nice artworks !! But nothing make sense, we seriously don't know why we are doing most of the things. It's a try and fail game, quickly boring.

I tried my hardest to like this game, but I have to agree with what the other's said. It's very frustrating at times trying to figure out which direction is what, and there are no indicators at all. Great artwork, but the gameplay needs some tweaking.

How utterly boring, no marks as to where to go, no mere indication as to what to use any object to / on, or which objects are in fact usable. 1/5

Artistic value does not make a game great, gameplay makes a game great.. and I cannot believe I am saying this... but for a point and click... this game was sub-par. There were no indicators telling you where or what you were clicking on... causing me to go in unwanted directions many times. I will never play this again.
As if that wasn't bad enough, you charge 5$ for the HD version? I can buy better point and clicks for 99 cents from an app store, some for free even.
"Well you just don't understand the art behind the game" d pay entry into a museum.

I always enjoy these games, but without the ability to resize, the nearsighted can't really play. Low score because of unplayability for the handicapped. Sorry.

"never found the knife that was needed 3/10"
Your incompetence is not the games fault. I found three knives. Get your act together.

It's pretty much impossible to tell what you can interact with. Nothing stands out, and you don't get a cursor change or flavor text for anything you can't pick up but still need to mess with.

I am sure I was not the only one who was scared to death at the appearance of the frog hermit. I'm probably also not the only one who still looted the rag and mug from his house regardless.

As expected, a very amazing game with a nice art and gameplay. It is quite thrilling and enjoyable, and the drawings are very beautiful.
