what is funny is that im using the 2nd to worst rod, the game says that you cant cath monsters with the gold rod, yet i caught 3 using a special technique.(IT is not hacking!)

I can't complete the game - any monster tiger fish or mega piranha are eaten by the extinct monsters, so it's impossible to catch all species of monster. Is anyone else having this problem?

The memory leak makes this game prohibitively difficult once you get about halfway through, I kinda wish it had been like that from the start and then I wouldn't have wasted all that time >:(

This REALLY needs a higher rate of 'fish interest' :\ Trying to get the 5 yellow guys with the spinner lure is driving me mad. It's an interesting enough game, but fishing takes WAY too long.

In-dame day 75, bought everything from the shop, tried various lures and hooking live bait, but the Monster Sunfish still eludes me, completely blocking me from progressing further.
Looked at the "Guide", which is just four full hours of a guy playing the game without any explanation, gave up and rated 1*.
Sorry, but this is just a mess of a game.

"Here's this very long tutorial, please memorize everything." --Yawn. Almost closed the game from this alone. Also, games really need to be able to start muted, including the intro

I caught a monster sunfish by catching a small cyprinids near the bottom of the lake, then keeping him on the line until a monster sunfish came along, and the cyprinids was bait for the sunfish.

You can't even get past the 5 Yellow Perch challenge. I have 5 in my Live Well right now all caught with the Spinner and it's stuck. Oml.

i cant tell what bait is good for catching what. do i get a sinking one to catch monster fish? they dont seem atracted to them. am i supposed to get a smaller fish on the line to catch a monster? its quite hard. and the catch all monsters in a certain area to progress is so anoying

In the tutorial it says: "You can catch fish on 7 places: Lake, River, Port, Ocean, Cave and Island" which is only 6. :P

Unless I am missing something, it takes WAYYYYY too long to get to other fishing areas. I can't imagine anyone wanting to play as long as this games seems to think people will want to play. The gameplay is repetitive. And Repetitive and long are a bad mix. An seriously...why WOULDN'T there be a simple, one click way to put ALL your caught fish into your inventory? Why would anyone NOT want to do this?

ive got a fairly decent gaming pc and im getting lag issues. being able to turn the quality down would be good... or any sugestions as to why im having trouble

I would like to be able to change lures without having to quit fishing. I would also like a quick retrieve button so if I made a stupid cast or used the wrong lure I don't have to slowly reel it back in.

Casting entirely off the screen is a bit annoying. As is the fact that many of my lures just drag along the bottom until they're virtually underneath me and the fish don't seem to be interested it in once it is too close to the dock.

Very fun game. With a little work, it could be one of my favorites. The fish breeding isn't exactly clear, but appears to happen on its own. The lures don't seem to make much of a difference. Getting all the lake and river monsters is such a big task that it stops you from enjoying the rest of the game. It would appear you can really only catch monsters by catching smaller fish and letting them swim around until a monster bites. That makes it tough because some fish don't eat but one other fish.

Needs progress bars or counters for missions... stuck on the 5 golden perch ffor hours now. Already have most of the monsters in the lake but never seems to progress past level 3.

Fun game, but I'm not really seeing any difference in the lures other than the rate they sink. Are the lures supposed to have different effects towards different levels of the food chain or different size fish?

I really wanted to give the game a 5/5. The fishing part is fun. Money is too easy to get. Some of the quests take ages to complete (example level 5-catch all monster fish in the river and lake). And not being able to progress if you can't complete a quest zaps the fun factor.

The quest successful banner covers the top power bar, other than that I like it, the main gameplay mechanic is a lot like the Potco fishing mini game
