I remember when this first came out. Nobody had a walkthrough up or anything. It was like a giant puzzle everybody was solving together. It was a day before someone beat it.

Submachine was such a big part of my life for a long time. I started playing it on NotDoppler when I was in the 6th grade. Now here I am, a twenty something year old, feeling like my heart is going to pop out of my chest at the prospect of completing the entire Submachine series, first to last, having memorized the solution to every puzzle and the location to every secret in every game from one to ten and all of those in between, 32 chambers, Sub 0...I feel like I'm going to cry.

Magnificent! I can remember the time, vividly in fragments as I didn't play much of it and all in silence, the games I played. And, if I thought it was an old game... Timeless. I can only say its timeless. I like the Chapel's music, where's the OST for this game's songs? And if Humanity finds this game again, buried under the lost ages, I wish that they see what I said and know what a game this is known by me as. Astonishing, magnificent and timeless, if not infinite to the world. I cannot think of the events in the game without thinking of this happening in the real world.

reminded me of the old dos adventures! congrats for your great job! i would suggest to have more mind puzzles though instead of that horrible, time consuming and nerves cracking "back and forth"... that was the main fault of those old dos games also! i bet the majority of gamers would rather spend time in thinking on good quality puzzles than just wondering on a huge map

It was really an eerie experience to revisit the places from Subs 1, 2 and 9 to discover largely wrecked with resin as if hundreds of years passed between the events of part 9 and 10!

...Sorry for the sour puss. I'd like to point out that I still think this is a very fitting last chapter to a decade-long series of very excellent games.

This is the only game in the series where you can't go back and see the secrets after completing the game. Are you seriously telling me I have to go allll the way through this damn long game again, just to get to use my secrets? What a sour pill to cap off an otherwise excellent game series...

10 years...
15 games...
3 upcoming games... (The Engine, The Explorers and Submachine Daymare town steam game)
AND I STILL DON'T UNDERSTAND THE DAMN STORY! ;-;

Holy hell, talk about an epic journey. D: I was scooting through this for ~10 hours 'cause I didn't know wtflyingf was going on. XD I did it, though! Awesome end to an awesome series!

my childhood! the first submachine game came out when i was 6 years old... im 17 now and still adore and replay this series

I loved the game, still I have not yet fully understood all. I know not all is explained and it is ok,there can be many theories how that all adds up. Still I would like to know if I understood it more or less correctly.
Some people especially one architect found anticonstructive matter that was mixed with some karma essence and built a lighthouse a garden and generally it looked like replica or rl temples and buildings. Somewhere along the line the computer processing this became sentient ( when Shiva answered the question) and the entire process developed a life of its own (new structures are formed at the outer rim) and along the line the plan was lost and now shiva as brain expands and repairs its body the submachine. Is that more or less correct? I?m not talking on how that works with the portals or the Murtaugh storyline, just the overall roster is that how that machine came into existence? Just curious.

I see the red parts are expanding. Can that be an indication about the submachine not only becoming sentient but also organic, means partly alive? since the red looks like veins and flesh, not at all anymore like a machine.

i just looked back at my old comment and realized I was gushing uncontrollably able the series and i just wanted to thank whoever downrated my comment enogh to hide it to prevent unwanted spoilers because id hate to ruin the games for someone

When I first played Submachine ( IDK what number ) on gamenode, I literally DID'NT know what to do so I stopped. Now I'm back to test myself...
DEAL WITH IT

I'm dumb. I cant figure out what to do next and ive gone through every room multiple times over a few hours. I gotta throw in the towel and find a walkthrough.

Here I am playing the entire series from start to finish for the fifth time, and I still can't help but shed a few tears every time I finish this game.

I have had so much enjoyment our of the Submachine games. Thank you. I hope you start another 'story' like it I will follow another 10.

Thank you so much Mateusz, all of this years i enjoyed not only Submachine but also Cover Front and Daymare Town. They are all amazing.

I have been playing this fantastic game for over 5 hours, till the end! Usually I do not prefer the genre point and click, but only starting to play this one, it intrigues you a lot about how it will end the game. Nice environments of the scenarios associated with the accurately chosen music! At the end of hours of play... you feel back to real life, but you would like to come back again into the world of Submachine!

This game and series is absolute gold. I can't believe the length and amount of content in this game. As a big fan of traditional point and click adventure games like King's Quest, I'd say this is up there with the best of them.

in addition the simply dwarfs the other 9-ish games (yes, even the loop which was technically infinite but i was counting ithe screen that actually held purpose) the was almost certainly the very best way to have ended it absolutely amazing while i said earlier that it was an online equivlinet to The Room series i take that back The Rooms' ending frequently left you with plenty of questions to chew on and in some cases a sense of "well im glad thats over but what do i about it." whereas this gives a sun to chase and something to look forward to and explore. from a gameplay before graphics standpoint it almost suprisingly surpases The Room series. A absolutely amazing game Mateusz part 2/2

just finished it the ending was amazing you get the "escaped" feeling then the "you are not alone" ending and then you realize who they are, and the little jester-like symbol that you always see in the top left of the title screen is, and then mautaugh(i hope i spelled that right) and then the caption of "you have left the submachine" makes you feel so victorious like the world is now oyster and you have friends to shuck it with, part 1/2
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
submachine has basically set the standard for point and click games and is like an online version of The Room series, thanks a lot Mateusz

Very satisfying grand.. really GRAND finale (it took me more than triple time than any other chapters I spent for) absolutely enjoyable. BEWARE have to use all secrets before ending (which I did not) ;_;

It's been a long time, but everything has come full circle, literally and figuratively. But with an ending that has answered some of the questions that have plagued us since the basement, I can most definitely say that this is one of my favorite games in the series. Thank you Mateusz, for the entire series.

@teenangeljenn The 4 loop stabilizers can be found at: 1. Room with broken radio and gas canister (Storage 33/1), 2. Room with radio and brass panel - Make sure the large switch is in the down position and all three small switches are activated. (Storage 33/3), 3. Room with brass panel - If two switches are on, it's open. (Storage Unit 33/4) and 4. Room with broken video stand after placing all Karma fuses on the fuse box (Storage 33/1).

I just found a frustrating bug. One of the items needed to unlock a secret disappeared from my inventory. It's gone and it's not back at the spot where you pick it up. Now I'll have to replay the whole game just to see all the secrets.

I am going to tear my eyes out. I am so confused. brb going top actually play tghem in order to find out what I HAVE TO DO.

THIS IS AMAZING! I think ive still got a little more to go to finish this one, but definately one of the best ones in the series so far.
Any plans to put it on ios or android? My neice and nephews will love it but they barely use PCs anymore.
