It's just Plants vs Zombies, except the graphics are all cluttered, there's no ability to remove things, and it's hard to see everything at a glance.
Not bad, but just a ripoff of a superior game. :(

Any one else have this problem? I played a normal campaign, had only one level left (the one with the line of soldiers and griffins). I backed out, looked around the menu, but when clicked on continue, I had a fully red map, no money, and no levels to play. I tried reloading, and when I clicked continue, it started me on a new game. If the game doesn't save, what's the use of a continue button?

Just because this game is a version of PvZ there is no reason to put it down. After all, most games out there is a version of something already out there. Glad to see another PvZ version out there, this one is easy to play and enjoyable. Thanks for making this one. Just build the fire mage and alter of mana for map with 35% resistance, start fire mages on column 3-5 and alter of mana on column 1 and 2 for easy wins.

The game is Plants vs Zombies minus humour. Gameplay is worse than in PvZ - tiles are small and almost invisible (I've missed the lowest row once, because I wasn'table to see it!). The attempt in storyline is completely failed (Fighting against someone who managed to get in a week an army to capture whole Europe seems to be futile). It doesn't even explain why do you need to prevent enemies from walking past you to capture some country... Well... maybe it what "active defense" means. In total - 2/5.

What a buggy mess. When I hit restart on mission 2, the zombies never came. Then I went to the main menu, hit and continue, clicked on the region to try again, selected the units, and the to battle button wouldn't work. Now whenever I get to the map screen, even in a new game, it's stuck the way it froze.

its a good thing and i would love it if i didnt know pvz... its like if you play starcraft 2 and then go back to brood war.

Passable, English needs a bit of improvement. Gameplay needs some tweaking, otherwise the same basic strategy with the same 3 units or so is enough to beat the game except for the levels with griffins.

What the heck? Why are people being voted down for saying this is a copy of plants vs zombies? it IS plants vs zombies in a new theme with new units. I havn't even played it i just saw a few pictures and heard about it on yahoo news. Saw some of the gameplay, i dont care what you think this is plants vs zombies.

It's like Plants Vs. Zombies with a fantasy theme. Not a bad thing, I love that game, and I'm so far enjoying this one. Could use some things like a sell/move/remove feature, in case you put a unit in the wrong spot. A radius targeting feature for the meteor would be cool, so we know exactly what the damage radius is. Upgradeable units or add-ons for the units would be pretty cool too.

Nice game, enjoyed playing Plants vs. Zombies, and enjoyed playing this. Agree with a few of the suggestions to improve the game. 1) Add hot keys (1-5, each assigned to one of the unit slots), 2) Health bars, preferably via hover-over, 3) Sell units (I'd guess for a refund = to something like Total Price * 0.66 * (Remaining Health / Total Health)), and finally 4) Altar of Mana should add mana continuously. Making is click it to gain the mana does nothing to improve the game or make it more challenging. Just makes it a chore. Cheers and good work!

Hard isn't that hard. Fire Mage + Mana Altar + Golem + Ice Mage + Illusion Altar (obtained in that order) can still beat any level with relative ease. A few tips: Aim to fill your entire back column with Mana Altars on each level ASAP. Take a few intentional hits so you can develop your Mana Altars and defenses (on other rows, of course). Enemy waves never change, so if you restart a level, you can expect the same attack pattern. If you're having trouble with archers, either let a few walk through (if the row is empty or you don't mind losing a unit or two) or use Fire Mage meat shields (3-4 deep) and/or Golems to deal with them.

Theres a zombie on your lawn!
Oh, wait, this aren't zombies are they?
Then, why does it look EXACTLY as plants vs. zombies?? Seriously I was like, I think I've played this game before, only that it involved plants AND zombies...
well, at least u reminded me of the good old thais where I planted stuff on my lawn to kill some zombies that wanted to my brains!!

Piros12 is totally right. The game suddleny gets so hard you want to smash your keyboard. The 85% is easy to beat in the first try. The 90% is so hard I don't even have any idea how to beat it. Neither works playing with nor playing with instant damage...

I guess fun but my computer starts to lag making my mages take longer to fire (obviously). But even though my mages take longer during the lag the enemies still walk just as fast as normal. meaning my guys die...

It says after you beat it that it's inspired by plants vs zombies. So the jokes are pointless. Either make a totally original game yourself or don't criticize someone for making something that's not totally original.

"nemies are invading your kingdom, and the defense is your army of mages!"-- bovine excrement! It can be clearly seen in the game that you invade 3 mundane (non-magical) kingdoms in a row and turn them into what I presume is a magical emirate (based on the point of origin)

The grid is a bit hard to see on some levels and it would be neat if i could upgrade my units. Other than that, it's a pretty good PvsZ clone.

Archers need to be nerfed in a huge way, they can attack from the furthest edge and they have so much hp that by the time you kill 1 they've taken down 3 mages...

can you beat this game? well i can.. but it makes me boring before i can even enjoy it @@ sorry, no offence.. but really need many improvement here..
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
bland game. I beat every level with the same red mage+fountains combo. Only 1 level required any kind of strategy with the mind control thingy.

Fun game for about the first 8 missions or so, then the difficulty curve has got to be one of the steepest I've ever seen, especially with some of the "should have" stuff missing.

Piros12: your kind of players are the reason there's no challenge in most of the games nowadays. you become a crybaby if you are up against any difficulty...

Longbow Archers fire far too fast. Ice Mages are just useless by taking 50 more mana and 1 extra "channels" to do less damage and no real change to attack speed. Give some expanded upgrades to towers themselves so more than 1 playstyle is viable.
